Hello, I noticed in that the population factors for mutants is 0.25 and stalkers is 1. Is this ok? Won't this make the zone empty with mutants and add more stalkers than there are mutants?
the game settings for population are overwritten by the zcp population factors, if you want to change those settings you can look in the mcm but the defaults are fine

I don't know but have you looked underground? Seems like a place where you need to go underground

Just updated gamma and for some reason my stalker won’t take damage by mutants or other stalkers but only by anomalies and barrels. Any help as to why this is happening?

Anyone else getting a really low amount of components from ammo disassembly? I disassembled a stack of 15 9x18 AP rounds and got 1 AP bullet and about 9 powder/casings. I loaded up an old save to make sure it wasn't due to low scavenging skill and got 1 FMJ pistol bullet when breaking down 14 hydrashock. I don't remember it being like this and I don't know what changed was made to make ammo disassembly this strange.

Are shotguns underpowered in gamma, or am I just using them wrong? I'm using a pretty damaged Remington 870, but even at point blank with buckshot rounds, and with bullet hit power at 2.2, it takes 4 shots to kill a zombie in a hazmat suit.
Most likely using it wrong. Barrel condition affects bullet damage. For anything that has armour (I assume you’re trying to kill a zombified stalker) on it buckshots aren’t very useful. Use slugs or AP rounds. But still, barrel condition is the main factor.
There was a chart that represents damage based on barrel condition. You can find it somewhere here. But the best solution is keeping the barrel clean and using the right ammo

Yeah it's helped me commit to fights I make mistakes in, but I'll still occasionally encounter a fight I should be backing off from but end up retrying until i win strat
It's funny since in my current non-ironman run I've not run into bad RNG, but in my past few ironmans, i somehow keep getting insane mutant spawns ending them, like a controller in that chemically part of garbage

When I undrstood i right, he must be somwehre in the Garbage Area, i serached the whole Area ( Found dosents of artefackts, epmty stashes and dead bodys ) but no assitent. Is this Random, or can u tell me at least the Anomaly wehre he suposed to lying around.

hi, I'm encountering stutters every 20s, tried most option in #old-framerate-optimisation but to no avail. CPU usage always stay below 20% and gpu usage is below 40%, anyone have any idea what's causing the stutter?
i would say wait until you get at bare minimum a sunrise stalker suit or maybe a overcoat with a bunch of meds on you

they wear a specific suit that protects specifically electricity due to the amount of electo anomalies in that lab the suit they wear is called the sunset suit or something like that its like the sunrise suit but with a darker tone on it

Yeah, it does help with all psy barriers in the Zone 😁 It’s a must to travel beyond Red Forest and go to the Radar as well

Yeah, you need to find all of the samples and then you can turn it in. And as I said in my second reply, you should have an artefact that gives you no radiation and is called something like "Anomaly sample <something>".
I spawned in the key and Dr's note and it gave me the mysteries of the zone quest, hope it doesnt have any unforeseen issues... idj why I couldnt get teh dialgoue for it

The marker lead you to X position but in reality the artefact is in another place, near that position and sometime not even there, so it's also a matter of luck
I always suggest to just don't take that quest
The reward for each of them is good money from what I remember but the last reward is garbage

If you can't find the sample, use debug mode, spawn artefacts on you until you hear or see the "quest updated"

Butcher pays about double for every mutant part you sell to him, so sell there, or keep it if you need standing with some faction and one of them asks for it
There are a few select items that the scientists pay more for. They're usually indicated by the item description or detail.

One thing to note, Butcher pays SLIGHTLY less than the Cook at Yantar for meat, just in case you want to min-max or have a trip planned to Yantar anyways

You sure? I tried to sell Pseudogiant Eyes to the scientists in Yantar, they offered almost 2k. Butcher offered me almost 4k for it, and the same applies for every part I checked. Granted I'm using Trader Overhaul instead of vanilla GAMMA Economics, so that might vary

It's 1080p. 1440p literally doubles the pixels which will give it a lush look instead of it being all static. It's unfortunate but it's common
Sigh - way, way too many of the campfire locations (the vanilla ones even) have radiation on them. Wild Territory Merc Camp for example is always just covered in radiation, making that campfire unusable. On top of that if you do save there, just to have a respawn point - all the mercs will respawn when you load, and immediately you are surrounded and getting shot, making that save useless.
Is this intentional?
I've also had bandits basically spawn in the Farm on top of me as well, same reload circumstance sometimes.

Thanks, hooked up the basic for Xenotech a while ago but I just now (like 10 mins ago) found him an advanced on in Wild Territory (holy crap getting to that hidden pipe stash in the electric house....) - That whole wild territory is WAY deadlier now, it's insane. The respawn on reload was a thing that, even though I hated to do it, had to debug mode and god-mode out of. I killed all the mercs initially, ran in to grab that campfire save and ran out, used anti rad pills and started towards the above stash - but died to an electric anomaly that was close enough to the wall near the collapsed tunnel that it hit me on the platform above while I was walking around the side of the house to climb up to the roof. So then I reloaded that save and had like 4 respawned mercs sitting there at the campfire immediately shooting at me, including a 5th respawned one on the sniper nest - no escaping that. But aside from that issue (just gonna avoid ever using enemy campfires, I already know that fast traveling to them is suicidal but I've never had them respawn on reload after you've cleared it, having never left the area) and the merciless placement of my radiation fields, that place is way more fun and challenging.

No. Stalker has always been about precision aim especially if you ever played vanilla stalker. Wait for a boar to turn towards you or way to shoot it to its upper body on the side. Even buckshot will kill it pretty much in 1shot
they probably work like AP and do less damage to mutants
and its laughable and ridicolous how tanky they are.
Try shrap25 and you will use maybe 12 of them

how do i use an upgrade kit? i have a drozd kit for the ks23 and ive tried clicking use and dragging onto the gun but nothing happens.
ok dragging the KS-23 510mm kit onto it worked, but KS23 drozd seems to be a different gun maybe?

yeah ive tried everything to get the drozd kit to work for my ks-23, but the 510mm kit works. it might be bugged

i have used them and it seems the low tier "claymore" sometimes downs them and sometimes only staggers, the RPG head can kill them but has a chance to down them depending on range while the chemicals can definitely kill them
It's fine if Improvised or Chemical are guaranteed kills, otherwise I'd like the prints. 
if you want to do intensive testing use the phantom star, you are able to place the IEDs even while invisible
right now i cant do any myself, but that was my experience with them when i used them in normal playthrough scenarios

its very range dependent as well, just a little too far and they will walk away just fine
