you installed mods that add items. those mods provide their own icons. those icons may or may not fit the style of the other icons.
unless you're volunteering to draw all new icons for all the items to make them match, that's just how they are.

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

re: copy over mags patches: yes, make a new mod containing the files from GAMMA Weapons Pack that are overwritten by Anomaly Magazines (literally make a folder, copy paste with the same file structure, etc.) I even have a screenshot that highlights the exact four files later in the convo.
re: making sure MR overwrites GMTOP: yes. it will likely lead to some weird descriptions of magazines but whatever, it makes sure Mags Redux's MCM menu works

In latest version of mod pack Battle Rifle IWI ACE 52 is broken. No spare parts are displayed neither in pop-up description nor in toolbox window.

Hi all, I'm looking at the HUD offsets Editor mod, which states to require "Latest Demonized EXEs", I have found the github for it but I'm unsure of what it is? Check Ammo Check in MO2 for its actual keybind, and if you want it to do animations (for some guns), you gotta disable Busyhands Fix toggle. @keen stirrup

I've currently got an issue where YACS is not functioning properly. Whenever I try to quicksave when away from a fire, it tells me I need to be at a fire, and tells me the readout of "You will get another Daddy token in _ seconds". This is normal and expected. However, when I go a fire and quicksave, my screen stutters like it's saving, but it doesn't create a quicksave. My YACS timer for my next Daddy token resets though. I can save normally using the menu rather than F5.
These are the only mods I have that may be directly affecting it. The others are weapon mods (specifically UGP) I've been using for a long time
Update: I also can't use Daddy tokens / friendly bases to quicksave either. It has the same issue of making my game freeze for a split second, as if it's quicksaving, but does not create a quicksave or give me a HUD notification that the game has saved
So, uh... I figured it out.
This has nothing to do with mods. Or, at least, any of the ones I have installed.
The way the save menu works for Stalker, it can't use most special symbols. Normally this isn't an issue, since it just doesn't type the symbol and moves on. BUT, if your character is named a specific way that uses these symbols like I did (Ex: Jim "Jimmy" Smith), the YACS mod doesn't create a save file, since the " symbol isn't allowed in the save menu.
...Do I report this as a bug? I don't even know if this is something that should be reported, but dayum, that's something I didn't expect to be a problem until the moment of.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:
- First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
- If it doesnβt work, close Gamma launcher and go to
GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resourcesand rungit-bash.exeas administrator. - Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

- Now close the

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

that has been disabled , do quests and get stash coordinates
before it was too easy since nearly every stash woul have items so in the early game you could search about 40/50 stashes and get OP in no time

How to fix incorrect PU scope radius?
- Go to "D:\Gamma\mods\G.A.M.M.A. Scopes radius fixes\gamedata\scripts".
- Open file "scopeRadii.script" with text editor (e.g. Notepad).
- Find row "wpn_crosshair_pu".
- Change value to 0.30. Must be "wpn_crosshair_pu = 0.30,".
- Save file and load game. The black round area around PU scope will now disappear.
This is because of incorrect scope radius. You need to edit file "scopeRadii.script" in the similar way as I have desrcribed for PU scope above. But you need to find rows for gauss scope and I don't know what scope is on the left of your scrennshot.

Yeah thanks my guy. It's one of the mods I added probably a weapon mod. I was smart this time and saved the OG GAMMA MO2 profile as default and any tinkering is in a new one. So I can always go back to default and see if it's a bug in GAMMA or something I added. Thank you.

GAMMA already comes with Retrogues Additional Weapons. If you want the AR pack you'll need to add that seperate. And then open the mod from MO2 and go to scripts and delete anim_core. Pretty sure any way.
Do yourself a favor and leave the default GAMMA profile in MO2 be and create a differen't profile for modding.
Oh yes yes I forgot to reply, I already resolved this. What I did was I downloaded RAWP from moddb itself, while not knowing that RAWP was already in MO2... and yeah I just deleted that anim_core script, the error was gone

@steep latch "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions. Common signs include:
- Broken health HUD (all red)
- Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
- Crashing on area transition
- Can't open inventory
If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work any more, you'll be in permanent busyhands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #βπfaq message

since that mod is incorrectly installed, MO2 doesn't have any file data in it at all, so it's just completely empty

A quick project made for STALKER GAMMA with the help of Bert for extracting the sounds. It uses a simple script to detect the current ground material the actor is on, and play the corresponding ammo casing falling sound using an accurate delay for each type of gun (pump action, bolt action etc).

Hello might need some help. Recently downloaded Gamma again and started modding it. All the mods I added are Universal Animations fix, UGP, Arrival, Spatial anomalies, Model Merge Project and ZR as well as its Reshade, but it crashes regardless of Reshade. I also did the first method of readding Reshade. The crash happens when I shoot with specifically a RAPTR, I tested with both some OG Gamma and modded Guns, but only a few. Maybe its hopeless or an easy fix, just wanted to give the details.

set the shit from 20 to 6 thinking it means 6x zoom

it's getting multiplied by 0.75 and that's your fov when you aim
so then it just went from 20 * 0.75 to 6 * 0.75 right?
so if you have 90 fov and 120 zoom factor you get 1x zoom
is there a way to have the scope zoom independently while everything else doesn't zoom in?
like whatever's inside the scope gets a reduced FOV, but everything else stays the same, like it would irl?
the closest thing to that is true picture in picture scopes which just displays a copy of your screen onto the back of the scope in the shape of a circle
which is a thing in some base gamma guns/optics like the guns with eotechs and magnifiers or the pka sight for dovetail mounts
