Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS

'Faction identification' it'll be something along those lines. Just be aware that once you do that you will have to go to the modded support channel for now on. You can also check mcm for any configuration options for the mod. (Press esc while ingame, 'mod configuration menu.')

something really odd seems to have happened to my machine in the last 24 hours which causes GAMMA to crash when running with Reshade ... I had a working install of 0.9.3 yesterday, then all of a sudden today it just crashes straight to desktop (no error message) on launch after clicking play in the Anomaly Launcher

eventually I narrowed it down to reshade being enabled (which worked before)

so figured I'd just nuke the install and do a totally fresh install of 0.9.3.1, and that exhibits the exact same behaviour! works perfectly fine if I just remove the Reshade dxgi.dll ... really weird

I can't think what might have caused this, I've done no driver updates, not installed any new software in that time, it's just ... randomly stopped working ... I can't see anything useful in the reshade log and I can't work out how to get any more verbose logs from reshade (changing the log file to .tracelog doesn't seem to work any more)

oddly enough, though, if I just launch AnomalyDX11AVX.exe manually, Reshade seems to load correctly and Anomaly doesn't crash

It works if I start it up with a lower res, for example 1920x1080, and then set it in game but if I dont reset it the next time I start it up it'll crash. Is there a fix for this? i want to play a normal gamma and a winter gamma and i need to disable many addons in mo2 and delete the shader cache too, ill have 2 stalker anomaly games

Well since I went through the process anyway, an alternative approach that doesn't require running git-bash.exe as admin in case you're interested:

Go into GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\resources\etc and open gitconfig in a text editor.

Add the following to the bottom of the file (Or under the [safe] header if that already exists. Yes this is the solution I came up with. This will probably also work with a single directory = "*" entry based on the bot's response but I've not tested that yet.):

Sure, you can have scopes like in EFT, but you will have 25 fps instead of 50 fps. Deal?

EFT has PiP scopes and Stalker engine can't handle that very well. We have 3DSS instead, which zooms the whole screen and doesn't impact your framerate.

What you can do is move the scope closer to your eye with the "Adjust scope HUD" setting in MCM. There's also PiP-like effect which you can turn on in MCM > 3D Scopes > and move the first slider to 1.2 or 1.5

I did my best to make it look good and still have my 50fps but I think you misunderstood me, I don't want the EFT scopes but the magnification effect they have, where the zoom when aiming happens inside the scope and not in panoramic view. In mods settings there is a section 3D sights where I can increase the zoom inside the sight (i think that is what u talking about), but still there is zoom in the panoramic view so looks strange I will try what you say as it seems to be exactly what I want, thank you very much and travel safely stalker

What you (and many other players) want is PiP scopes. Modders tried it in Stalker and it's shit. With 3DSS the whole screen will zoom in and out. Even Stalker 2 does it like this.
The slider will give you a small zoom inside the scope, but it will also give you pixelation. But the actual zooming is achieved by changing the fov, which makes the "panoramic view" zoom as well.

You need to download the SoulCrystal_Mossberg_590A1 addon manually and extract the [main] folder in it in the corresponding mods folder in GAMMA. I had this error too and it fixed it.

Evening, i am currently experiencing something extremely frustrating. After loading a save and playing for 10-20 mins Fps lows drop to 40 - 50 fps while average Fps stay 130-160 fps. I tried every little tweak i could find (disabling offline combat, tweaking alife swich distance, grass density and distance and many other CPU intensive stuff) to no avail, as this seems to consistently happen always after a certain while has passed. Tried this on a spot in the cordon, wild territory, truck cemetery and darkscape about 3 times each, where i loaded in with 140-160 FPS average and 90-120 fps lows and after the afformentioned while the lows dropped to 40 - 50 fps while the avg stayed 140 -160. Frankly, i cannot handle the stuttering from the 160 to 40 fps difference and if no solution comes up im gonna nuke it. Please, if anyone knows anything, please, help me stalker

after following the steps to run through dx8/dx9 when i enable all mods it has 675 instead of 502 and the game instantly crashes when trying to launch

I am trying to download the installer resources via the v6 update page because of a launcher issue while trying to install, however i am trying to download the 8 GB file via firefox default down loader and it keeps failing for some reason, does anyone have, or could tell me how to get a torrent or url for the download.
