I installed the expanded hideout furniture mod on top of base GAMMA, nothing else.

After a few hours in game, I suddenly can't see quest NPC location markers - for example, I have a quest to bring a bunch of Hoppe's no.9 to a dutyer in rostok, but I can't tell where or who he is.

Anyone know if it's an actual bug or a feature I accidentally turned on or off?

If you first off added SSS and Atmospherics, GAMMA should come by default with both of those, best bet for when you've modified gamma though is just uncheck it and see if x thing works without y mod

Enable- npcs cannot see through foliage

Quick guide on how to enable anims in-game:

4. Find Teivaz's Gunslinger Exo Animations Port in MO2 -> right click it -> Open in explorer -> open Gamedata folder -> scripts folder -> open enhanced_animations.script using any notepad. Remove "false--" from 61 and 68 lines. Save it.
5. Disable G.A.M.M.A Reliable Animation settings in MO2.
   Now, that you have unblocked FDDA MCM settings, you can enable those animations in-game using MCM settings.

Do it at your own risk. Those animations can cause Busyhands .

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder

5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

By old ammo variants do you mean ammo like ammo_12x70_buck_bad or the 12x70 ammos back in? I tried using ammo_23x75_barrikada_bad but it doesnt work. The normal KS23 just has these ammos and it works fine.

okay so here's the new log. date checked it to be sure and with this crash i just stood there and looked around till it bricked.

i could load the auto save which is a lil bit before the daddysave and head over to the laundromat which is where this started, kill the vlad fellow and then get the crash log from that if that's more likely to have the error to show up.

if it freezes: make sure you turned Dynamic Music in audio settings off

it just causes freezes, and is usually most obvious when you get into a fight/right after a fight ends

Yes to your first q, and kind of to your second q - changes to these files only take effect with new spawns, so you are probably seeing a renegade that was spawned while you still had that custom mod active

gamma needs to be installed on a COMPLETELY CLEAN version of anomaly, crcr shit is beyond me, nope

your anomaly saves are in Anomaly/appdata/savedgames, your GAMMA shit is entirely inside the GAMMA folder, so reinstalling Anomaly doesn't touch gamma

@flat rock To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

my game started to mess up after I tried installing GTR ground textures, I tried removing it but it made it worse and there was random snow on the ground (inverno was disabled)

another thing I should've probably said was I managed to get it working a couple hours beforehand (i didnt tinker with it after that so im not sure why this is happening) but when it was running, there was a lighter shaded portion of my screen on the top left that just mirrored my hands movements

I checked the log for when I tried launching my updated gamma and its just laughing fanatic's guns that floods the errors, most confusing part though is that it didn't really seem to have a similar error from when I launched with base gamma

Cuz usually when a mod messes ur game up, once you toggle it off if works fine again and u find out that the mod just wasnt compatible or something

Btw I see there is a helper active rn in the base gamma support, maybe try posting your problem in there as well
