Hey folks, I updated to 0.9 successfully, then today I updated to get some of those Mags Redux fixes. I'm now getting a fatal error when trying to load my save:
Can't find variable max_item_mass in [monolith_scientific_light_outfit_legs]
Ticking "Pre-0.9 Saves Fix" hasn't fixed me either.
I think you can do that by unchecking GAMMA UI in Mod Organizer. But that may cause issues in-game, I don't know. Try it out.
I'm trying to use Modern UI 1.0.0 with GAMMA and really the only issue seems to be the bars on the bottom left there. Does anyone know what I should do to remove those default-looking bars for Rads/Psy? Using Hide HUD option in-game does it but it also removes any option to use compass and hides the companion HUD too.

Hello i noticed that HD Models was unticked on the new update and was running just fine then i ticked it and this crash shows on start... any solving? i've tried reinstalling and seems nothing have changed.
I enabled the Ironman Roguelite mod. Does anyone know how to reset it so the stashes, my dead body, rep and stuff aren't kept? Moddb page says to do this but I couldn't find the file and I assume this is only when installing for default anomaly.

Hi again, folks! I am not sure if it is an issue of magazine addon compatability or not, seems game crashes when i try to trade with sellers that have NATO mags at 7.62*51mm mags in stock. I easily entered the swamp with no crash as i had in Jupiter, but game crashes just as i press F at the trader on a Clear sky base, that sells ammo and stuff. Any suggestions how this can be fixed?
Oh, I have another question: Inventory Weights Revised mod crashes my game. Anything I can do about that? That mod is extremely useful for me.

I'm trying to get the mags mod to work but i can never unload the mags from bodies. they just always say full and when transferred are empty. right click doesn't work. anyone know how to get this working?

Hello. Since I updated to 0.9 I cant loot from NPC's. I have more ammo types installed by ArtiGroks and that mod seem to be causing the issue (not before update tho). Here is the error and also my mod order. Can somebody please help me ? Thanks

To loot something u need to be the killer of it otherwise you can only looot if u press F nmany timnes, but the person that killed that creature will attack u
Since i Updated to 0.9, everytime I want to load a save or start a new game, the Game ceashes and spits out this error msg. I was told to ask here and also provide a screenshot of my launcher. Hope some1 can help:)

I got it working by reinstalling the mod and replacing it. Right click it in MO2 and reinstall.

well I just found out that any NPC I want to interact with (even talking to random npcs or traders) will result in the same crash and same error as I posted above

you have to download it through mod db to reinstall then sort by priority and put it next to the mod youre trying to reinstall

I made a G.M.M.A copy in the MO2 presets. Does the last update (today) add new mods or remove.. Just want to know as I have a few selected and turned off from the default setting. This is just so I make sure to tick them etc
Would appear that a new addition was GAMMA NPC spawns. If you do have a saved preset in MO2 you will find the new addition in the disabled section at the bottom, Which would be after your renamed MCM values if you saved yours such that it wont be overwritten each update

right click it in mo2, select reinstall, choose what you want
not sure what happened with this new update but now my saves are getting fucked beyond belief, for some reason the bhs ui doesnt load properly and whenever I try to load a previous save my game crashes and the game crash COMPLETELY HARDLOCKS MY PC, I cant even open task manager to nuke the game i have to resort to shutting down my pc using the power button, crash log doesnt say anything besides the usual stack trace bullshit, i can revert back to a previous save before i slept and that fixes it, but at some point the same shit starts happening all over again, this is annoying to say the least, some help here would be much appreciated π

So i rebound my reload to R and for some reason when i press it. The animation plays like hes gonna put the weapon away. Putting the safety on and putting it away then pulling it back out
you need to add mags to your loadout
right click on a mag > add to loadout
different armor have different amount of mag slots
okay just did that. so maybe hes going between other mags.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.
- Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
- Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
- SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
- DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
- OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
- Open the launcher with admin rights
- Uncheck every box in the Launcher
- Click on

it looks different because when i extract them to the anomaly folder there are two separate folders. one for the older and one for the newer verion

the point of extracting that update folder is to overwrite old file, that is what an update does, replace old shit, you only placed the files into a folder that contain the other folder that actually have the files you were supposed to replace from the update
that because for WHATEVER REASON, you have a redundant folder layer
dont do that next time, just have c drive > anomaly > game files

and after extraction the anomaly folder had to subfolders for the earlier and newer version
you have an extra folder layer, otherwise you wouldnt be extracting files without replacing anything
earlier viersion has the anomaly executable and the newer has the changes.txt file

i just did that because they said not to drag and drop
so after 7zip extract the files it just does that by default
and instead of extract 1.5.2 files into the folder that has all the game files, you extracted it into the folder that contained the folder with the game files instead
it depends on how you extract, there are two ways
so after both extracted i have this
you can extract content into a folder that bare the same name as the .zip file
or you can extract directly into a specific folder
so should i pull all of the files out of those folders and just keep the anomaly parent folder
no you are supposed to extract the content of the 1.5.2 update .zip folder, into whichever Anomaly folder that hold all the game files
and hit replace files during extraction process
oh ok. so id be extracting into the anomaly-1.5.1.2 folder

the game was still running just fine but when i booted up my PC the next day this kept pop up when i try to load up a game even with a fresh install

so it seems that the [Outfit drop - arti] addon is now totally unusable despite being a default in Gamma nod lists and MCM
basically it's overwritten (to the point of redundant) by [DLTX Minimodpack - Demonized] and [G.A.M.M.A. Helmets need armor repair kits], I'm gonna call them A & B for short
I tried the only thing I know: changing priority order. Here's what happened (fresh new Gamma with almost no changes)
If I try to place [Outfit drop - arti] higher than A but lower than B, then the addon will no longer in 'redundant' state, BUT, it still doesn't work at all in game
If I try to place [Outfit drop - arti] higher than B (also means > A), then the game will crash as soon as I loot any corpse, and say the same thing:

Disabling gunslinger replacers causes some weapons hud models doesn't appearing and functioning(I cannot shoot, reload or even change the weapon). Anyone's know how to fix it?
looking thru my last crash log i came up on a lot of sounds that needed proper commenting, I end up finding out this entire folder from Shrike's footsteps addon that comes with gamma has the ai detecting your footsteps up to 50 range, not sure if thats meters but that seems too high for footsteps, is grok aware of this at all? π€
someone in the gamma team needs to get in contact with shrike and tell him to fix his shit, his sound mods are awesome but there's a lot of sounds missing proper commenting and with ludicrous AI distance numbers, another example

they are gonna be highlighted with red
Most files are overwritten by GAMMA Large files and GAMMA weapon pack, also by dark signal audio pack and GAMMA's text overhaul and a few files by gamma ui
I can turn off the weapon pack, but the changes there are not only related to gunslinger addon, so i'm afraid of breaking something else
- Disabled Mags Redux HUD by default (I don't think it's necessary really, just open up your inventory then press 4 to manage your mags)

Using Magazines but since the update I can't get rid of the large ammo type icon on the HUD (eg: buckshot) without disabling the HUD altogether. No option to toggle it either like you can with the minimap. Any ideas thanks.

I currently have Mags Redux installed and I rebound the "unjam" key to Y. When I press Y and I have the SA 58 OSW (rifle) drawn, the sound for inspecting the weapon plays, but no animation plays. I have tried this animation with other weapons and it looks like the animation for the SA 58 OSW may not exist/has been disabled. Wondering if anyone else has this issue or if it hasn't been properly animated yet.

I use it just fine.
Game crashes in Yantar because it wants "stalker_ecolog_peregrine.ogf" but the patch contains only "stalker_ecologist_peregrine.og". Changing in the file name from ecologist to ecolog fixes the problem. So open up the HD Models patch in mo2 by right clicking on it, then click open in explorer, then open game data ---> meshes ---> actors ---> stalker_ecologist ---> And change it as I said. I believe this should fix it. -- Apparently lol. If not just revert this back π€·
Ah yesterdays update has sorted ammo icon on HUD. Not sure if that was only a thing when using Mags Redux but it's gone now. Not sure why anyone would need it in the first place.

happens whenever I enter Army Warehouses
found the solution myself, seems to be working so far (loaded fine and does what i wanted it to)
right click the mod and send to> last conflict
this moves it out of the category it's supposed to be in and places it in gamma hud, i suppose you could also move the entire category it's in down since that just contains two mods that are mutually exclusive (you'll only have one enabled anyway)
probably S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Anomaly-Gunslinger.zip downloaded with error. Download gunslinger mod repository from github and copy all the files from folders except AEK to 312- Gunslinger Guns for Anomaly - Teivazcz & Gunslinger Team
turning off gunslinger fixed it
only sickgun.omf file. Other ones might be missing too so it is not the real solution

In case someone has the same problem deleting the w_walther.ltx and w_glock.ltx from Gunslinger seems to have fixed that CTD.

Anyone had this before? I can play GAMMA Fine without headphones but when I plug In my headphones this pops up when I try and start the game
make sure your headphones are selected as the sound device correctly
and that you plugged it in before you try to run (don't plug them in while the game is starting basically)

don't use fdda anims that were disabled, try not to transition spam, there are some alife tweaks for the stutter fix mod, but not really. there are so many causes

ah sorry. i mixed up two things. i meant, busyhands can trigger on specific area transitions (cordon -> garbage at the checkpoint is very common and we don't know why), and also, lots of animation spam/anim cancel spam can SOMETIMES also trigger it

I activated the magazine mod how do i reload
PSU Reactor is broken. Doesn't show up 300\300, goes beyond 300 limit and doesn't accept exobattery charges.
Load mag with bullets, put it in your loadout from inventory (alt + click on mag) and then reload weapon.
you also have to assign a key for reloading in the controls, as the reload key is bound to unjam by default

game keeps crashing anytime i try transitioning from map to map. does it whether i walk through a transition zone, or try fast traveling, or use a guide to bring me somewhere. any help?!? also seems like all enemies (human and mutant) are absolute tanks now since the update taking atleast two 12 round mags of 12 gauge slugs to take down a boar

Only issue I've had with mags is something that I don't think has been fixed in ages but its stupid specific.

I'm not having it and mags is on for me. My issue is that if you use the upgrade kit on the Kar98, it starts using magazines. But since the normal Kar98 can be made to use 7.62 and other ammo types, the magazines are unable to be changed to these ammo types for some reason. So I mostly just avoid upgrading the gun to use other ammo types.
You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

they are just warnings that get printed, but not aren't linked to the crash itself

Hi ! I'm using Mags Redux and there is a key conflit between Mags Redux and the Autolooter. You can use alt+left click to put mags in your loadout, but if you do that while looking at a stash, you will trigger the autolooter (and potentially loot your own statsh with stuff you don't want to dissamble....). I've tried changer the key of the autolooter for something, but couldn't find a key that work... The other option would be to change the shortcut of Mags redux to add a mag to your loadout but I can't figure out how to do that... Any one have an idea on either a good (working) autolooter key change ? Or how to change the key binding related to Mags Redux (in the mod files I guess) ? Thanks !

Why do I have this strange effect in my game? etc.
It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

**Anyone have a super Dumb Dumb way to install HD Models (The ones that everyone loves to hate)?
I have read through the instructions but keep getting a call for a model that is in the MOD itself but for what ever reason GAMMA says "Nope".
Before asked I spent like 8 hours trying to fix it, set it to Priority 32, installed patches, and turned off GAMMA MODS that the instructions say I need to turn off

then the guide is outdated and some mod is modifying the YANTAR .xml file, which sets the visual/voice/dialogues for special npcs inside YANTAR map
in your case, the .XML has set a visual for peregrine with a file path from DUX character kit

fix would be:
either go to the path the game tries to search for the peregrine model and copy and paste any random model (try to grab one that's closes to peregrine faction at least, otherwise you woul end up with a random monolith or bandit model as peregrine) inside the path the game searches for and rename it to the visual ogf it wants
or modify the .XML and where it defines peregrine visual, replace the line with another path that contains a visual .ogf
anyway, search for the pins in this channel, i made a small comment about how to fix those kinds of problems, iirc it was something about a visual in red forest, but just follow the instructions and search for yantar instead of red forest

When the pop up came up I selected Install HD CORE
After the installation I selected HD CORE and set it to Priority 32
Launched the game, started a new game and TP'ed to Yantar HD models on some NPC's not all (Better then nothing).
The file may be missing. Try to copy this file to mods/312- Gunslinger Guns for Anomaly - Teivazcz & Gunslinger Team\gamedata\textures\wpn. Reinstalling the Gunslinger mod would be better
in zip because '#' disappears

red text = multiple mods touch this file, the one listed is the one that "wins" the conflict and usually is the mod that is responsible for the final outcome

your old savefile is looking for something - probably a weapon config - that provided a section defining mags for this basvz61 weapon

I'm running a save that was made back in September, I have updated to 0.9 knowing there will probably problems. Here is only problem so far. My stash along with my hideout stuff is in Dead City, and whenever I try loading into it I get an error (see attached pic).
Here is a list of the extra addons I have active ontop of the 377:
-Body Dots
-Death anims
-Stutter fix
-Pre 10-10-22 save fix
I have tried using the pre 0.9 fix and meatchunk prefetch fix but still solution. I used to run Golden Autumn retexture but deleted it after updating to 0.9

You may not be walking entirely into the anomaly's trigger when you notice this happening. You can get pretty damn close to electros before they go off
I've had some luck resolving some shader comp errors by launching anomaly normally (not through gamma launcher), making a new character, then switching back to gamma.

yeah seemed to be on my end within the downloads in the gamma ddirectory, i had like 7 iterations of atmospherics by hippo. ddeleted them all, unticked all options in installeer other than force zip extraction and fresh installedd again, did project inverno, tweaked the SS shaders etc and seems to be fine now. Check your download folder within gamma apparatnly
Good evening guys. First, thanks for the last updates. It seems that performances and stability made a good step forward. Great work. Then, maybe it was intended like that, but i feel like i still have a problem with mags redux. When looting a dead guy, i always have empty magazines and ammo boxes with some cartridges aside that. Even the magazines we unload from the guns owned by the victim are always empty. I liked when we had to "manually" unload those magazines in order to get some ammo... Is it just me, or maybe it's meant to be like that? Thanks.

from what i can tell, the launcher in this situation may be having trouble generating base anomaly shaders which may be necessary for future shader compilation.
I'm pretty sure that by launching base anomaly it generates those shaders that it's missing.

my loot has been exceptionally good to the point where I think I might be playing a bugged save. My first quest was to loot a stash in the freedom base, and I instantly got advanced tools. There were a few monolith outside the base and they had late game smgs with suppressors. one of them even had gauss ammo.

Is anyone else trying to run Demonized new mod Artefacts Variationizer? I'm running stock Gamma install with 1 extra (Interactive PDAs) and trying to get this mod "working" but it either forces all current and new artefacts to "spawn" condition, I.E. around 14-21% and even if you melt artefacts together they do not keep the new value. On the other hand if you load it at the lowest priority it "works" but does not actually add any variety to the artefacts and they keep the Gamma values.
Got this crash when adding EFPWP weapons mod to gamma on new start, was told you ask here since another similar post was told the same.

It won't delete your save files.

Refer to this. For clarification, disable the GAMMA minimalist HUD mod, then follow those instructions. You want to delete that part of code for the alticons file in the GAMMA UI mod's folder. You will see something like this when you search it.
Look at the properties of each one to see which belongs to GAMMA UI, and then delete the stuff from the message I replied too.

I have an existing save from pre 0.9. I've updated everything and it's all running error free. But I'm getting serious framerate drop and stutters. Starting a new game in the same area doesn't give me any issues. Is there something I can clear/refresh that'll help?
For extra context, I have "Turn this on if you stutter" and "Pre-0.9 Saves Fix" turned on. Have also tried "Meatchunk's prefetcher" (as I have 32gb RAM) and ticked the Prefetch Sounds option in the launcher. The only other mods I've changed are the MAGS Redux related ones.

I managed to fix this by putting EFPWP before Gunslinger in my mod list, BUT it's not 100% compatible. My SR25 icons in my inventory are messed up when I put scopes on it. In my inventory the SR25 turns into a shotgun, but outside the inventory it's still the SR25. I will say that the EFP weapons have a lot of recoil, so I tweaked it a bit in the config file for the weapons I am actively using.

Okay, so I did some testing, since there is this odd after weapon switching delay where guns can't shoot. Like for a second. Got told it's related to fluid aim and should have been fixed. I activated fluid aim just for testing, and now I can shoot while the draw animation still plays, effectively just skipping it.

I have the Square DOV with the Modular Compass Minimap mods installed which looks great but the bottom right is pushing the magazine information nearly off screen it seams.. also just prefer it top left.. if unable its not a big deal but just checking

I cant seem to use MP5 Frasier, I equip it in my inventory but nothing happens when i try to switch to it nothing happens and i am unable to do anything else until i unequip it. It also crashes my game when equipping it if a scope is on it/attaching a scope when its already equipped

Is there any way to dump out my companions' inventory that I can't see? There's a mod in mo2 you can enable called "Companions Inventory Unlock" that doesn't seem to do anything when I enable it, and I'm sick and tired of giving a companion a PKM and have them use a sniper they found instead that I can't take away since it doesn't appear in their inventory. using that specific file in the error and pasting it in the right panel of MO2 you can usually figure out which mod is fucking you up π
yep disabled Darkasleifs one and its fixed, still missing my borders though, also didnt know MO2 could do that
There's almost no PiP scopes that exist in GAMMA sadly, the only ones I know of and can say off the top of my head are the AUG A1, which only has a 1.5x zoom iirc, the AK5C ISG, the tactical SCAR, and one of the dovetail mount optics, which doesn't have any magnification.

what do i have to change to make traders not sell modded weapons? ive ported efp weapon kit into gamma and all is great except for the fact that traders sell the modded weapons
i could just not buy them but id rather not have them at all in there
if you pulled the EFPWP straight from EFP modlist then in mo2 you can hide files in the mod when you double click it, hide files with (mod_ trade_[faction name]_efpwp.ltx). i think but that might mess up current saves.

yo! trying to get a female sound mod to work, do yall have recommendations for one that works with this modpack? i dont want to be goofing around too much with files and breaking anything i dont want to be breaking
i was using the war nymph pack but it seems to have some conflicts, id assume that some gamma mods update hand textures and such and thus conflict with the nymph mod changing the hands of the player character

hey so, i've just updated and for some reason i cannot craft any hideout furniture... like the tab does not exist... i am up to date adn none of my personal mods overwrite anything in the hideout furniture mod at all.... idk what to do TBH?

you have to check the option in the ingame settings that you can see all items your companion has. by default you can only see the items they got after they became your companion

I've gotten a bug on 2 different playthroughs where my game crashes after lukash first offers me the nighttime bloodsucker quest
Anyone know how to possibly fix?
Specifically the crash happens the following day when (i assume) the game is trying to despawn the bloodsucker and I get this error
