Idk about play like players but they're definitely cracked as fuck at aiming. For the amount of times they coordinate a push and flank you though there's lots of moments where they're just standing out in the middle of a field stuck in a reload animation getting shot in the face or boxed down by zombies and dogs.

There's a lot of improvements a new engine will provide for the AI indirectly. Environmentally dynamic stealth and cover will be a big one. No more getting shot through grass 100m away. No silently killing everyone because the stealth system sucks (or vice versa, getting what should be a stealth kill that alerts 15 other people). The scope and depth of gameplay mechanics increases dramatically with a capable engine.

At this point even if the game is basically the vanilla stalker experience in a revamped map in UE5 I'll still be delighted. As long as they don't do something stupid to gimp modders like Starfield did.

Okay, so overhaul it can lead to some good results, notably in rainy and stormy weathers, and to highlight sunrises or sunsets, but aside of this, the red fire is unfortunately very noticeable, too much in fact, so that would probably need to be sacrificed, meaning less red trees intensity sadly. In all weathers, but mostly sun ones like Clear and Partly, the ground exposure feels inexistent, even at 2pm when the sun is at its peak. It also highlight the green fog in Cloudy Dark weather to the point I thought it was a glitch or something

The concept is interesting but I feel like the lack of ground light exposure is taking a lot away from the scenery

If you want start making reshade preset start with this things

1 start with setting shadow and light effects (don't go to to much bright or very dark cause can't see details)

2 find best sharp effect (you can ignore this if you are using 1440p or more)

3 now start color grading (make sure your colors never go too far away from main game colours)

Recommended effects for step 1,2 and 3
1: immersive mxao,mxao,Glamarye_Fast_Effects, rtgi
2: magic bloom and ambient light
3: qUINT_regrade, lightroom and color selective 2

Thanks a bunch for the edit btw Eden. I'm def gonna use it as a sort of reset point to edit from and try to avoid messing too much with contrast or brightness since a lot of the problems seemed to come from there. I'll def credit you when I release updates and stuff if you'd prefer.

@wispy rapids Sorry if you don't like pings! Was just installing ZR 0.4 and saw you had my old 1.1 reshade included in there, was just gonna ask if you wanted to update that with my 1.4 version since I think it has some biiiig improvements over 1.1. 0.4 looks amazing btw!
