To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

whenever I loot a corpse, I become unable to loot any inventory or loot container, (stashes, corpses, etc) with the exception of mutant bodies. While in this "state" I can't change the brightness on my NVG either, any ideas on how to fix this? I can still "drag" corpses around, and the only way to fix it is to save and reload. This is a good video of what said bug looks like. The video is from an old version of gamma, however, this bug has persisted across updates and entirely new installs of gamma.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

Then go to Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons find a mod called 45- Stealth Overhaul - xcvb and delete it.
then go to Grok's Modpack Installer\resources and delete Stalker_GAMMA folder.
After that run the gamma launcher as admin, and press install

And after all that, please don't enable any mod you've enabled previously, especially backed up mcm values

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

If I change it ingame it might crash or not. But it can run in 4k if I dont restart the game.

Crashing when entering using level transition to Great Swamps, Cordon or Garbage. Using default Gamma install. Every so often the bug will stop and I can enter one of the 3 areas. But only every ~8 hours of gameplay. This has persisted across two GAMMA updates now. Entering from other level entrances does not change the crash behavior. Fast-traveling or using a guide doesn't help either. Why is this happening? Forward Shadow gave up helping me :/ "Those memory errors are tough to narrow down sometimes." This breaks many quests.

(i did every step in the stuttering guide as it said, one by one) im having a lot of issues with stuttering, and ive checked my RAM, CPU and GPU usage across when i start my computer and get on GAMMA, when its been on for a while and get on GAMMA, and when ive played GAMMA for a while and it seems fine, my memory usually never goes above 90% my GPU stays at the 100% range, and i normally equate my RAM, GPU or CPU to stuttering in games because my computer is not that bad of a machine but for some reason GAMMA is really stuttering a lot and i think it might have to do with loading in the world and possibly game objects because i notice as things load in the distance as im walking, and when im looking at an area with a lot of objects in it, is when it begins to stutter the worst, but standing still and facing in one direction without turning in the wild on the edge of the map where there is very little clutter seems to be fairly smooth

using the rs_stat menu i stood still in an area with low anomalies but a lot of debris and i got around 40-60 fps, (but the FPS counter was going really quickly between the numbers, maybe someone else knows what that means) then i started walking and it dropped to around the 10-19 range and began to go in between 19-50 really quickly, then i stopped again and it went back to 40-60 range. i also noticed that looking down at the ground stabilized fps at 40-50 range, while looking up at a lot of game objects cause it to begin rapidly changing like before, and turning to an area with less objects on the edge of the map stabilized it around 37-40 fps.

Pretty sure the repair system is integrated with the main gamma files at this point. What you could do as a roundabout way is use the debug menu to spawn in the repair kit you need and donate it. Then buy it back as a pseudo mechanic repair method.

1. Do you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.0 is the newest)
3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

Hey, having an issue with the PDA. The top left of the 3D PDA is blurry, I have disabled DOF to see if that would make any difference but, it made no difference. When i toggled 3D PDA off, the 2D PDA has comes thorough clear. To note I'm not using any additional graphic mods or Reshade other that was came with GAMMA. Anyone got any idea's on how to correct this. Thanks.

open task manager, go to performance, and then go to GPU, it should say the name

download the latest drivers for your GPU, while your GPU is fairly new it might have an outdated driver which is causing the GPU to be suspended during the rendering process resulting in that error youre getting

actually i looked at it, the vehicle file he sent only changes something in the mesh file, your problem is a texture file (or it could be your GPU itself) so that might be why the vehicle fix didnt really do anything, let me try to find a mod that messes with that texture file

Hi. I have a issue with stutters, probably because of loading assets I think. For example when I move from clear Sky base to the church, close to church I have multiple freezes even so I have 100-100 avg fps vide card RX 6600 and I don't see no bottleneck. I tried optimization but it just slightly boost fps ( I already have enough) not fixing stutters. List of my atctions:
Disable CPU core 0 - game do not open.
Adding run as a admin to .exe - game do not open.
disable fullscreen optimization - nothing.
adding mod "Turn this on if you stutter" - nothing
adding mod "Meatchunk's prefetcher (needs 12GB of Free RAM) - this mod doesn't work as I can tell
moving all sliders in game - only fps boost

Can you give some more ideas to check? Again it's not about framerate-optimization it's about stutters.

theres only 2 other errors i can really think of for that then, either that the texture file is missing/corrupt/damaged, or that the function isnt working correctly. do you have any mods installed that arent native to GAMMA? and if not, do you have 445-446 mods enabled?

im assuming here that the mi-24 is natively in anomaly and that a GAMMA mod doesnt alter its bump map file, and by that the bump map file for it, if the error is due to an issue in the texture file then possibly reinstalling anomaly itself would work? the error youre getting could be because the texture file is causing the GPU instance to be suspended when loading it

if you have "Gunslinger Controller Suicide" enabled it would be enabled, if you have that enabled and it doesnt work, make sure "Weapon Cover Tilt" is enabled, if that is also enabled, then its most likely that the controller was idle and not seeking an enemy so the suicide wasnt triggered, that is if you actually tested it in game and it didnt work

anomaly and gamma are seperate games and their saves will not work. to continue playing anomaly, but having gamma too, you must install anomaly in another folder, not related to gamma. in #🤖bot-commands, type !save to know where your anomaly or gamma saves are located.

@midnight tinsel To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

game is running but ive ran into another problem: whenever i try to enter army warehouses on my old mercenary save file the game crashes mid loading screen. no error comes up, no nothing. any ideas?

check your anomaly appdata folder and look at the log, if a screen error didnt come up then there should be something in the log

i ve had gamma since around the time operator drewski made a vid, the save file is from that time aswell. i ve only ever played gamma and never base anomaly

then thats most likely why its crashing, playing an old GAMMA save with new GAMMA is probably causing some issues with it

i cant really say whats exactly wrong with the save file, im just guessing here that if the save file is old, you crash when entering into a certain area, that probably means something in the area is conflicting causing a crash as it loads in. (i could be wrong here as well, its just a guess) as for the lore quest question i dont know there
