I'd say its just plain because you added animations. Every animation that was removed was done so bacause they are the most likely reason for busyhands. It can happen with other things but almost a guarantee with some animations

You probably just need to get the updated version 6.0 launcher via #💽how-to-update and run it again as Admin. If you really wan't to nuke your install then your saves are located in Anomaly/appdata. Keep in mind that if you had custom mods it will need to be in the same exact way for the best save compatibility.

If I turn off the in-game antialiasing, the GPU clock speed drops to 900mhz and the usage goes to around 80% but the frames are unstable or below 60FPS. Anyone have a fix for this? (other than turning anti aliasing back?) I'm using the nvidia control panel FXAA at x8, I think tha game is using so little resource the driver can't determine the performance level correctly

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

I know this is a support channel, not "express your emotions" channel but I just have to say it - the latest update is just amazing! I've updated my launcher to version 6000 and I know it has some updates to shaders and stuff but my God, the game now feels and runs so much smoother! Prior to that update I was getting around 60-90 FPS in general and in some places like Dark Valley FPS would drop to 35-40, but now I get stable 90+ FPS in any location. Plus, the animations of FDDA addon are just awesome! It feels like all the things I wish you guys fixed were ACTUALLY fixed and I would like to appreciate all the hard work you put into this project. I've been playing GAMMA for almost a year and the constant development of this game makes me and thousands of other stalkers happy! Just wanted to let you know that we love everything you do for the community: the development, the support and the patience with all the dumb questions 😄

Hey Ive got an issue with gamma. The game launches no problems there. but it launches in a very small window and my cursor is restricted inside the window too. Any idea whats wrong ? Is it an issue that gamma runs with poor perf ? In anomaly I've +160 fps in rookie cordon zone but in gamma, I barely have 100 fps and it feels unsmooth ? :/
Oh and there is a weird thing, I have 100 fps if I let default settings (in 1440p), if I try to lower most of them (according to a picture that was sent on this disc), I have 60/70 fps max, wtf 😄

Do you have antialiasing enabled? If so, disable it completely. It doesn't work and only lowers fps SUBSTANTIALLY.

You're right, 60 fps is enough but with a high refresh rate screen, I try to match it :p, the real problem isn't really the framerate but even above 60 fps, it feels a bit unsmooth, it's hard to explain if you haven't the "thing" in front of you 🙂

I had the same issue. Even duplicated one deagle somehow equipping a scope on it. Doesn't always happen, so I just put the desired scope on and haven't touched it since.

I reformatted the SSD to NTFS and copied over all the folders,
MO2 doesn't seem to have an issue anymore with it.
So my guess is that it has issues with different file systems.

Hello, I have an issue with all my saves apparently, that worked before. When I load the save, and go into the game, my hud-health and limbs are all broken. Health in inventory is normal though. I also can't climb and if I take damage or die (tried to run into an anomaly and jumped off a building) the game freezes with an error, that a voice can't be found (probably the character's reaction for damage) when I try to kill the process in task manager, it locks up my PC for ~10 seconds and closes by itself.

I fixed it. I loaded an affected save, used a waterbottle (I was locked in the animation afterwards and couldn't do anything except moving around and saving), I saved the game, closed it completely and loaded the new save. Health hud works now and it didn't crash when I killed myself again.

To fully disable it after having it enabled by the launcher or !k98, go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll. Alternatively, to temporarily disable it, tap the PAGE UP/PgUp button on your keyboard.

Anyone else’s game crashes after an update?

I updated gamma as per the instruction in the update section of the chat and loaded the game.

Then after the game started as normal I walked around for a few minutes organising things in my inventory and going to trader etc, suddenly my character just died, then I got an error saying something about “ 0000000000. The mermory could not be written”

Can any one please help?

I can't help but notice reshade is still there despite everything trying to remove it. Is it possible the installer left part of it in there and it's running and is looking for the files that did get uninstalled and can't find it?

I found many suits owned by the Sin faction also ISG, and always I disassembled the suit, every time before that I did the "tear off patch" option so I could get their patches first (Apparently if I disassemble it directly, I don't get the patch from it) and after that, I destroy it, but now I see I don't get the patches from Sin and ISG... yes, it's literally a patch thing, when I try to take a patch off from 'Sin, Monolith or ISG' the patch technically don't exist in my inventory, but it disappears from the suit it-self.

1. Add your GAMMA and Anomaly folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.
   You can find these settings here:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings

2. Grab the latest launcher: #📢announcements message
3. Go to [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer folder and extract the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe and the resources folder there (picture for reference below)
4. Launch the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe with Admin Rights and either:

Follow the instructions from a Helper that is helping you.

the log file points to files that seem to be missing.

try to reupdate/reinstall, if youre up to date you should have 446 mods in MO2 according to #📍577-mods-in-mo2

some mods may not have been enabled properly, a few people have that issue with some mods not being enabled or even downloaded. screenshot ur MO2

if its not 446 mods here then theres some mods that arent enabled or downloaded. ignore mine tho im on an older version

1) Go to this folder: [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches
2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

NOTE: If you were given these instructions to restore Reshade, ignore step 6).
