@stray hatch Wow, your Surreal Zone 1.1 is amazing, just seen 1.4 and going to check it out, day time, night time, indoors, outdoors, perfect, I'm using it with latest SSS 19, basically 0 frame drop, I lock it at 60 with a little GPU to spare, like 60 fps at 80 - 90% usage so maybe it costs a little but I don't notice, more like 50 fps in freedom base but my GPU usage also drops to like 60 - 70% so it must be CPU bound or something.

So I'm looking to make my game look hot as fuck.
I opened a saved game, tweaked some in-game visual settings and it looks slightly better, but because I was playing on dx8 compatibility mod before I had to delete reshades and more.
Would you guys recommend a fresh install rather than undoing what I did to make it work with dx8?

AtmosR is rather light-weight, also see if you can run AtmosR+

You could try to pick one you like, I like BloomDark, and then turn off heavier filters like Ambient Occlusion, Anti aliasing and Global Illumination

Be like me, buy a new 6800XT after a year you decide to replace the thermal paste, unlucko for you, you didn't pay attention to the wire connecting the PCB & the fans so when you put back the radiator into the PCB you just cut the wires making the card completly dead, gg wp so now i'm back on a 2070 non super on a 3440x1440 resolution monitor but playing at 1920x1080 with black bars

Very subjective and dependent on what your hardware can handle.

Anything with RTGI is going to look very good but also very resource heavy. If you don't think this is a problem I recommend COAR_RTX to start out with. Lots of luts to mess with and easy to tweak.

Hey guys I haven't gotten into reshades and stuff past the ones that came with GAMMA and after looking at the reshade database, isn't there a hardware suggestion or something to know more or less what cpu/gpu is recommended for different reshades/settings?

My pc runs GAMMA fairly decently but I don't know how taxing they are really I have a ryzen 5 5600x and a rtx3060ti

or it's more of a science to test reshades and touch settings and stuff?

I have 3060ti as well, I've tried a few (Darkbloom, SUNN) reshade, and indoors no FPS drop but outdoors, can be upwards of 10ish frames, definitly feels sluggish

I had no experience as well, but the setup is really easy (took me like 5 mins)

Check in pinned messages, go to google sheet with reshades, download the reshade you like to the anomaly/bin folder (u can make text file and copy paste if you don't like downloading) and viola

hit ur 'home' key to open the resahde options (this is where you can choose which reshade shader you wanna use) and the 'page UP' key to toggle ur shader on and off

Seems Reshade was not even installed so I copied all files from "...\GAMMA.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\bin" to "...\Anomaly\bin"

I was playing with the shaders and enabled something along the lines of "Depth 3D". My game froze up so I killed the task. When I relaunched, the main menu was frozen but I could still hear the button clicks when I selected an option using the enter button. Relaunched for a second time and it's still frozen.

Is there a way to change the shaders so I can disable whatever I turned on from the Anomaly\bin folder or anywhere else outside of the game??

I advise everyone to play around with reshade effects first if your not familiar just tick effects on and off see what looks good. 2nd is to mess with settings inside each effect but that is more in depth.

Get some textures, mess around with reshade (or use a preset), play around with the in game settings. That's pretty much what you gotta do to get your game looking the best it can.

And for reshade i recommend just playing around and seeing what you like but i recommend using DRME + TFAA regardless to almost remove the sparkling from the trees and bushes. (guide below).

For in game settings i recommend turning sun rays to volumetric and testing out the different main and base intensity settings other than that just turn everything to high quality but try avoiding the in game anti aliasing and using reshade or external programs for it instead

Because i use TFAA for smoothing you will also need to add that to your effect paths. You do that by navigating to the settings tab in the reshade menu (opened by pressing home) and pressing the plus button under the effect paths section like the first picture shows. Next you navigate to the folder named TFAA and press select like the second picture shows.

no, not really maybe a second or so and a bit longer for the initial load but it is normal to have load times of about 10-20 secs to change maps and around 20-30 secs on initial load

Found a decent way to recreate the digital painting style of the games' concept art in-game, It's not perfect but it looks ok in screenshots, very good in motion, and doesn't impact clarity that much. All of the shaders used should already be available with GAMMA's default profile

The shaders I used were:

• Fake GI
• Increased Vibrance and slightly Increased saturation (It doesn't matter what shader you use to do this, but it is important to note that a small change will go a long ways here)
• Oilify *
• DLAA *
• Eye Adaptation

*These shaders take some tweeking to look right and heavily impact each other

The resolution isn't high enough so you see the individual pixels. To make it more natural i would suggest increasing your resolution and adding some DOF to blur things that are very far away

another thing you could do is add DRME + TFAA to your reshade to remove the sparkling effect from the small holes between leaves in foliage. A more light weight option is holefiller which also limits that sparkling and makes the pixelation a lot less noticeable like TFAA

Helo everyone, im having not good graphics nowadays, i manually update atmospherics and SSS so i dont lose my custom mod list (so GAMMA havent been updated), i would like to know if theres any "persistant" file related to color or game config, because mine looks gray and weapon in material detail

I just have 4 ideas

1. Maybe you changed your user ltx or mcm settings by accident
2. It's can be cause of another reshade you was using and you managed to change it
3. It's can be cause of new atmos and sss updates as they added luts. So make sure your only use Atmos lut not sss lut
