Its in the mags folder that you downloaded
should be GAMMA\mods\Anomaly Magazines Redux\gamedata\configs\items\settings
so the mods folder then select what i named the new mags redux as got it

Some guy had the same crash as you earlier and we told him to update to see if it fixed it, he hasn't been back since so I'm guessing it worked? You could try that
im not doing an true ironman run but i am trying to go through with 1 life to practice. And i just got barrier done without dying, many close calls but now i gotta do it again

Nah not really. You could turn off "206- Areas transition without confirmation (smoother gameflow) - Tom_Sharikov" which might help you reach some of the bodies without accidently traveling.

ah, yeah i tried that, can't loot while in that mode, and when i press enter to teleport there, it triggers the travel. I manage to get 1 body cause it didn't travel me for some reason but 10 attempts after that i couldn't get to them. Took my losses, i manage to get the 1
Not sure if it's something that can be looked at by any the modders/devs but there were a LOT of monolith that died back there, i was just trying to get to the RPG guys.

Well dead air and inverno are 2 completely different things. Dead air is a stalker repack, like anomaly. Inverno is a winter mod for Anomaly.

It's pretty bad, wouldn't recommend. Frequent crashes, bugs, and performance issues.

You can find it in #custom-textures , but I recommend you use Graupel instead. It's better IMO

Hey guys, I have a question regarding the reload/unjam button. Im using the MagsRedux mod and ammo check mod additionally. When I try to reload, it goes to a 'unjam' animation rather then actually reloading the gun. My mags are added to loadout. I can't reload any of my guns, just unjam them.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

Hey guys whats the quickest way to attempt to fix my hud? Last time i had a gamma install i think ud was visible was ticked in settings, but then this latest one it wasnt ticket. Problem is i cant see my status icons or toggle my minimap or see companions. So i turned it back on. But now for some weird reason the ammo icons and mag icons, or at least mags icons are fully visible. Even tho i have the mod enabled and set as it should be to hide the icons and check ammo etc. I also made sure to follow the steps in the !mags command which i believe wanted me to make sure i had the ammo check on same key mod disabled. (i did that before making my latest save)

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list to make sure everyone has the same things, everything goes back to default when you update or you do a complete installation, it's normal.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
hey fellas, I just installed Autumn: Golden Autumn Redux, but its replaced my main menu and loading screens. anyone know if I can have this mod installed, but keep everything else GAMMA?
Remove the menu textures and cfg
If its a .db file then you Will have to unpack them AND remove those files, then you decide if you want to repack it again (turn them into .db again) or leave and load them through mo2 as loose files (could weight a lot)
its just a regular zip file from google drive
so I guess I have to just delete and re zip
i remember unpacking deadzone 7gb to remove some leaves textures and it turned into 25gb loose files

i think theres a bot command regarding help my games too dark it says u can use gamma and exposure in console commands to change it a bit
i found for me that using reshade helped because it gives me a lot of effects and controls. I even prefer disabling all SSAO stuff AA stuff DOF stuff and something else i think, so that i can run it more efficiently via reshade
alternatively i think if u look at the info for the screen space shaders and enhanced shaders mods via right click in MO2 and view on moddb u can find some more intricate settings things to mess with that might help, but the files wont be in there ull likely want to mess with the gamma cumulative shaders settings since thats overwriting stuff in enhances and in SSS

ah yeah that might help u wanna keep the shader stuff on, u can modify their settings, ull also wanna make sure u check what conflicts are happening cuz like i said the gamma cumulative shaders are doing stuff

i recently reinstalled gamma cuz all my shader settings went outta whack from all the tinkering i had done without realizing i had other mdos doing things to those settings and stuff

I think you have to press the Home button once you're inside the game then Click on GAMMA Shaders.ini then there will be an Option there that says Agressor.ini. Click that then you'll be using the Agressor shade in game
Go to moddb and download the reshade. The one in gamma doesn't work

So the Next GAMMA Update will remove the Disabled Mods? Can we instead put those Disabled Mods at the very bottom? Unless it is really necessary to remove them then. I do use some of those like the Blindside Knife Animations and Headlamp Animation Fix. And I've never got any bugs.

Hello, apologies if this is a repeat question but I tried to find an answer via search, and also tried !hud& disable reanable hud, and relaunch. With melting winters enabled , sometimes I get this HUD bug that causes the hud to not work, as well as my PDA map to not display icons corrrectly; Usually reloading save fixes it but for whatever reason I can't get it to fix this time around. Has anyone encountered this issue?

The headlamp animation fix work really for me as well. I hope they leave some of those mods or even fix them if they're really buggy. In my case I've never gotten any bugs at all

Headlamp fix was disabled because instead of fixing the headlamp it instead required the user to hold down the key to have the lamp on

My headlamp animation without it is teleporting my arm all the way to my head, it's buggy. That mod Fixes it and it doesn't cause any more bug

But it appears that NPC's no longer attack. I know it's for 1.5.1, but it seems to work aside from the fact that NPC's no longer attack me or my companions. It does appear that if you get into melee range, they will hit you and THEN start shooting.

Hey, I've suddenly had issues with a bug that ctd's the game whenever I reload a magazine-fed weapon. I'm assuming it has something to do with Mags Redux (I installed the recommended replacement to the version in the modpack) but I haven't started having this issue until just recently. hi all, anyone knows why head and torso hp are going down with no apparent reason? i've tried eating/drinking untill full, not irradiated, psy health is fine, no bleeding, still every now and then both health bars go down. Seems like by 1 hp at a time

Any ideas why the mutants sometimes are "fixed" in place? Saw it in my game and in a video on YT by accident.
The only additional mods I have enabled are the ones to support mags redux. Ive been narrowing down my issue over several days and it is as follows. Once i sleep for the first time in a given play through instead of dying like normal i instead drop a stash on death and respawn at the last place i slept. Unfortunately this got even more fucked on one run and i was full stop unable to die.
I just wanna die like normal and load a save why is it like this

EFP has some sights for both picatinny and dovetail. idk where in EFP that mod is located but if you guys have any idea how I can port more compatible sights to GAMMA that would be great

yes it does. Its just that in EFP they have sights like the OKP availible in both. its really the only sight I like on the Saigas but its alright if I have to use something else. I have been able to port a couple EFP to GAMMA and GAMMA to EFP things as long as I know whats in it. I may have to ask the EFP discord

I noticed the zoom for scopes breaks sometimes. Have to take the scope off the gun and reattach it.

- Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.

So i recently set up a new install of gamma and anomaly so i could make sure all my settings are completely vanilla without modifying old settings. I then ported over a small selection of the settings i care about manually
however what was working before was my ammo checker mod hiding the ammo hud icons and the mag icons from the mags mod
for whatever reason on the new install (i probably editied something wrong) even with the mags and ammo check jam mods etc setup how the command tells me to
now i have the ammo and mag icons on in my hud even tho i have the hide ammo boxes checked in the check ammo mod

nobody knows, best advice would be to put it last in order in MO2 for it to have higher priority above all, and if it shows conflicts, then use 'WinMerge' and compare each file of the latest overwritten mod affected by the one you added and see if you need to make any merge

open the debug mode and check, give yourself the aug para. Then eject the magazine and you will know

think it this way. If you have lots of mods and you want them to work together you'll need to make some changes in the files, load order, configs, etc.

If a mod gets updated, nothing assure you that the updated version will work fine with the current mods you have. You need to test it first, and since mods are updated constantly, is hard to keep the "modpack up to date"

It depends of what are you changing, for example, one thing is change a gun that GAMMA doesn't affect with the current modlist, or change a weather configs. Other is to change game modes that aren't supported yet or activate mods that are in the Disabled tab in MO2

if the mag doesn't have an icon don't worry. you need to update the mod only. Your gamma install is ok as far as I know

Ive basically adjusted my settings down a bit for shadows and things in the in game settings. Can we just add them to the mod loader and all should be fine or do we need to first ensure they don't have any conflicts? also check for readmes in the mods files always too, ppl like putting those in sometimes without much info about it and it has crucial info in it on top of that usually too

The new anomaly mods channels just shows new mods posted, not if they'll work with gamma at all
Okay sweet, will have a separate section to keep track just incase they do cause issues I can find them quickly and disable them. But will go through the readme files and check if they compatible or not (I know that some say compatible with gamma RC 3.2 so those should be fine - it's the ones that don't say). Yeah i made a gamma custom separator to keep track of mine. Thinking im gonna wanna set up a new profile or maybe even an entire diff install to test things on once ive dialed in this set of mods and custom changes ive done to stuff like configs and scripts
i just made the pda like a thousand times better for myself via modding the closer 3d pda addon from moddb
took way too long but well worth it 😄
i also discovered as long as im changing things that dont involve shaders or massive sweeping changes i can even use debug to more quickly test config changes or script changes

Just copy whatever file you edited and recreate the folder path in the mcm setting mod and it will overwrite whatever file is in the pda mod
This really only applies to edits made to mods that are included in gamma and will get overwritten when updated
even tho the pda mod is getting priority of the mcm settings? thats not how priorities typically work for modding in other games? only making sure about this because im still not used to the fact that priorities are like backwards when modding for this game as opposed to other games i think
Just move the mcm settings mod lower then whatever you want to overwrite

im so used to modding for other games where ppl say move things up the list higher on the list to have it take priority over other mods or at least overwrite stuff from lower mods, threw me for a loop a couple times on here, still does i guess 🤣
bear in mind some mods will break your game if they are removed (i.e mags redux) so be prepared to revert to your current save if you don't like the new mods
and a few can only be used on new games, but very few
ah yeah ive been super lazy about that and just dealing with the bugs usually, at least when im tinkering a bunch and i know that a if i see a bug i should just revert the save then, just cuz lazy, but yeah im well aware cuz my 1st big save was an anomaly non gamma save that i ported over and oooo boy it had so many bugs, didnt dare post like 99% of em in here tho 😄

I think I've found a bug, I'd appreciate it if someone else can also confirm it. After all of your companions die in a storm (in my case 2 since I did not have the achievement), option to recruit a stalker disappears. I've also spawned hundreds of lone stalkers to see if I could recruit to no avail (all lower rank than me and I have excellent rep). This issue also happened to @marsh wagon and @teal timber . Could be related to NPCs Die in Emissions for Real addon.

If I remember correctly, for there is anoption for Trader overhaul to make it so the guns they sell are more beat up, which I feel would strike a nicer balance with the rest of what the pack has going on - if I wanted to do that How should I go about replacing the packaged trader overhaul with the one that has that option?

guys how do i enable the mutant skinning animations ? I've had it before last update but now i can't find it in ingame options

Is weapon editing locked in GAMMA or am i just not doing it correctly? I'm trying to change the mag-size of a gun through debug menu, but after i edit the size, and press apply nothing happens.
It's not recommended because it can give you the "busy hands" bug in the current GAMMA version

Is there an Updated version of Dynamic Mutants now that is compatible with Anomaly 1.5.2 and GAMMA? Would the one in Moddb right now work? It looks really cool, the mod has Mutated Horses and Wendigo among other mutants. That would be a nice addition to GAMMA.

Debug menú doesnt work by default even un vanilla anomaly, you need a addon called hud dragged editor, read its description and you will see a Lot of info on editing gun hud values

I know how to recognise when i get the busy hands and it's really rare getting the bug too. for the last 100 hrs in GAMMA i've played with it and didnt get busy hands even once.

use 'WinMerge' and compare GAMMA Reliable animations settings and FDDA addon in the modlist in MO2 and see the files they conflict

you could try the dark signal modpack for the sounds, if you like them you could extract and then put into your gamma modlist

Hey I need some help fixing the M82
I already added the .50bmg mag, changed it to using .50bmg, etc. But I can't remember where to find the right models and sound for the silencer
I know I played with some mods that had it and I don't remember if it used the KZRZP or had it's own, but it worked and had a silenced sound effect and the silencer modelled on the end after the muzzle brake
In Gamma the model doesn't appear with the KZRZP attached and it doesn't play the sound when firing with the silencer
I know it's also using the SVD upgrades/tree in Gamma though and I don't remember if that's normal
I just need the resources for it so I can port them over

yeah that doesnt tell me much, and since i dont know exactly what you added or removed that doesn't narrow down the cause much more than an incorrectly setup animation or missing animation
get close to the specified area and take out the device that you were given then wait around and let the bars fill up until you get an update
depending on your elemental defenses you might take damage

Had this issue multiple times. It seems like something sets their personal relationship to you to hostile. I was only able to fix this by using debug mod and manually change their status.

I've had this happen as well. As far as I can tell I accidently shot some Loners at long range thinking they were bandits.
I've 100% not shot anyone as I only just finished the killing boars quest for Fanatic, this is the second time, I wiped my other character because I was getting blasted by everyone 😂

I also didn't shoot anybody the two times it happened to me. This seems to be a random bug in Anomaly.
First you have run the anomaly launcher and tick the debug menu button.
Not entirely sure if you have to run this through the mod organizer but I would do that. Then you can load your save file and open debug menu with F7. Press I to go invisible mode and go up to the hostile NPC. You adjust their relationship and remove your invisiblity. Should be fine after that.

if you are in the debug menu it should be self explanatory. You have to look at an NPC to interact with them.

stuff like weight, velocity and distance changes how much those things effect the players ability to stay hidden

No problems at all. Everything went smooth afterwards. I did kill somebody in front of 2 freedom members once and didnt realize it at the time. Did the same thing there and everything was fine.

but that should be all
What's even worse is you disabled gboobs and left the patches enabled
I don't use HD models, you are going to have to ask someone who knows 🤷♂️

The guide probably isn't up to date and HD models is know to cause crashes with gamma
So there is no way to enable them?

I mean you disabled something under high priority without knowing much about modding. You're bound to break things
there is probably no real way to determine , what actually causes these crashes, so ill just stick to the normal gamma, even tho it sometimes annoys me

You can install the mod multiple times and just check the mod you want and then rename it

Hey guys i think posting this here is best cuz i have a custom mod list? Anyways im getting this errors in the MO2 log saying failed to write to mods blah blahh with an error, i didnt even notice it was happening before too. Are these something to be concerned with or ignored or?
