Hello. I'm not really a fan of npc shooting me through the bushes and i see that there is 2 disabled mods which i think are the same mod but different versions. The mods are called "NPCs cannot see through foliage" and "NPCs cannot see through foliage - Tosox Version". What's the difference and is it real good or should just accept that i'm playing against cheaters?

So you want the NPCs to not see you through foliage anymore? Well, you're in luck.
They don't see you through bushes already.
There are now THREE ways to further circumvent the issue:

• You can learn how to properly position yourself, how to flank enemies or retreat so they lose track of you. Fight enemies dynamically and outsmart the AI, don't sit in a bush or walk into one thinking they will forget you. Get better at the game. Enemies react to to sound and hear bushes rustling. Avoid that.
• Download and enable this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/152dltx-smaller-bushes to, per se, level the playing field, making some locations feel incredibly empty, whilst keeping bushes about knee high.

Hi, I just finished downloading the game and started playing by installing only additional Retrouge's weapon mod. Other than that pretty much baseline GAMMA, for some reason I start new game and no NPC spawns. I previously played a modified version of GAMMA, and I never encountered this problem until I tried out the current patch. Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

You can probably delete everything in the downloads folder, but if something goes wrong, you'd have to redownload GAMMA from scratch.

Probably everything. The installer checks if you have all mods downloaded and then proceeds to install them. But if you really need space, you can delete the zips with the mods, they're backups anyway. I never tried it, so don't blame me if it breaks your game.

If you delete the files in the download folder, the next time you try to update, it will download all of them again. So only do it if you don't intend on updating any time soon

i mean the whole issue of "cannot find motion file" is exactly that you don't have the file, so you can't search for which mod was supposed to have it, unless someone happens to know, or you make an educated guess

in this instance i would, for example, assume any mod that adds a G36K or reanimates it, is supposed to provide it. so the logical step would be to redownload and reinstall it.

@tropic kite I FIXED IT turns out the bug was caused by having the eft 3dss patch enabled while having the actual EFT weapon pack already disabled (because the 3dss patch needed the eft pack in order to work without errors duhh)

Hello guys. I have a strange error with Exosuits, some works fine an correctly some cause a crash on equipt. the error massage say it can't find Actor hud for different exo suits. I have 3 mods installed one changeing the player models can that be the problem? Using latest about thje job version, vanilla GAMMA mod list (save mods disabled for FDDA redone, which I don't think should affect tasks at ALL) as well as FDDA Redone itself.

started as loner in rostok on debug, taking every fetch task via PDA task board (which is at max scanning distance.) spawned in 2 chimera meat for a fetch task for a dutyer near rostok's entrance from garbage, and upon talking to said NPC when i try to turn it in they don't accept my it.

Is there a known problem with the VSS's full-auto firing mode when using the magazine mod? I'm using the standard mod list, activated the magazines and started a new game. When I got my hands on a VSS and had the tools and resources to repair it, I had to find out that it is now semi-auto only. However, the config file still lists fire_modes = 1, -1.
I tried using different magazines and scope/no scope, hoping that maybe this settings gets somehow overridden, but nothing helped.

Most likely its cuz of the task mod in the gamma disabled. You could try disabling that and see if it fixes your problem(its called gamma "disabled" for a reason lol)

on the right side of the mod organizer tab you can search up individual files (task_fetch.script in this case), search up the file and see what mods are responsible for that file

So i've had this issue with gamma for like 2 years now but its never really bothered me that much and it still doesnt but i wanna know if anyone else has this or a potential fix, for some reason, modded or un modded, no matter what, i always have all recipes for ammo and meds and repair kits (also the hideout furniture but i dont know if those are locked behind recipes), just by default, is there some sort of setting im not seeing? whether i load in debug mode or not it always happens. like i said it doesnt bother me too much but id like to actually have a use for all the recipes in the game lmao

also the versions of SSS, Enhanced Shaders, Aydin's Grass and Atmospherics included with gamma are all the latest versions already, you really do not need to reinstall them on your own

well... yeah, because at this point, your modlist is combo of two different patch versions plus other custom stuff

the latest patch changed the mod order but your custom modlist will not have those changes applied

to do a proper fresh install at this point, i would tell you to first delete the contents of your GAMMA folder/mods, not just clicking install/update.

and you never actually have to click "first install initialization" after the literal first time

Hello, I've been having an issue with mag redux.
When I use the ammo selector wheel to switch between ammo types the game only loads one round into the gun for some reason, then I have to reload again to actually load a full mag. Is this normal behaviour or is there a setting or mod somewhere I'm missing that would help me fix this please?
I have activated Mag Redux and disabled Gamma Unjam. I also have Traders sell mags active. In total I have 520 mods active.

Debug mode is on, mod is installed, but when I press M then ², only thing that shows is this (see screenshot). I don't have the ID of every active task.
