download reshade(no addon support) install it with the dx11avx or dx11 anomaly exe
chose dx11 as renderer, and get all the shaders
go to your bin - Look for file called dxgi.dll and rename it to d3d11.dll then launch the game.
go to your bin - open reshade.ini, change this line NoReloadOnInit=0 to NoReloadOnInit=1
play in windowed or windowed fullscreen
you will always have to refresh it manually if you want to refresh it, dont use vid_restart as it will always crash to desktop, its safe to refres with F7 + F5

I'm late to the party but stay away from Adega.. It's incredibly old and outdated and no longer being worked on/abandoned.. Hippo said himself that it was just a tiny project for whatever comes after (which was ATO and Rotten).. Adega also comes with its own trees and grass from Aydin so it can mess with a lot of stuff if you don't delete those.. It was also made with an old version of SSS so the bumps and stuff of the textures might look really wonky..
Rotten and ATO both have 2k versions at least.. But if anyone plans on trying Rotten, use the 2k in this Discord, not moddb.. Moddb doesn't include the decal fixes and new briks that's only found here

Oh it works.. Just not full potential of what you can achieve in terms of visuals and performance.. There's a meme going on here about people who follow those Youtube tutorials.. Especially the "How I made my Stalker look beautiful" or "This amazing FPS game looks amazing, and it's FREE".. Any tutorial video becomes outdated within a few months if not less.. Some of them suggest CAPA reshade and cfg_load atmos_spring.. Atmos_spring config does not exist anymore, and hasn't for a very long time.. And capa reshade is so incredibly old and already replaced by a simple LUT mod that takes away all the performance loss from Reshade..
Others suggest reinstalling Aydin and choosing Spring.. Where C Con Grass, Panceride Grass, and Reworked Vanilla exists..
So it's not that your game will break.. It just doesn't look good + you can get a lot more visuals and performance with a lot less effort..

just analyze good looking presets and note how they do priorities/what shaders they use (the ones in the database are outdated)
and what shaders do in general
once you memorize some decent shaders and learn how to set em up the way you like, youre basically good
cant make a good preset if you dont know a single shader
here, you can rip mine apart
basically do whatever you want with it, but note how the load order is and what do the shaders actually do
antialias always on top, then color gradings, balance tweaks and last cosmetic stuff like sharpening vignette or filmgrain or dof
and always look at configs
dont just enable shit
if youre working on a reshade for anomaly its also very important to keep ltx in mind
you always set up ltx first, then you make a preset

Hello everyone. I have an issue. I recently tuned my game and installed some mods, including the software/mod called 'reshade'. My game installation is the latest version. However, after being advised to use some'shaders', my PC experienced serious lags and freezes. I have a beast, NVIDIA 2070 TI and an Intel core i5, I don't know why I got those issues
After that, according to me it would be wise to update the software to the most recent version (Version 6.4.1). Still, I subsequently got this error.
Although I'm not experienced with discord and modding, I would be quite grateful for assistance if someone could.

That's my video.. Anomaly Custom uses MBTT as well.. It's just the way they set up their SSS settings that makes it look a bit different/better

I think this is used in Rookie Village
Just a forewarning:
Depending on your setup in terms of colors, lut, reshade, weathers, ltx, blah blah, your game might look wonky.. Late Fall ground textures are a bit darker by default so ccon grass might not look right on it.. So your best bet is to play around and hope for the best

ACTUALLY... while I have you I had one more question... how in the world did you get your fog/overall atmosphere to look so good? I copied the EXACT weather values from the video here when you switched it to rainy and your "air" looks... foggier... and you have much better overall looking fog and everything than I do even with the weather expansion for atmospherics
you have that nice "rolling fog" effect that custom has as well as just better looking "air". How... did you get this?

So uhm.. Sorry to burst your bubble.. But that was actually Anomaly Custom in that video.. I originally recorded it to show someone the fog that I was trying to extract.. That idea has then been handed over and is currently being made from scratch.. But it's still in development and not yet public.. It will add brown dust during clear weathers in day time and white fog during rain, cloudy, foggy, and stormy weathers during the day time.. And fireflies during night time.. Exactly as in Custom just "better" with accurate movements and directions..
So changing any of your settings to look identical won't come close since they use specific SSS + user.ltx settings.. And they have their own reshade too.. And weather.. So to make an identical copy with GAMMA is not really possible (trust me I tried)

Late Fall uses a weather system too so that's probably why.. Anomaly Custom ripped that mod apart (like they do with all of their stolen mods) and only took what they wanted like certain textures.. Here is what the game looked like with a 1:1 copy of their user.ltx, reshade, and SSS settings.. I couldn't copy the weather since it's all over the place.. They have weather related stuff in like 3 different mods mixed with a bunch of other shit..
And as you can see it does not look nearly the same or even good for that matter
