when you extract the 7zip file using the 7zip extracter program, not the winrar, and you just extract into the GAMMA/groks mod pack folder, it will warn of files that are already present

I just finished installing gamma I have the new launcher and all 446 mods but when I run the game I get the error: OpenAl can’t create sound device it did open fine the first time I ran it but no sound played so I closed and reopened the game using the option of anomaly launcher and clicking restore default user .Itx this has worked in the past but now I can no longer even open the game.

It looks like it be a mor encompassing issue than just something with BaS, I just made an educated gues because most of the issues stemmed from BaS filenames for me and others I saw, but not al of them like in your case.

If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).

• Cut and paste or drag and drop the installer_resources.7z in the folder GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources

Thanks. Also I was confusing the V6 fix with the other posted fix for the stealthcrash thing. I meant that hopefully the stealthcrash bot command fix will fix everything, if not then I'll do the V6 update then try it, and then worst case just try everything again after a fresh install.

what worked for me in the end:
drag and overwrite gamma launcher with v6 (download last one from the list with least downloads, its the newest)
do !v6fix
disable AV realtime protection, make sure you still have exclusions to gamma and anomaly folders
launch gamma launcher as admin, leave all options checked as is default
run update process

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

whenever I loot a corpse, I become unable to loot any inventory or loot container, (stashes, corpses, etc) with the exception of mutant bodies. While in this "state" I can't change the brightness on my NVG either, any ideas on how to fix this? I can still "drag" corpses around, and the only way to fix it is to save and reload. I have a weird issue, suddenly most of the enemies begin to teleport left and right, this includes humanoid and enemy NPC's, they teleport mid fight and teleport after death.

I've think I have hit a weird bug. It happened right after I raided the Freedom base. A blowout occurred and then immediately I got swarmed by like 7 Chimeras. If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).
• Download this: https://gofile.io/d/E6Q79Y
• Cut and paste or drag and drop the installer_resources.7z in the folder GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources
• Right-click installer_resources.7z > 7-Zip > Extract Here . This should look like the image below once the extraction is done.
• Launch the GAMMA V6 Launcher from your desktop and click the "Install/Update" button.
• Delete the installer_resources.7z once the update is successful to save some space on your drive.

It's probably because the launcher set you back to default 🙂 including your MCM settings

Same dumb issue, got it post-update to V6 launcher and updating the modlist. Currently can't even update gamma again anymore because it stops in the beginning due to

I found that following the update instructions to the letter made the 6.0 launcher get extracted to the file path below where it needs to be.
Copy the extracted files up one folder and then paste it, it should then ask you to overwrite 17 files and then you'll know you're all guchi mane

It looks like with a new save they look mostly ok. I say mostly because still there is a something slightly weird about the size of the weapons and the way they are held. Compared to the older save i have though - on that one some models look whack and he way they are held, looks like the game thinks you have an AK and the model is of a sniper. It is not consistent, some NPCs are like that and some are normal. And this ss is with a fresh save - some weapons still are weird

Hey, not sure if this is a stupid question that has been answered a million times already, so please ignore me if I'm being an idiot. After updating my game, all my artifacts have reverted to 20-22% efficiency, and all my mutant hides have defaulted to 100% efficiency. Is this a known bug? I had a few nice ones at 98% efficiency, so a bit sad if I have to grind them up again.
