Go to .grok, right click GAMMA_Installer and click "open in new window" then drag all of that into .grok

They need to be directly in the .grok folder

Once you get it there and delete the empty GAMMA_INSTALLER folder, run the launcher, click initialize, then click play and see how many mods you have.

So earlier your shit downloaded your mods into the .grok folder or something idk but there were too many folders in there

Get rid of the number and then the issues goes away because you don't know anymore

FPS can exceed HZ you have to cap the fps in the menu

After playing 20hours without a crash, my game suddenly wasnt opening anymore, closing by itself when I was launching it from mo2.

Didnt add any mod while playing. Now I did a full fresh install since I wasnt able to fix my issue.

the bloom effect is not from reshade. right click -> reinstall Screen Space Shaders without the bloom option. check image for all the other option. Then, delete Anomaly/appdata/shader_cache before you next launch the game

Im just confused if the game is actually 144 Hz or if it's 144 FPS. Cause they're slightly different things. If you go into the settings you can cap your FPS to 60.

yo, just double-checking if the 2k option for the fonts included in the default install will scale them up to the right size for a 2k monitor (I had a different mod doing this for awhile)

it contains basically all of the standard game settings. HOWEVER, recently i noticed it also includes settings for the SSS mod. I don't know which takes precedence, user.ltx or the mcm file.
the mcm menu settings are stored in a mod called G.A.M.M.A. MCM values - Rename to keep your personal changes

I dont know if someone had the same problem, but after broken a leg, healed by a medic, my movement speed keeps slow, running slower. After a patch the problem solved, now I got the same problem again, I think there is a bug with the leg condition mod, like even healed the slow effect persist. Maybe updating the mods solve this.

in Mod Organizer 2, in the right pane under Data, find ui_sleep_dialog.script, comment out line 131-135 included. Comments in lua are any line that starts with --, so just prepend that before those lines. Keep in mind this is a dirty edit, that you will probably get no support for, and will be overwritten next time you update. The proper fix would to report this as a bug/feature request here on Discord

How come in fullscreen the game becomes much darker, and also, in screenshots, the game is much darker than it looks for me in-game? It's like it's not applying my monitor's settings or something, or maybe my windowed version isn't applying in-game settings properly.

when you're in exclusive fullscreen, the game usually controls some of the monitor color/brightness settings. You'll have to recreate them via ingame options.

It depends if you are willing to lose some frames but I find that DRME enabled right above TFAA was pretty good, I also recommend holefiller which isn't really AA but it counteracts a ton of the aliasing created particularly by trees. DLAA was pretty good too and a little less demanding. Other than that, Imerse anti aliasing and the basic "fxaa" option, as well as CSAA are very light but somewhat helpful options

Hello, I am experiencing quite frequent crashes. Stacktrace error report at the end of the .log file attached as img
I noticed that it happens sometimes after I drop things on the ground, but not instantly. I wander a bit and then crashes, idk if it may help
I also add that I have the base unmodified set of mods that come with GAMMA, no additional edits, 507 active mods and launcher 6.7.0.0 ver

So basically when I had my first random crash that I was talking about I was on dx11 alr but then I think I tried 10,9,8 and then tried 10 again forgetting that I was at 11 at first so I didnt even try 11 again at all...or I am not sure I dont know. all I know is that I just tried dx 11 now again and both one of the old saves and the same save that failed before worked. Might be none of the other dx options working on my computer because my computer is not that great overall but the game seems to run fine right now.

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

well like I said my computer aint the best so running it on lower directx helps run it better but if it runs it runs dx 11 is still good I think. I am not really sure how much difference it would make anyways. before the update 9 was slightly faster but now I cant compare at all so yeah.

Hi all! Anyone having scope accuracy issues since the switch to shader scopes? As an example, I have an AK 5C with a CQBSS mounted but it could be any scope really. Even a PU sight. I can't hit the broad side of a barn with them, even when it's zoomed all the way in to a relatively close target and their head fills out the entire reticle

Reporting back - It was the lack of accuracy upgrades. I fully-upgraded my AK 5C and now it hits on-target every time. I chose all the accuracy upgrades and one or two flatness upgrades.

you are on the 6.7.0.0 launcher right? only thing that i think it could be, also it's rare but sometimes mods just download wonkily, you could try just running the md5 hash and not forcing github-downloads/forcing extraction

yes

an outdated launcher was causing icon issues earlier so i fixed that and reinstalled gamma after. but i didnt remove anything before reinstalling so it was an overwrite

so im going to do a total fresh install

i ran the mo2 uninstaller and all the files in GAMMA stayed so im just manually deleting the entire GAMMA folder

hope nothing else needs removed. gonna reinstall anomaly entirely too
