How different is the Vector from ModDB compared to the new GAMMA one? I got the DLTX one and it seems like I can't use the GAMMA one
Any idea how can i achieve higher stalker population? For example i am used to kill atleast 5-7 bandits at vehicle station, but now there's only 2 of them

The gamma vector is miles better than the one on moddb but that one has two separate weapon models. You probably don't see the gamma one if you have the dltx version loading after it because the gamma one uses the same ltx name as one of the ones in the moddb version
okay so idk what it is but since i got the 2.0 update of bhs, it's completely reverting to the vanilla health system when i run with my medical overhaul
i've tested literally everything except backdating to 1.6.7 atp, no idea what to do?
after extensive trial and error i have determined that if the zzz_player_injuries.script is overwritten by anything at all, even the EFT styled medical interface, (big health menu ui) it will revert to the original health system, but keeping the ui setup for bhs if you're using the smol hud native to bhs, thus making health and stamina invisible

you can have both, but you shouldnt use a global instance of mo2 and you need 2 separate anomaly folders

Use the github version of Lootboxes rather than the outdated ModDB one. There's also a patch that removes vanilla weapons from the loot-pool & replaces them with Gamma weapons: #🖇old-mods-posting message

Is there a way to get Ammo Check to display the ammo type as well as the fuzzy load value (nearly full, etc)? Can't see that option in the MCM. I know mags has/had it, but I'm not using mags.
The github version of mags lets you install ammo check separately, try installing it via their installer
Well..Good newws.....After a full reinstall, and i mean full, game data update and redownload of mods and stuff. I've managed to restore my game to working condition. Still no idea how it happened or why.

Last log entry after removing/placing artifact in a secure container causing a crash
My game has started having anomaly.exe crash issues when trying to load previously working saves. Any save I load my body health system is completely empty with temp health in all the limbs, I can't do any actions (use healing, reload, etc). And if I try and load another save without exiting the game first and restarting it freezes and crashes with a memory allocation error. All I did was updated GAMMA with the most recent update, nothing else. How do I go about bug fixing this?
had any mods beside the one pre installed with gamma?
Just these few minor ones, and they've all been in the save for 30+ hours with no issues.

Something's wrong with these mods
I've rerun a full install of GAMMA and it hasn't made any difference. I'm currently reinstalling Anomaly, and failing that I'll try rolling back to a save from a few hours back and see if it loads correctly or not.
The only thing I can think that may have a bearing on this is that I tried out a couple of alternative ammo count mods (one included with MAGS latest from GitHub, and a slightly older one from moddb/git). The latter messed with the ammo HUD widget and had translation files, and I noticed messed up localised strings (slept for message, for example). I removed the mods, re-enabled Ammo Count in GAMMA, and rolled back to a save from before any of them had been tried out. My only thought is that something has been written to file somewhere, and even with the mods deleted some remnant is hanging around and messing shit up?

im having some doubts with the particles (im using particles cinematics vfx 3.5 botz yawm): bullet impacts generates dark squares instead of idk particles like dust/sparkles and when a headshot lands it basically shoots out red "tentacles" instead of normal blood, never seen this happening before. Anyone may have experienced this before?

I figured out my crash the recent update introduced this fix: neg psy resist arti fix it isn't working correctly with it applied my body health system doesn't display correctly and I can't reload without crashing with the fix removed my body health system displays correctly

Well, shit, after almost 400 master\legend still no ASH. Pretty sure something ain't right with it's spawn function.
Also mod adds 4 weapon kit modifications to traders, but only 2 works so far. Weird as well.

Mods under the G.A.M.M.A Disabled category are disabled for a variety of reasons: compatibility, performance, bugs, busy hands, etc. DO NOT ENABLE THEM FOR ANY REASON.
After reading this you'll probably ask: "But why are those mods there if you can't activate them?". Because G.A.M.M.A. as a whole is STILL IN BETA, and no, Grok can't simply remove them. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.
And you'll also ask: "What about the other disabled mods that aren't under the "Disabled" category, then?". Don't enable them if you don't know what you're doing. Ask in #🔨base-gamma-support before doing anything.
DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST, they're disabled for the same reasons written above. If you use them, forget about #old-bugs or #🔨base-gamma-support, don't use these two channels. Use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

It's because GAMMA is modular (within limits) and you always can find someone that use/don't use specific stuff

Well, normal ASh spawns on military and they do still drop it. This one however doesn't and i'm not that advanced into modding to tweak anything outside obvious things :P

Check that you have all the mod 265 files, because I can tell you the fix for that is literally the mod just checking if you are in cover. Literally 4 words, that don't interact with bhs at all
well I don't know what to tell you mate removing it fixed my problem it may not be applying to artis properly that were there before the patch

easy made a copy of file undid the edit from the file

It was causing BHS to not display correctly no health in bar partially damaged limbs or completely broken limbs it was random each time it was also not allowing me to save or load without crashing

Yeah thats usually the case and is a known issue with some extra mods.

you are right the problem seems to have happened after the psystorm when entering zaton because any saves I load before that are fine I can save and load the bhs ui works correctly any saves after the psystorm are bugged messed up bhs ui can save but not load I'm not entirely sure what is causing this
Ok. So that makes more sense. My assumption in that case would be most likely you took damage during that storm due to having a negative psy resist on you but now the game thinks you shouldn't have. Or the psystorm killed someone that messed up xray

It shouldnt. I tested it through 30 psy and emissions each in different maps and flipping it on and off with different artifacts, specifically to avoid gamebreaking you guys. If you do have issues let me know. But honestly you shouldn't. It literally just says hey if the player is in a safe building don't hurt them lol
And it should be friendly with any other mods as it doesn't call anything that wasn't called before

Not so far, no one else has had any issues tbh. That's more why I was surprised than anything. Now is it possible an extra mod in conjunction screws something up sure. But there would have been a riot if everyone's saves were broken

You honestly have to be careful with those as sometimes getting rid of guns can mess stuff up. That one I would get guidance from someone more knowledgeable than me

anyway I did some testing with your fix enabled I sat through psystorm in zaton then after it I saved loaded no issues I teleported to skadovsk where I first noticed the bug I saved I loaded still no issues so perhaps it was a bugged emission? I have noticed when I sleep sometimes it says emission occured recently but it will still play the start of an emission I think this may have tricked xray into thinking there was still an emission in zaton when there wasn't

yep xray can be a pain at times
the thing I have noticed with xray is that if a psy storm or emission is somehow bugged then xray will think its still happening in any saves in that particular area only saves done before any events won't be bugged this is why only my auto save isn't bugged

Mags is kinda 50/50 we mostly help in vanilla with it, but if it's super mags deep then it goes here

Yeah. Technically it's not vanilla as that's the default 329, but as it's super popular as long as it's an easy fix and not all mags issues we usually help.

No. Vanilla gamma is the load order it comes with enabled by default. Alot of the others will be removed with 1.0 most likely as there are mods that cause issues or don't work.

Now most of the time if not super busy, and the mod isn't an issue plastered all over of don't turn this on. We will help. But if we can't resolve it and it works fine with the default 329 we will usually say to come here.

Yeah. It has its issues, and is often misunderstood so we attempt to clear it up. Unfortunately it's hard to both keep modularity but also have a dedicated this is 100% working list.
as it turns out most problems I get stem from xray itself my custom lists work without major issues so far most of them are pretty simple mods though
Yup xray just does what it wants regardless of what anyone tries to tell it XD sometimes. People like you I don't mind providing some help but we occasionally get people who try to add another 100 mods ontop and then fill support channels with it doesn't work

If only more people did this. Although honestly I end up getting too lazy to load my test saves halfway through and end up just using my playthrough, or I'm playing and someone reports a bug and I just live patch my client XD
ha ha I watch youtube playthroughs and have seen many youtubers brick their saves 😛 so I always test mods first and always use proper save method ie quick saving while playing and making my own save based on what area I'm in at the time when I stop playing
i added Flora REDUX and i think it may be causing issues with the distant foliage etc

yeah this is why I only enable smaller extra mods or those in #🖇old-mods-posting and I always test them in a new game not on my main character you never know what may go wrong

Howdy! Is there a way to change the keybinds for Beef's NVG? I wanted to change the M key for something else, but have zero clue on how to do it.. Or just be able to reconfigure the whole keybinds in general.
try changing regular nvg bind in controls
the M key is used for scope NVG
normal NVGS are holding N
some of them are included in the settings or the mcm, others arent

@gritty reef for npc can loot, have you thought of cloning the stolen stash elsewhere? Instead of dropping the loot, the thief would drop a stash location, and you'd have to find the stash. Instead of him carrying the content around and having to track all of this in-game through a moving npc, also solving logical issues of weight limits.

It's literally a QoL added to remove the constant right click > unload, why you want that back?
only fix I know of, is to download MAGS redux from github and install that instead of Gamma MAGS redux
It's controlled by the npc_mag_loadouts
They're all set to 0. You can set the value to whatever you want to get ammo in mags again
It's because i'm using expanded skill system and mag skill are leveled by both unloading and loading mags.

I couldn’t find anything about it yet but with the Kriss injected into a custom modlist what controls the scope textures? Mine are just boxes on every compatible scope.

I would highly advise to not run mods directly out of a git repository. I would manually install them via MO2 and place the archive in the GAMMA downloads folder. A - They are coming out of a read/write restricted folder, and B - you have very little control over changes unless you are managing the push/pull of the repository.

Gamma isnt supporting Warfare at all. A lot of disabled Mods are just not cleared from the MO2 list right now but will be with 1.0 release. I'd assume the warfare stuff will be gone then too. it's very unstable and doesnt work very well

that is under gamma fixes
when you try to install the archive it will show you the mod's structure. all you need to do is right click the main file (the one that is called main file or something and has a gamedata folder in it) and click "set directory" or something along those lines. the window should say in the bottom that it recognizes it in green text. then install it
then when it's in the mod list you right click it > reinstall and do the same but for one of the optional folders (has to have a gamedata folder) and install and choose merge when asked to
i believe you do that individually for every part of the mod you need. when thats finished make sure to drag it before Enhanced Shaders (under visual) and disable Agressor reshade in MO2.

ok "solved" i write this because it can be useful for others. My solution: debug mode and, with debug menu open, pres"I" so enemies don't attack. Solve any question in the base, then leave, safe and reload without debug mode. Idk if in the future there will be need to do this again or if it solve automatically

It seems that ZCP configuration is our way to play warfare... I have a stable game whit W A-life mod (normal speed preset) + gamma warfare patch. It's like vanilla GAMMA. I just can't make the mutants spawn. Does any of you could configure ZCP to mimic gamma vanilla mutants spawning in warfare?
World is very dark after updating, i didn't disable any graphics mods from mo2 only Gamma Economy and campfire saves etc. I also deleted the shader cache, any ideas?
Also worth mentioning that i untick everything in the reshade menu, however enabling them doesn't fix anything
I've got this weird ass bug with the terrain/ ground textures. They seem to be warping under my player character. Only happens outside. Custom mods I have are graupel, project INVERNO and YAWM. It doesn't even look like it's the textures only, it actually looks like the terrain itself is being pushed down.

99% of guns do not have super detailed ammo check animations, or malfunction clearing animations

Disable It and the weapon Will inspecy by hiding it and appearing again
The only weapon that actually had a ammo check animation is the vssk released today
The rest will only hide and reappear the weapon

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete the save.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following: interact with objects or people, use a weapon, open your inventory, drink/eat/sleep and so on.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack
- Skinning of mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects

ive used busy hands and it didnt give me any issues, also ive seen a guy who plays GAMMA use it as well

My assumption is its possible the gun cover mod is detecting collision with a wall or object and causing the gun to move.
im pretty sure it has something to do with detecting npcs because hvering over the same spot where an npc was doesnt unscope.

It shouldnt. But HD models is pretty buggy on gamma as its not patched for 1.5.2 and the gamma patch is not up to date

oh yea it was the gamma files download, i had to delete the gamma mods that got downloaded from git, everything else was fine.

If you mean like This faction owns this map, no not in story mode. If you mean like spawns are randomized, items, loot, stuff like that yes. And you dont have to actually do the story if you dont want to.
Yes, but they cant take territory. Like freedoms base will always be in Army Warehouse. But they do kill the crap out of each other if hostile, and they can still go to war. As far as faction if you are new to anomaly in general, or to gamma I always recommend Loner in Rookie village. I would also recommend if you haven't reading #│📚manual as GAMMA systems are different than anomaly or stalker.

Nope. Story characters wont respawn, but eventually the randoms will be replaced with new ones with different names and gear.

So thats you "experience" level which is separate from faction standing. For faction standing (which affects what they will sell you, and how you will be treated) you simply do missions for them. Rank is more of an evaluation of your skill and experience. Effectively as there is "no respawn" the answer is kill people, do missions play more.
I am having a slight issue : I love how Gardener of the zone look BUT the grass render distance is very short no matter how much I push the sliders (the FPS hit is still real for some reason)
In the screen, you can see the grass stop to render after ~10m in front of me, leaving the ground very bare. Tried in different areas (Agroprom here), but the issue remain.
I have no other addons modifying the textures except GTR and Autumn desaturated tree mod. Deactivating them both doesn't change anything

Does anyone know what I would need to do if I want to raise/lower the price of specific items at traders? I want to raise the price of ammo and some other items without changing the price of food and stuff. I'm sure there's a file somewhere I can edit but there's so many mods with dependencies with each others that I'm almost afraid to touch anything. I've noticed this once, seems like the grass, even with big render distance, spawns only when the player gets close.
I have two theories
- the first one is: based on how gardener of the zone works in Radiophobia, the grass get drawned very far away, and in other stalkers (compared with Anomaly), the grass is also displayed more tridimentional (in Anomaly the grass is really a "paper sheet", in one angle you see it, in the other no), a screenshot just to illustrate how it works in radiophobia
And the other theory is that the grass texture (the main one) has too much "holes", in stalker grass behaves like a piece of paper, throught the graphical software (Photoshop, gimp...) you must tell the game "where to cut" this papers, since the main one has so much holes, in distance it disappears...
In the next update im gonna try to fix this

I think the grass in Gardener has something wrong with it's LOD models. My proof of theory is to decrease r__tf_mipbias to about -2.0 (though it will absolutely tank your fps and be aliased as hell) it shows the grass isn't showing LOD models properly

hey there dudes, i have an issue with my stalker that my mouse doesnt get captured from the game, means i get out of the game with my mouse on my second screen by accident and click out of the game when fighting
Shot in the dark here, but try switching from borderless windowed to fullscreen

Only other thing I can think of is to change from windowed back to Fullscreen. Change resolution to something else then back to your normal resolution. Or try restarting computer

Hello. Hopefully this is the place to ask this, if not, I appologize. Where can I change the number of belt slots on the Ecologist Exosuit? I looked in mo2 in a lot of files but I cannot find this specific file. Thank you.
The outfit files are under "...configs\items\outfits". You will not find them in MO2 of GAMMA because it does not overwrite those files. I attached the basefiles as a "mod" which you can install with MO2, since the basefiles are not altered position inside MO2 is irrelevant because it does not conflict.
You have to change "artefact_count" inside the file for the suit you want to change the artefact count, you can see the suits name which the files uses inside the debug menu of the game.
or you could alter the "mod_system_items_armors_br_class_rework.ltx" inside of "G.A.M.M.A. Actor Damage Balancer" and just add "artefact_count = [NUMBER YOU WANT]" to the correct outfit since it is a DLTX file and has all the outfits inside. The only problem is that an gamma update could change your changes.

G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

I'm having a fatal error thats occuring when I shoot certain zombie models. I have HD models and Dux running. Followed the instructions in additional-mods for activating HD but had to reactivate Dux because loading into Rostok was giving a fatal error while trying loading voronin.ogf which HD doesn't have. Anyone ever have a similar issue?
Are you running Dux and HD models at the same time ? 
Its the only way to get into Rostok without crashing. Tried running HD on a fresh GAMMA install but I still get the fatal error for a missing voronin.ogf file.
I worked fine for 3 or 4 days until I found this one zombie that CTDs me.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you completely fucked your save.
Never install/uninstall Dux or HD models mid-game

Probably. Thats not a terribly big deal. The issue I'm running into is even if I configure GAMMA for HD on a fresh install, delete the entire GAMMA + Anomaly folder and start from scratch with no Dux at all I still get the Voronin.ogf missing error.
GAMMA doesn't really support HD Models in the first place to be honest.
any idea what mod in the list is referencing the voronin file?
And yeah, I feel like I might have been lucky getting it to work near flawlessly for 3ish days XD
This file is only being affected by Dux afaik in vanilla Gamma
Did you start a new game after activating HD models or did you continue an existing save ?
Like I said, I've done it on a completely fresh install. Still get errors related to Dux
The issue you are having is that HD is not built for 1.5.2 or for all of the new quest lines, some NPCs have new IDs in 1.5.2 and are missing models that dux covers, but HD does not. In addition the GAMMA patch for HD models wasnt updated as HD models wasnt updated. You can attempt manually patching this stuff in, but its not fun.

Not quite. You also have to go manually add the lines for gbo to be able to use those models. Or just dont ever shoot them XD

I went that route and started merging in Dux files with HD that were missing in my crash log but after like 5 or 6 files I figured I might be in for a long ride and gave up.

It's not showing the whole log because you restarted game XD. But with only looking at the error something tried to read/write to two files at the same time in a way xray didn't like

New to the modpack, installed the mod yesterday and I know you guys consider renegades those who install HD models lol. So I did it, it kinda worked, I followed the instructions, but the problem is:
It seems a load order position or patch problem,
High in the mod list the icons get all messed up
Low in the mod list, the icons are back, but the portraits are all scrambled together and some icons are missing mainly from the light armor category,
It's just icons and portraits bug,

the ammo counter has always been there unless you use mags redux and ammo check

My fellow stalkers -- I have updated, full install, deleted shader cache, but still my NVGs look like this. Is anyone aware of a fix for this? I was sure there was something easy but I can't find it

I thought my bear detector did not work, or worked under specific condition because it couldn't detect any artifact.
Turn out it's because it has a very, very low luminosity, barely noticeable even at night. In both screens, I have a (visible) artifact in front of me. With the flashlight, you can very easily miss the bars. It's more visible without, but still very faint. In broad daylight, it's impossible to see. Detector has full battery.
I do not have any mod that touches shaders or detectors.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

zombies are dead, and it's been quiet for a while

If i switch sights with underbarrel key i can no longer mousewheel the zoom again unless i reload the game.
Slow inventory scroll happens with escape not just alt tabbing.
sight zoom breaking is a known issue, at least if one swaps trough a grenade launcher

yeah, you can detach and reattach the scope if possible, that'll fix the dynamic zoom issue for now

Crash when trying to load ammo in SR3m (30 round VSS mags) mags. I have two mags, one loads just nice, next one crash game.
Hmm. This mag somehow got nuked to 20% and was causing crashes, other mags work just fine.
Also there's way to print ammo in small quantities:
- Load mag in gun
- Upgrade it with kit manually
Ammo from mag goes to inventory, but mag is still inside gun and loaded

I used to play with agressor reshade before I discovered Gamma. Loved the Tarkov-ish feeling it gave
I didnt try it out, but yes it is just the ground textures. to fully use Agressor (ew) then you gotta get it from Db

I've been trying to fix this on my own since yesterday but haven't had any luck. So far I have tried:
Deleting Shader Cache (I delete after each of these other attempted fixes),
Playing around with various gloss values, scopes, NVGs, zones, weather settings, new characters, (all not helpful),
Removing Beef's NVG, Grok's new "Shaders cumulative pack for GAMMA" via deleting the files from the /mods folder, then:
Performing GAMMA update check, then addon-only install, (which replaced the files from archived .zip as I only deleted the folder),
Removing Beefs, Grok's as above but deleting the actual .zip also this time, then:
Performing GAMMA update check, then full install,
After each of these steps I have deleted the shader cache and tried re-launching but all to no avail. I'm hoping one of y'all here can offer some guidance, or at least condolences

I just redid my own mod list because my laser sight disappeared with nvgs
Nothing like that, they're like the circular minimap, weapon mods, and lootboxes
So what I did to figure out what was causing my problem was update gamma to the latest announcement and load up the default gamma list to see if the problem persisted with a vanilla list
If your nvgs go back to normal, it's one of your mods. If they don't it's the install
That makes sense, yeah. I'll give that a try with a new character and report back

Yeah follow what @mint pasture said, because something is stopping the gamma patch from working. Its not beefs that controls this its literally the shader cumulative patch allows SSS and Beefs to work together
I did, that last shot is from vanilla with only Mags enabled
I'm going to delete the entire folder and start over, it's about the only option I can think of at this point

I could be wrong, but I believe Mags Redux can be turned on in your mod organizer? Search for it in there, it's off by default
The version of mags that comes with gamma isn't the most up to date version
