i've been here for over a month, still learning about key people
(and landed helper role in such short period of time, fck me)
I am not here as consistently as I am on the anomaly discord. And I took a break from stalker from Halloween to Xmas.
So don't feel bad.
I downloaded the original one and it doesn't work, and also the DLTX version which I don't know which one is just doesn't work, whenever I kill someone they just fall to the ground like gmod ragdolls
my way of installing other mods is: download mod from moddb, put the folder into gamma and then downloads folder, open the gamma installer as administrator then download gamma data and full gamma installation again
I only have two mods not from the gamma modpack installed which is death animations (doesn't work at all) and dux innumerable character kit as HD models doesn't work
also I don't even know if dux's mod even works I don't find that much difference in the models
@proper dagger please tell me that mo2 is still accessable enough in gamma that the above is an unnecessarily complex way to install addons
it probably is, but no one helped me do it I just checked old messages
in order to try do it myself
also dux's mods probably work cause the characters don't look that bad and I'm just now checking that they make the models way better but still keep vanilla look (which myself don't really like and prefer the hd models but it's fine)

I am unfortunately not familiar with the current version of the gamma launcher to tell you the better way. Hopefully @proper dagger has instructions some where
usually if you add any custom mods, you add them through here

I just wanna add more mods like the death animations (especially that one) and just a few more maybe that are compatible with gamma, also I wanna remove some like the blackjack mod which is super annoying to have tbh and the random blurring when eating stuff which I don't quite understand what mod would do that

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

I really loved the mod when I used to mod the game myself

I just installed death animations and it's not compatible with stealth overhaul and it makes the enemies blind, might just disable stealth overhaul as it honestly sucks as a mod
it says it's part of it but if you use death animations (the mod I'm using now) you'll see it either doesn't work or it's a different type of death animations
it's probably also disabled in order to make stealth overhaul work

and yes it's a deal breaker for me as I hate randomly falling ragdolls

Considering how death animations works, and how old it is and who made the mini mod pack I suspect that you have not installed the death animations in mini modpack correctly.
The one in the mini mod pack should have no conflicts with stealth.

Death animations is literally a one line change to the actor config file. The old one carries 1.5.0 version of the actor ltx forward which has minor problems. And stealth changes a different line in the same file causing a conflict.
The DLTX version uses DLTX to just change the one line. No incompatibly, no old data carried forward.
Guys, Quests do not update for me. I defended the pumping station in the swamp and the quest remains. I have found Streloks hideout in the Agroprom undergrounds but the quest remains. Is that a known bug?

Well if the mini modpack version of death animations is in gamma and not working that is a different issue and one i can't help with. I don't use gamma.

Not via console and not at all without scripting and task understanding. And motivation.

I'd double check having all the items and talk to your faction leader before abandoning the save.
With a guide on condlists and the unpacked files you might be able to isolate the info portions (flags) that control the task. And then the scripting is simple enough that it could be done thru the debug menu. Adding and removing info portions is a function each portion

Not a single addon that I am aware of.
I have fixed bits and pieces. Like the guns being messed up in equip slots.
The quick slots hud, the artifact belt hud.

If you have a specific thing I can look at it. Not the entire inventory UI tho, too many addons mess with that.
Continuing looking at it for people that wanna run HD models instead of vanilla, I found a temporary solution finally. Still working out the kinks, but here goes
If you look in Dux's Innumberable Characters Kit, look in gamedata/meshes/actors. Copy that folder into your downloads or elsewhere. Use 7-zip to compress the file, add it to MO2 as a mod, and load it JUST before HD Models (which should, in theory, be at the bottom of the "Visuals" section in MO2).
I'm still looking into which exact meshes need to be grabbed from there, BUT, this has been preventing me from having mesh-related CTDs. Otherwise, Grok's guidance in the #custom-textures section seems to still work just fine with this fix in use. If there's any issues, lemme know please.

is working on an NPC models pack. I looked at it, and it looks damn good.
Dm me screen shots of the parts that bother you the most. If I have an existing fix I send it to you. If I don't maybe you pointing it out will make it bug me enough to make a new fix. No promises.

GAMMA mod is stuttering hard even after i turn on the setting allocated for stutter? How can i run the mod smoothly/decrease settings to aid the smoothness of the game
I have this problem running both vanilla and GAMMA: blackscreen when loading in, I see interface elements (pda, can open inventory, can see weapon, can fire weapon and hear sound etc) but black screen otherwise (the actual view isnt there). I tried troubleshooting procedure :

While in game if everything is black or flickering black and white type in the console:

Have mags redux, unjam, turn on if stutter, mags at traders, and disable music in game enabled on top of the 358 default list. Game will randomly crash the entire PC 30 minutes in or an hour in

So you know what went on, I had a couple of corrupted files lurking about. I ALSO found that several lines in that file in one of my other mods had a semi-colon in front of the config values.

Want to use Autumn Season Redux (Late Fall) seems to be working fine but getting this really bad looking snowfall in certain spots, was there any instructions or guides I missed on this mod? used the discord search and it seems like alot of people are using it just fine, might give inverno a shot since it has actual instructions for gamma but I like the patchy brown dirt and white snow ground alot more

It's a correct log, but doesn't contain relevant crash info.

@whole jungle this log says there is a call back typo in fluid aim, I doubt it is this guy's issue but it might make that addon misbehave in non fatal ways.
And faction prices script isnot loading at all.
This does not happen without the translation?
i didnt test the game without this mod but i have no crash with pnj interraction or in surface just some multiples crash in every 3-5 min on this zone
the log is providing nothing useful. i don't think the translation is the issue. i can't really add much. sorry.
funny bug with Mags Redux, i had 6 30round mags for VSS during warlabs raid, and after a crash i now have only 2 30round mags and 4 20round mags, so most of the ones i had had magically turned into 20 round mags

What's the suggested route to enable English voice-overs?
Is there a setting or disabled modpack already?
In the base games, they used English voice overs by default.
Alternatively, if there's English captions translating what's being said and making it clear who it's translating, that'd work, but I don't see how that'd work in something as hectic as the zone
Copy and paste the dx files in gamma bin to corresponding location in anomaly and it works
@queen badge Unfortuanetly I cannot get to my followers as I went on ahead since they got stuck. I tried running to them and it crashed in the process. Does my log reveal anything specific?
Log does not show much, if your followers are not with you then they can't be the cause of the crash.
I don't really offer support in #🔨modded-gamma-support btw.
Could try finding a place to sleep and sleeping for as long as possible though
Well I managed to get back to them and it didn't crash. I made sure NOT to loot the bandits. I think an earlier person also mentioned crashing in the underground and the cause being bandits

- Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

then i loaded the game in and:
its more laggy
everything is 10x as dark
the health system is fucked
my sensitivity is fucked and i cant zoom in, because when i do it locks it in the zoom level AND ruins the sensitivity (not sure what addon this is, if its an addon, but essentially you press a button it zooms you in)
shit nevermind the health system and sensitivity fixed itself
HOWEVER the world is still ultra dark and it is still more laggy

What is your HW ? Did you something with settings i mean zone population or something ? 🙂 and have you turned CPU 0 when playing ? 🙂

r__no_ram_textures off is default in gamma so try it set on in user.ltx and try turn on game

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

Yes, but it is up to you to make sure they work properly. This is why this channel exists. Simpler mods usually don't cause much issues, especially those that use DLTX.

hey @whole jungle happy new year, sorry for ping but I actually have fixed a super small issue with your HD Models patch, it didn't have bone profiles for actors\stalker_renegade\stalker_renegade_4 and actors\stalker_renegade\stalker_renegade_4a, causing that no bone profile ctd. Added them to the .ltx if you want me to post that here

Completely scrubs old Hip from the game and turns her into character actually worth interacting with. Works with Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2.
Only thing it does for me is change her name and PDA description

so I moved from rc1 to current and one oddity i noticed is the pistol pull out animation theres noticeable disconnect of the hand and pistol like its floating , whats up with that? Only extra mod I have enabled is magsredux, and some minor stuff disabled thats not related to animations.
ok oddly enough the culprit was the starting loadouts module. Turning it off breaks the holstering animation at least for the PM

Find a compatablity patch for it and BHS or remove BHS.
Or run BHS in minimum mode. Load sidhud after BHS in load order. I have been told that can sometimes work.
There might be other addons in gamma that mess with it tho
But sidhud is officially incompatible with BHS and will stay that way until BHS gets updated so that it's scripts don't give me a migraine.

I've skimmed around a ton with search but haven't got a solid answer. I wanted try A Life Warfare for a new playthrough, do I need enable the Warfare patch and disable ZCP? My GAMMA is untouched otherwise par having enabled mags redux but launching into Rookie Village on a new game had roughly 30 Military dudes immediately dogpile the place. Or does the unstable warfare disclaimer mean this is probably going to happen.

Background: I accepted a quest from the CS faction leader to defend pumpstation again. Every time a get close I get a memory read access violation and a CTD and I suspect it happens when the AI is spawned.

Do anyone experience weird lag... spike? Idk how to call it. Like, I have stable 30 fps, then it drops to 10-15 stable fps for 5-20 seconds. Also, could not replicate it consistently. Seems like some weird NPC logic condition loop misfiring. Or at least is not connected with the image render. Logs are clean.

V is for canted sights and all that, you (probably) can't use it for something else
go to settings and bind a key to underbarrel gl, its same key for bas sights
this also means that if you have a gun with bas sights and ubgl, you will cycle through all 3 with same key - and no, you cant change that

idk if people may already asked this, but does anyone have an idea on how to solve this problem: I have FDDA turned on in mod menu and also item usage animation, yet when i try to open the backpack there is no backpack opening animation at all just the zipper sound going straight into the inventory, or when i try to loot a mutant iam stuck in the animation process itself but there is no visible indicator like pulling out the knife to cut it open its completely missing. Medicine works completely fine though, just as food, consumable usage etc. My gamma is completely up to date, its a completely fresh and clean install, iam running it in DX11-AVX option (if this is important) can someone help me pls? i was adviced to ask here

If you want additional animations
Disable Reliable animation settings in MO2... But be warmed, doing so will cause busyhands bug.
Most of the animations were disabled for a reason, so it's not recommended to enable them.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Now my HUD is broken. Character should be at about 50% HP with full limbs HP. Game restart didn't help and pressing H just changes it to some other bugged out version of it.

K98 and it's supressor are incompatible. Both are Forester type.
I think you need the muzzle kit upgrade to fit a suppressor.

I only did it once on an earlier run, before the model retexture but yeah, its a seperate kit i used on the "upgraded" K98 in order to put the silencer on it.

search for .db if any of them are not "unmanaged" tell me what it is

I actually managed to "fix" it by using unga bunga coding. Apparently some function in the _g.script file is getting a nil string when trying to use string_find (triggered by no. 62 being in my inventory), so all I had to do to "fix" it was tell that function to fill in some random value if str is nil

The short answer is that the mod have problems and always will because it's a problematic mod
You can play with it for hundreds of hours and never have problems or crash after five minutes, it's just something that happens
It's not worth it if you play with GAMMA, it doesn't work properly because the mod itself it's not okay

Mags that don't have ammo in them cannot be sold because these are considered broken. Ammo count and item condition values seem to be shared
Have to put one item on the selling side then all mags become available for selling

quit the game and relaunch it.
in mo2 under the launch button is a data tab. search for items_repair.ltx there. it will show you the currently active version of that file, just in case something other than wpo is providing it.

it may be read into the object when it it is spawned, that seems likely based on how it is read from the itme in the code. changing it's max uses won't change it's current uses either. wait for a refresh, or use debug mode to spawn one

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

At sunrise and sunset, if I look at the sun and it is unobstructed, render time increases by 30ms (40fps -> 15fps). It lags even with Reshade turned off

The stupid install thing changes almost every time
That's why we still don't have a proper guide for it
the only really bad icons in gamma are the ones for like crafting items

I use Golden Autumn (the version prev Redux) and i disable Gardener of the Zone, Dead Bushes, and Agressor Reshade and load Golden Autumn almost dead last and that works for me, but i think the Redux is a completely different mod. but idk. figured id throw that out there incase you can glean any info from it.
Is there any specific mod or setting to enable / disable so that guns picked up off of enemies aren't always empty? I kill some guy that was just shooting at me and his gun is magically empty and without a magazine.

hey folks im about 8 hours into a new playthru and after going through a location loadscreen, my health HUD is all red, free zoom hotkey makes my FOV and sensitivity gets perma stuck zoomed in, and i cant use shift to transfer items between inventory and anywhere. if i reload the save all that gets fixed, but my ammo display on the health hud never comes back. anybody have any ideas what is going on?
okay so whatever caused the weird perma zoom actually changes your FOV and sensitivity settings, which i knew, but for some reason it also unticks the show HUD box in UI settings, which explains the ammo counter not showing up. seems like the free zoom mod has some issues
That is a gamma feature. Idk which addon adds it tho.
Its one of several features that keeps me from even trying gamma out.

How can I readd FDDA's backpack opening animation?
still getting crashes after the last hotfix
so i am getting crashes whenever i aim down sights with nightvision on and i tried the fix and it does not work

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

for me beefs nvg says redundent so something may be taking its place making beefs nvg redundent and that was shader scopes... nevermind it still crashes

Whenever loading up a new game my game crashes and gives me this error.

so i reloaded the CTD save the game made, shot the guy again, CTD again. reloaded it again, let my companion kill the bandit, no CTD. looted the bandit, no CTD. wtf why would the game only crash when i shoot him?

Anyone else had this shadow banding issue before /w gamma?
Doesnt show up in my other regular anomaly install. Seems related to the shadowmap since it doesnt happen in complete shadow or fully lit areas, and the repeating pattern frequency increases with the shadowmap size. Has a moire aliasing effect as I move around with the distinct lines popping up at a specific distance from the camera, depending on the angle of the surface to the camera but always facing the same topleft->bottomright direction. Turning the sun shadow off gets rid of the issue, but not a great solution.
Mod list is mostly vanilla GAMMA, just with Hippos shaders and RTGI and the stutter fix.
Tried disabling reshade but no bueno, happens with and without (both toggling in game and when launching the game with the reshade dlls removed)

Turns out, I'd done the Beef's NVG reinstalltion incorrectly. Because I also disabled Enhanced Shaders, I needed to select the option for BNVG that didn't patch either ES or SSR. Did that, deleted shader cache, it works now.

I got the latest sss edition from asci, the one before christmas and I'm using project inverno, but the water is still liquid, no ice, even tho I replaced the normal water textures and files with the custom water/ice textures/files that came with the mod, the .exe too, both of them. Anyone have a clue what's wrong?

Put the moddle file back. Don't remove modles while playing a save.
You could try duplicating and renaming another model but that is risky with modles with moving bots like guns.
Also other files might have been removed as well. Or the file asking for the incorrect model my have other errors.
If you can't reinstall the addon that modles from then it is new game time

could this bugged wild terrirtory stash be the result of a custom mod or is it a default anomaly bug? this is the only stash in my run that's acted weird. the marker is on an empty spot a little ahead of the cross, and the stash in the cross itself is empty. I tried refreshing the game through debug or teleporting to stash. the right click doesn't work on this stash, though it does in other ones
afaik none of the mods i installed should affect stashes but i could be wrong
anomaly has a list of bad stashes. sometimes there are multiple stashes on the same object. if the marker is off then there is probably an invisible stash where the marker is. you may or may not be able to ever get it
oh, darn. i just googled a minute ago, apparently the map near that level transition is sorta bugged and that's why the marker moves around. good to know either way, since i wont bother wasting time with that one
there's a stash near the transtionf grom dark valley to truck cem where the stash is far enough above the cross you need to jump looking at the sky to open it

Your HUD looks strange?:
- Load a save before this bug happened.
- Press Enter on the Numpad (if you don't have a Numpad, turn off HUD in your game settings).
- Press H on your keyboard.
- You should have no HUD now. Try transitioning to a different location. HUD will get re-activated and fixed.

It happens to me as well. Usually just reloading the same save will restore it. I also noticed that while you're in this condition anything you disassemble will simply vanish

Hi all, just curious how to edit other SMG's to be used one handed. I'm editing the weapons .ltx, but changing slot types etc doesn't work. Is there further editing needed elsewhere? Thanks.
This is driving me insane, is there any way to stop helmet overlays from covering the body health hud? You can fix it temporarily by using H but the mask will just cover it again as soon as the helmet is re-equipped, its really irritating having to mash H 3 times every time I eat or drink something.
Rewrite the BHS his to use a proper UI instead of drawing the to the custom static layer which has no layer control with all the other things that get drawn there like the masks
That's the only solution. The UI code is a mess however so I wouldn't hold my breath
At this point ill probably just try making a dirty script that just presses H 3 times whenever a helmet is equipped

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.
To do so:
1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. installer as admin
2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"
In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

i disagree with that bot. my uninstall script, if used properly, will always work. I was very careful of that.
Usually if someone played with mags before, decides to update the game gamma, it will revert back to default modlist with mags disabled
you make it sound like the uninstall script is sketchy. it's not. mags is carefully setup to make that script easy to write (turns out that one isn't the one i wrote but works the same), and 100% reliable. Mags only spawn in response to the player interacting with an NPC, there is no way for one to be spawned while the game is saving and that script runs automatically on save

Guys, does a mod exist, whis allows you to use any scope on any gun? Or at least more scopes on more guns...
Where is the mod manager list? I’m trying to install the text overhaul mod and it says to just drag the folder into the bottom of the list but I don’t know where that is.
The scope on the P90 for example, which is a SpecterDR, loses it's zooming capability as soon as it's mounted. Same on the Ash-12.7. Is there a way to make it zoom?

Lol no. The way guns can have multiple scopes is to make an entirely new gun with each scope perm mounted and swap that for your gun when you attach the scope.
So you are asking for (scopes)x(guns) number of new modles to be made
Scope propertys are not part of the scope. They are part of the variant of that gun with the scope attached. So if two guns have diff stats for the same scope it will behave differently on each.
when you open MO2. the big list of mods it displays is your mod list

the problem seen to come from: 94- Tacticool scopes - jaymorrow, because is the only scope that looks like this in the game

In vanilla you would edit the gun ltx to use a different scope texture.
That addon.is probably similar. You may need to also update something in shader scopes or whatever does the shadow and blurring.

could be that the scope texture is getting overwritten by first pic
like the scope texture for example is called: specterscope.dds
and there are 2 addons that add the same filename but have different textures inside it, you will need to find the name and the latest mod to see which texture it has inside the file
then rename it or delete it

i'm getting this error message everytime i shoot monolith guys at the barrier during the main quest, anyone knows what could be causing the issue? i'm using many addons other than gamma's and i also deactivated some mods, mostly ui and graphical like level textures..
i thought maybe it has something to do with textures and models i've been trying to play with hd models but i couldn't bc i had to create a new save so i stuck with the gamma models, although in the log it says: NPC model doesn't have a bone profile, loading berill no helm config. and then ctd.

i'm still having the same problem, it's very strange, could this error be save-related? i tried killing some mercs in army warehouses and when i shoot some models it throws that same error. tomorrow i will try and see if this also happens on a fresh save.

my mod list is pretty fucked up and not so well organised i think hd models could have something to do with it because i installed them applied the patch and disabled every conflicting character mod, started the game with my main save -> crashed obviously because the save had the old models, created a new save to see if it worked, it worked -> reverted any change in the mod list to how it was before hdmodels to continue my old play through and now this happens everytime i shoot someone with a certain model i think

alright thank you i will try again tomorrow with some trial and error but i’m quite sure this save is probably gone, messing with mods during a playthrough is not the best thing to do so i probably deserved this one 
I had an all default mod list, except for the mod that highlights new items. The person from the default mod list claims that it could be the issue. Some notes; the game crashes when I reload a save after dying, and its consistent, 100% of the time it crashes. It happens in red forest, also may be worth mentioning that the bug that changes your FOV and Sensitivity occurs before I reload the save when you use MB5 to zoom in while aiming in.

It's not new item highlight. If my word on that isn't enough for them NIH is 100% safe to uninstall so you can do that and not be "custom" and get the crash again.
I don't know what is causing the crash but it is t NIH.

How do you read the crash log? Is the relevant info top or bottom?
Verification will ALWAYS say corrupt files even if your game runs fine, it is because gamma uses patched files
Both, depending on what your issue is, usually the reason for the crash is at the end though (whatever comes after FATAL ERROR)
Thanks. There's no fatal error in the log, a bunch of missing sounds and dltx errors, but from mods that had been running fine for weeks now. Gonna reload and see if it was just an xray moment.

Saves are stored in the Gamma folder, so you can just copy over a backup
(In fact I'd recommend it, there's a few severe bugs that can corrupt your whole shit)
while attempting to get Simplied UI to work, I reinstalled DLTX to only have Full Upgrades... I think thats causing CTDs... is there a list of what should be enabled for DLTX minimodpack? Excuse me, but if I disable a mod in the list, why its script is still executed?! I disabled the #154 mod named "RF Receiver Tasks - Tweaki_Breeki", but playing the game I still have a crash with the error related to this mod:
"tb_rf_receiver_packages.script:1026: attempt to index local 'se_obj' (a nil value)". I think because this mod is not compatible with 1.5.2).
How is that the script still runs after disabling it? What am I missing?

could be in a patch. under the mo2 launch button is a data tab search for the name of the script there. it will tell you what mod has the script.

Basically, people don’t install HD models patch, so the script tried to open a section that doesn’t exist in my capture file. What’s weird is that it should fallback to a given default section
@whole jungle so i think i know what the problem was, since i realised after installing hdmodels that i could not play with it mid-save (i had hd models gamma patch installed), i reverted all the modlist changes but what was causing the error was your GBOOBS BWRR Patch that i had configured to patch hd models and then forgot to reinstall and untick hdmodels patch.

I fucked up my ZCP settings. How do i restore them without resetting everything else? i have an unfucked backup of the mod but reinstalling it doesn't change the settings in MCM.
i think that you can set the default values for the addon in mcm, just click on zcp in mcm and then reset.
I know gbo has fallbacks and it said it was falling back then failed, that is what threw me.
Replace the corresponding lines in axr_options.ltx in your MCM Values addon

The data tab will tell you mod. Uncheck it to disable it.
My army warehouse truck cemetery entrance isn't working
I tried teleporting to it with pda but it just puts me on a specific spot on the ground with no visual changes or actual transition
It works when i directly teleport to a spot already in the cemetery (though if i just press teleport on the other end of the marker on cemetery, it'll load the level, then load again and put me back into army warehouses)
Newest mods i added are bas updates, a weapon pack and some texture packs
I remember being able to use the entrance before. Is there a transition mod i can reinstall?
Even the marker is wonky on the minimap, it keeps changing distance as I look around with my character and i can't manually get into the spot

@primal bramble from your question in #╙🖇mods-making-discussion, yes you can revert that change and no, it is not stupid. Gamma is built around the fact, that you can't buy weapons and armor, but if you really want to change it you can use !vanilla in #🤖bot-commands and follow the instructions
However, I would really heavily recommend not doing that for the first 10 or so hours you play, just to get a feel for the system. It is actually really fun like this
I wholeheartedly agree that it is fun, it just kinda breaks my immersion a bit as one would think that weapons and gear would be extremely valuable in a place like The Zone. I can certainly live with the absence of the feature though.

Huh, turns out the transitions are broken specifically on my current saves. Anyone know if there's a way to disable fast travel causing hunger and thirst? Will probably just use that for the rest of the run for when i run into such transtions
