Yeah I grabbed the new Launcher. Not sure how I would have gotten an old launcher. I just used what came with RC3

Soon i will be changing my ssd that has my windows on it for a new one, my gamma and anomaly folders are both on another drive that i will not touch, is there anything i should be doing a backup of that could break my game?

and !move, if you are planning on moving Anomaly and/or Gamma folders.
installing on an external drive may cause problems. best is to stick with system drive for both Anomaly and Gamma. you can try, of course.

1) Go to this folder: [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer\resources\Stalker_GAMMA\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\bin
2) Copy the bin folder (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste the bin folder (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked

Note: If the method above doesn't work, run the GAMMA Launcher as admin, disable/uncheck all the options and press install.
Doing this way will reset the modlist and your game settings back to default, but it will install reshade back.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

• Check MD5
• Force git download

6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1. Add your GAMMA and Anomaly folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.
   You can find these settings here:

maybe u looted it before and hid the documents somehwere else? maybe there was a companion? because if u take those docs and put it somehwere else - the marker will still update on the original stash, not where the docs actually are.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

apparently "You dont need reshade anymore" but without it, game looks like crap... You can uncheck it and then look for the reshade files on the actual game archives

Then u gotta copy all the reshade files on the Anomaly bin folder if they are not already there

Or you can just install reshade yourself from the downloadable installer from official website and look for your own reshade from mobdb

I have a suggestion... Would be possible to integrate a diagnostic tool on the installer so everyone, devs and players, could exactly know what went wrong on the installation/update process? Is that a feasible feature? I think would make everyone lifes easier...

2) Copy the bin folder (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste the bin folder (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked

Note: If the method above doesn't work, run the GAMMA Launcher as admin, disable/uncheck all the options and press install.
Doing this way will reset the modlist and your game settings back to default, but it will install reshade back.

Got install to run and everything but been having some really bad stuttering not conistent stuttering just the game stutters every now and again. Enough to not and effect gameplay. Turned down a bunch of settings and I can't figure out what's causing the stutters

2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

huh, i am getting a recurring peculiar error of which i am not sure the root cause off. I keep getting CTD shader compile error when attempting to launch the modpack.

I have managed to make it work by launching anomaly first then launching gamma. However, I have this feeling on the back of my mind that there is just something that is not right, this problem could be due that I use a widescreen monitor, but shader modes such as SSS 18 appears to be a bit buggy on me; issues are but are not limited to: rain is super think and opaque, much like the GTA San Andreas "remaster" (setting for the rain do not appear to have any apparent effect), grass does not interact with player, minimap is a bit wonk showing as a rectangle inside of the Modular Compass Minimap even though I selected Compass instead of minimap mod.

could this be due to DLTX? I have made sure to install the modified .exe, but I dont think thats the cause. A fresh viewpoint on this might be good, I do have log files as well

I wiped my windows clean last night, I had issues with screen and uniformity for a while, having Gamma stutter and FPS drop was the straw that broke the camels back

No more issues, no more stuttering, I am also on 3060RTX laptop GPU

It not about you have a 200 dollar setup or a 2000 dollar one, it is a 16 years old game engine with bad multicore optimization, lots of people here all had this "why can't my computer run this" phase

Having a cpu with stronger single core may help. And faster ram/vram or install gamma and anomaly in same drive

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
