If you enabled mags on the old saves, you will always have to enable mags every time you want to load them. It's possible to remove mags but there's a specific script + procedure you have to follow

it's in the list of disabled mods, if you just type mags in the filter you'll find it. Then disable unjam key reload, and recommend you enable "Mags Buyable at Traders"

Fixed this by running the standard Anomaly launcher with "Delete Shader Cache" getting to the menu then closing.
Then launch the game via the GAMMA Launcher and it fixed the shaders.

hey guys! Maybe someone knows how to add MagsRedux magazines to specific trader stock? I was trying to configure it by myself, but only managed to add mags to traders, that already exist in mod configuration. The problem is - there are no WP traders in existing config, only NATO. And it seems weird, that NATO faction traders sell WP magazines. I tried to use Mags buyable at traders mod, but i don't like the way all possible mags are available after reaching 1000 faction goodwill and don't know, how to configure it also. Any suggestions?)

Has this been fixed yet? Only happens after changing basically any graphical setting.
And i mean stuff like the immersive gas mask options (I turn those off). I havent touched grass or view settings or anything. I did the fix where I delete the atmos 7zip's in the downloads folder, and downloaded the other one to put in its place. I forced zip extraction after doing that, still happens.
The only changes I do to mo2 is to disable: yacs better campfire saves, beef's nvg, GAMMA sleep balance, immersive sleep, and FDDA immersive sleep patch.
I add a carry weight slider mod, carryweight slider extended.

For visual changes I do this
Under ui/hud I make these changes:
enable show crosshair, crosshair target distance
I turn these off in the player tab under visual:
radiation effect, low health blur,
mask overlay, rain droplets, glass reflection

thats all I do for visual changes. I could go through all the other changes I make if you want in the varios other options, but I dont know how they would effect the graphics / shaders.

Edit: Under ui/hud, I also set headbobbing factor to 0.

Let me go test. Im doing a force zip extraction update so that I can actually reload into the game, since thats the only way for me to even get it started.
Keep in mind you need to go -into- a save, even a brand new one, save the game, and then exit. Upon restarting the game, thats when I get the shader cache issue

Update: I believe I fixed the r.a.w. reshade issue by reinstalling the gamma ext profile, ran into another issue with "can't open section "moon_halo_1st_q", following a fix for it seems to work, but then i get another error called "Can't open section 'collection_distant'."

fwiw if you have user.ltx open and can figure out which settings variables correspond to which that would be great. but so far, all the options that seem to crash people out are the reshade/Screen Space Shader ones (starts with rs, r1/2/3, or ssfx_)

such as... resolution, fullscreen/borderless, rain, grass, etc.

the OTHER thing to test to see if it's Reshade's fault - for all of the settings that make you crash out, see if disabling Reshade lets you change them properly (press PageUp to toggle Reshade on/off)

The damage balancer was indeed conflicting just like in Artyom's case but i had an additional mod having zzz_player_injuries. It was "campfire heals limbs". Turned it off and so far managed to get killed with damage to different limbs.

Whenever i try to start the game, i get a crash with the message can't open section "collection_distant". I have reason to believe its related to the horror overhaul mod, and maybe atmospherics.

stuff ive got installed is the r.a.w. reshade through a gamma ext profile. ive ran the version 5 installer once with install large files (had 409 mods active) and once with force zip extraction (411 mods active, should be fine, right? but the black market mod is flagged..) so i dont think its a base gamma issue

but i found the atmospherics mod file (C:\GAMMA\mods\290- Atmospherics Shaders Weathers and Reshade - Hippobot\gamedata\configs\environment\weathers), Found w_storm1.ltx, pressed ctrl + F and searched for collection_distant, and replaced every single one with collection_close

after doing this, gamma successfully started.

Hiya, I dont really need support, moreover I think I found a bug, however I do not have permissions to post in the bugs chat.
So, I noticed that the gun i found in the ground (The SVU) according to the list has a dirty barrel with a condition of 99%, however in the Replacement Parts section (bottom right) it says its at 69%. Later, I also noticed that with my AK-105 Shakal, in the list it will say the barrel is at 100%, although at a workbench, the barrel condition is at 84% and in the Replacement Parts section the barrel condition is at 21%.
In the pictures ive tried to circle the important bits, where the condition levels of the Gun parts do not line up with each other.
PS: This issue persists with my Saiga-12 "Nerd" and USP "Match"

Okay so in MO2 you'll see the dropdown to select whichever renderer you want. In that same list there will be AVX and non-AVX versions. For me I get crashes sometimes when using AVX, even though my CPU supports it. Might try running the game without the AVX option and see how that works for you.

Yes that is it. Here is what it looks like through MO2. I recommend creating a shortcut on your desktop using MO2 for your preferred renderer. So for me I created a DX11 shortcut on my desktop. That way you don't have to go through the slow Anomaly launcher and you're guaranteed to launch with all the correct addons through MO2.

Also, while you're in MO2 scroll through all the addons and ensure there are no addons with a red ❌ flag.

Have you had any other games crash with memory errors? Are you sure all of your RAM sticks are in good health and properly seated in their slots? Might be worth running Memtest86 to see if there's any faults in your memory.

To troubleshoot this further, I think it would be a good idea to monitor your memory usage while in game and while it crashes. You could use the basic Windows Task Manager in graph mode to see this, but typically dedicated software like Afterburner, etc work better for this kind of thing. It would be good to see if it is actually somehow consuming all of your available memory, or if there is something else at play here.

Out of memory error is usually caused by some mod that is misconfigured or broken running in a loop and running out of assigned memory, not an actual RAM issue. Would recommend you start by seeing if a new game on default Gamma works fine, if it does slowly enable your extra mods one by one until you find the fucked one

I was wondering .Is there a winter mod.That I could use for winter months and untick for the other seasons. The grass tweak mod. Lets you select trees and grass for all 4 seasons.Would be VERY easy to change those according to my PDA date. But i need a mod that adds snow to the zone, but that i could remove with out breaking my game. I cant be the only one who has thought of this lol. Any suggestions? It does, but you have to change it to No Groups in the bottom, next to Filter

If it's set to Categories, they won't have the arrows, so you won't be able to expand/collapse them

My game crashes after almost every zone transition and also after most Alt Tabs.
I'm playing on DX9 compatibility patch, Beef's NVG disabled. Unlimited stash weight on, companion friendly fire off, item UI improvement. Meaning I don't think some of these mods are causing this.
Any thoughts?

I can not load my 0.9.0 savegame it CTD at loading. After update I had 411 mods and it was possible to start a new game but not my old save. I added some more mods in 0.9.0 which I enabled after update to try to load my old save but still CTD. I made 2 profiles in MO2 The original GAMMA and a modded one to be able to shift between them.
My log file say:

Do something for me real quick, as a test:

1. In MO2, search for walther and glock. It should show you 2 files, both from Gunslinger guns
2. Delete the 2 of them (keep them in your recycle bin so you can just restore them later)
3. Try and see if the crash persists

They're both missing a walther_close sound that caused crashes for me, and even if rename and correctly place a sound file for it, it would cause generic crashes for me during level transition

ok, but sometimes, it crashes when the "compiling" ends

end due to the fact that I have a green potato PC, I'm kinda forced to use DX9. I get 25-30 fps walking thru Rostok and AM on vanilla DX11, but with DX9 I get 45-60 and dipping into 35-40 in fight in AM and so on.

Maybe there's a more reliable way to get more stable performance without turning on DX9, as I suspect that's what's causing the crashes for me

you won't get the visual effects that reshade provides, but you will still benefit from the (many) visual mods in the modpack

to delete reshade, the simplest way is to run the GAMMA Launcher and select only "Delete Reshade dlls" in the options, then click "Install/Update GAMMA". This will reset your modlist + settings to default again

I think its a video setting that I changed from a performance guide on Youtube I copied. After trouble shooting different settings for awhile Im unable to figure out whats going on though.
