After update to RC3 sometimes half of my keybinds stop working (Only basic ones do, like walking, selecting weapons, crouching, but not any other including F). Anyone knows what might cause that? Or how to fix that?

Once you have it in your save, you can't disable it
The rest of the mods is fine, just don't enable EVERYTHING if you don't know what you're doing

Grok's No Exo's in the south. It's not specifically that the addon made the performance better, it's just the way it was functioning was causing FPS drops, but it got fixed/updated and that now makes the performance impact not as heavy. As far as i understand, anyway.

im not qualified to answer that question, but in gamma getting rid of radiation seems "easier" as in small amounts will go away fairly quick, cooked meat does not insta cancer you etc, but i dont know the exact values, only what i observed in game and before RC3
you can repair everything, but parts them self if they are to damaged, if you have the parts and the tools you need for it
and yes there is a small chance that the parts have more % then its shown, but i think only in conjunction with the disassembly achievement

The perk artifacts (according to what grok said about like, yesterday or so) should be spawning always at 100%
when i got a soul in rc2 off a stalker it was 100%, then i put it on my belt and took it off and it was 16%

You can get better quality sleep by deploying a sleeping bag and using that while also having a bed roll in your inventory.

I believe lower values make stealth easier. So for example changing luminosity from 1 to 0.7 makes you less visible in low light

In the Adjust Scope MCM, the second or third options brings the sight closer when aiming down sights
You can also decrease HUD FOV to bring your whole gun closer when not aiming, but that will affect all guns.

I am playing as UNISG and the first thing I did was go to mercenary base in dead city, there I took some quests but they are in red forest (psy barrier) or Limansk (Radiation barrier) and I can't make any progress. What should I do?

you should start by disabling cvfx (i think its still in RC3)

Long term Anomaly user, mods fan, edited mods myself in the past on the side. First, thank you so much @willow hawk for this modpack and the huge work you & others put into it.
I've used RC1, RC2 and about to embark on RC3 in a day or 2.
I have only one question/suggestion:
FDDA seems mostly responsible for Busy Hands. I've personally had this many, many times. On RC1 I ended up playing without anything FDDA constantly due to this. The anims didn't really bring enough benefits for me personally to merit all the grief with busy hands.
So, my question is a simple one. Why not make all things FDDA under their own "optional" section with a busy hands warning?
That way everything needed to turn it all on or off would be in one simple place 🙂 If conflicts make that an impossibility, perhaps some easy to search text in the description so we could instantly filter all needed mods to turn on or off?
Weirdly enough, I never got busy hands in anomaly with fdda before Grok's. Maybe it's a conflict thing
Now you can simply disable FDDA, FDDA IMMERSIVE sleep patch and GAMMA FDDA rework
just in case anyone else wonders how to disable fdda completely
Ah, ok. Previously I also had to disable a few more. If it's all now contained in those 3 then that makes it a lot easier to go through. Cheers for that 🙂 I have to say I find FDDA all a little too much "shiny stuff" and it actually makes the game less immersive for me personally.
Well the driking, eating and med anims are cool
The smoke anims are cancer

Basically just use the filter function at the bottom of MO2 and look for FDDA and just untick everything
the rework I made, although fixing some aspects of FDDA, might cause more busy hands when looting mutants

yeah, that was what I did previously. I also went through each fdda addon and methodically looked to see if it interacted with any other mad, just in case of any other inadvertent conflicts
(basically it moves the gun after skinning and it displays the proper knife model when skinning)

I usually don't use them and tend to just sell them in vanilla Anomaly but with the new system I am trying to weigh the benefits over the long term cost from damage on equipment and opportunity cost in the use of more artefacts needed to make better artefacts.

If you have debug enabled you can inspect how much damage each shot does.
Requires a living target though.
It's represented in decimal, where 1.00 is 100% health, and 0.5 is 50% health, etc.
Also take note, that bullet type matters a lot.

Does marking items as Favorite/Junk with the Auto Sort Plus mod, cause lag when opening inventories?
I had that problem with RC1, my game would legitmately freeze for a couple seconds when loading player inventory, or NPC inventory. I assumed it was because I had a fuckton of items marked as Favorite and Junk. But now I am getting slight lag, even though I only have patches marked as Junk items, nothing else.
Or am I just carrying to much shit lol.
It's directly related to carrying a lot of individual items.
Takes a heavy toll on the CPU to bring that stuff into view.
That would make sense. Always carring gun-smithing tools and dissassembling all the ammo I find.
Off-loading stuff from your inventory into a stash will lessen the load time.

Artefact search quest for the wild territory from the professor at Yantar. I collected two, and I'm pretty sure I've collected the third one, but it's not in my inventory. As a result, I can't complete the quest and there's no marker on the map that would point to the place where the artefact is. I'm going through wild territory trying to collect all artefacts, but I'm afraid I won't be able to find it. Is there a way to unbrick the quest?
Yes. But not all artefacts need to be in containers, only the ones that emit radiation
when i press "use" button 3 times in my case its "f". my guy tries to unjam weapon with an animation. any chance to stop that? i already have unjam keybind assigned on my mouse
i think if you track down the professor that gave you the quest you can quit it and get a new one, not totally sure though

take them out from the container, put them back in or put them in a stash and they will update their correct condition. its not intended but currently this is the only fix i know of
the brightness option in basic light settings ain't working. is there a way to fix it? i need to turn down the brightness cuz dark areas have this bloom effect to them and aren't really dark.
Try disabling Dynamic Tonemap in MCM.

They shoot at each other when squads patrol areas, but that is it.
If you want to play Warfare it is generally not recommended to do so in GAMMA, it causes only problems.
If you do decide to try Warfare anyway, and get stuttering and crashes—you're on your own.
Yeah Grok told me it is considered unstable. Having something like the Warfare ALife Overhaul would have been cool. But that is just my personal preference of course.
Closing question: Do you know whether Warfare support is something to be addressed, or is it deemed too out of focus for the modpack main goals?
It is in, but still not recommended.
GAMMA doesn't focus on Warfare the slightest. Only due to popular demand was the overhaul included as an option.
You can enable it and try, but like I said before—it comes with three trillion asterisks.

I have only bear detector and it goes quite crazy when Im above an artefact (you have to point downwards to have the indicator in front of you). Yesterday when trying to get it (for like an hour) I saw one junk artefact bellow a texture slowly rising so thats how I found out it is stuck bellow a texture.

You can try holding the Use-key and leaning while deep-crouching to try and finagle it out of there.

Was anything changed in RC3 regarding damage that mutants do? I don't recall being able to eat 2 chimera pounces, especially when the armor i was wearing had only about 17% rupture res. Bullet damage seems completely fine however, like normal.

Worked a bit on particules to use CVFX 3.5 instead of 3.6 (which was bugged in Generators btw causing crashes even + BOTZ blood particles but I want better particles from 3.6 + better optimized Fruit punch particles)
And worked a fucking lot on shaders compatibility and dynamic tonemap customisation so that it looks good.
I'm still trying to improve the whole profile
