There seems to be one weather type for me that breaks something and it’s always different if I patch the other one

I posted the same thing yesterday, Grok responded eventually and said he needs to patch it. It's certain weather types screwing with shaders I think.

For me it's sunny and partly cloudy - all others look fine.

For me this time it’s sunny 2 and foggy 1. Extremely bright. Everything else is fine

Pressing page up to turn the reshade off helps a little but it's not a fix

Or manually turning brightness setting down when those weather types come on, then turning it back up when they go off lol.

Yeah I do that too but it’s a pain bc it makes my interiors super dark. For some reason weather affects some but not others

Is the time in the weather editor and the time on the PDA supposed to be the same? I used weather editor to switch out of the borked weather but didn't realize you had to click play afterwards, so my time froze for a while and now PDA time and weather editor time are out of sync.

So I changed the time in weather editor to the time on my PDA, but now the time in the weather editor seems to advance faster than the time on my PDA. Is that normal? o.O

Gotta restart the game, the weather editor doesn't clear itself until you do

You need to redownload Aggressor Reshade if you want the full thing, GAMMA's version is only ground textures

Last resort, Debug Mode -> Esc -> F7 -> Delete Common Squads

This should absolutely give your fps back

The Reshade you tried is my old Reshade actually, but I'm glad you liked it x) The rest is indeed up to you to customize

How much of a performance impact should I expect if I download the full aggressor reshade? Playing @4k with a 3090, get 90-100 fps with the graphics pretty much maxed and using all 333 mods

I was looking to revert my graphics setting to default and I think I found the one you are looking for:

There's two ini files there, gamma reshade and reshade

Then you have the same files in the anomaly folder: Anomaly\bin

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

iirc most reshades has the same instructions, which is to copy the contents to the bin folder on your anomaly. But yeah, just follow the steps on moddb

but if it includes weather, you might have to disable gamma weathers

Yeah it's not the end of the world or anything - my current workaround is whenever I get one, open the debugger and weather menu and just change it to the other weather type, like if "clear 1" is the problem I change it to clear 2, then save and reload and that fixes it.

Just a little immersion-breaking momentarily to have to do it is all.

You won't get more FPS with disabling reshade alone, in fact, it will probably be useless and break stuff, I suggest #old-framerate-optimisation

For me the best optimization i have made is on SreenSpaceShader... Reducing slightly intensity, lower quality a bit and the hardness on : SSS,SSR,AO,WATER,PUDDLE. With sun shadow ON i was around 40-50fps. Now i never drop under 60 fps and cap sometime over 70+

On 1070 ti, 1080p

Vanilla texture. But i have try alot of texture pack... And they don't have a major impact on FPS. The biggest is one is shaders, this i why i have optimising this before looking for a texture pack that can fit with my settings.

Getting the best performance you can on vanilla texture is the first step in my opinion
