trying to get back to playing on dx11. shader cache compilation failed error, i already deleted the shader_cache folder though. i should also mention that i disabled dof using the !dof guide where you disable it from that .script file, idk if it has any correlation though.

went through the proper procedure on disabling YACS yesterday, wiping & reinstalling as well by doing the "safer" way of moving my .7z to the anomaly folder & extracting them there. (And also making a new character)

the other mod is unlimited stash weight in place of YACS

I had a fatal error for 3 days and I resolved it by removing the reshade that was causing it, but now I get another error every time after 5 minutes or more of gameplay, the screen suddenly goes dark and the game seems to continue working with sounds and movements however after the dark tel comes this error

Theres a Pseudogiant, 2 Fractures and a Controller in the back somewhere and if i sit back no crash, but if the Pseudogiant does the slam attack while the Controller is aggro'd it CTDs with an error saying: Unhandled Exception check log file

Yo, so I installed GAMMA and things were working perfectly fine, until I decided to change some graphics settings, after which the game blackscreened. It continue to blackscreen until I hit the "reset graphical options" in the anomaly launcher, after which the game did start, however the FPS absolutely tanked for some reason. I tried turning the settings back to the defaults but it didn't change anything. Help would be appreciated.

After 7 completed tasks the chances to get a rare stash from tasks start at 60% from what i'm reading.. so next stash reward generally should be a rare one (yellow)

And if you don't get your yellow stash on 8th task the chance will raise afaik. It's impossible to not get any yellow stashes but experiences on when that'll occur vary
Might be your 8th task, might be the 10th if you're unlucky enough

But it's usually one yellow per 8 tasks in my experience

"okay anyone who was having issues with glossy hands and then no rain puddles i have found the solution. manually delete cache, launch GAMMA not anomaly to compile shaders. ALSO reinstalls beefs nvg and you need to select ES and SSR not ES and no SSR like SSS guide suggests is proper, i think he wrote the wrong thing in his guide because without doing this there are no rain puddles and nvg breaks a bunch of SSS. your load order needs to be ES Shader driven scopes + patch beefs nvg, SSS, atmospherics"

The only reason said guide only covers the stationary, unique NPCs but not the quest-related ones (yet) are simple:

• You have to initiate the quest to get their ID
• Some quest NPCs belong to addons and are not available in the base Anomaly so we don't know where to dig to get their spawn ID.
• These NPCs have different unique IDs at different stages of the same quests.

Also, it looks like you have an nvidia gpu. You should go into the NVIDIA control panel and set triple buffering to on and low latency mode to Ultra for whatever DX version you use. It helps a lot

I'm using DX11 and after updating the game the night vision no longer works. I get the sound of putting it on and taking it off and the sound of turning the gain up and down, but there's no NV overlay or any night vision to speak of, yet it's clearly installed in the proper slot and being activated and used.

almost certainly because of antivirus - make sure you have an antivirus exception on the entire gamma folder

This is a false positive situation with the antivirus quarantining the file. The launcher is safe to use. Grok has a LONG history of safe launchers.

Asking around on this just to make sure. So when you pay the doctor to remove adds nothing happens? or does it go away and then come back really quickly?

One thing to check would be to see if you have lots of artifacts in a workbench or stash. You will get rads when you are using the workbench with unshielded artifacts inside of it.

I would check to make sure that the artifacts in the containers give off more forms of radiation. Those basic containers only block one kind of rads.

Also, you mentioned that the rads didn't go away when you paid the doctor to remove them. Did they go away immediately then come back or did they just not go away at all?

I think only exception is the Death Lamp or whatever it was called

A couple of questions for you:

1. Do you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.0 is the newest)
3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

Im not gaining rads. I have reached a point where, because no method of removing radiation is working, the cumulative amount of radiation gained over a long period of time has reached a point where I am constantly taking HP damage, not radiation damage

Out of curiosity are you able to go back to a previous save where you don't have the rads. Then maybe eat one of your mutant foods to give you rads and try to get rid of them.

You'll have to redo your custom mod setup after updating, but it's best to make sure your saves work and you aren't getting that crash again before you do so anyway

If it comes to reinstalling anomaly then go to #🤖bot-commands and type !dest for the proper directions.

Tested and not really even sure whats going on... Rad counter in my inventory isnt even going up on the new game, but the rad meds seem to reduce the bar on my HUD

I'm guessing that it is something tied to that character then. Those bars in the inventory are a crappy representation of that is actually happening. The hud is a good indicator of rads being reduced.

Hopefuly the xray/monolith engine doesn't strike again. If it happens again then my first thought is one of the mods you enabled/added is conflicting and causing it, or... something screwy is happening with your base anomaly install. that is an easy fix. Just redownload anomaly files and extract them following the !dest directions.
