a few things you can try -- go to the MCM menu > SSS > Post-Processing > turn off weather presets and turn the thresh hold all the way up and exposure all the way down. In the normal Video settings menu change from Volumetric to Screen Space sun rays mode. Also try the Emergent Zone 2 mod and use the Zone-X preset. helps with the darker areas.

All in all it's the best AA solution for me atm before SSS23 comes along.. It does not reduce performance at all and it doesn't make any major changes (like massively blur leaves in the far distance).. I enjoy using it

Yeah, I'd say before huh made his custom grass placement, it was a pretty decent solution. Now with ccon, terrain is covered in a better way imho

im not touching that and don't want to mess with it, nowadays yt have ai bot to automatically search for copyright music, i wouldn't be surprised if epic have same thing for searching for texture's since you only need to compare image to those already learned

sss es, atmos(im talking about files in shaders/r3 to tweak em, and of tweak sss in mcm), emergent zone or your own lut, rotten for textures ccon for grass and some trees you like nad that's all + reshade adof and maybe pipnik aa

that is pretty advanced stuff

i got around the 130 watts consumption on my gpu with reshade I just opened the lut.fx on pipniks aa reshade and just copied over the lut settings w pipniks edits earlier

you could bake it into a sss lut, maybe a 1 frame difference

tbh w/o those just with tweaking sss in mcm and custom lut you can get nice visuals
