The main issue I have with the "Enhanced" versions is how half-assed they are, and how they seem to be targeted at no one. Fans of the original trilogy have largely condemned them for their many issues, technical or otherwise, and the gameplay sucks too much for new players to take interest. Just about the only saving grace is the fact that it wasn't a forced update for the original releases, so... hooray for not screwing it up as badly as they could've, I guess?

What makes this even more amusing is that explosives are actually pretty useless and cumbersome when you try to use them, but apparently, the nerf only goes one way.

I can't remember the exact details of why they sucked, but I think it was the comically small blast radius, with damage dropoff so harsh that you pretty much have to land grenades at enemies' feet.
