If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).

• Cut and paste or drag and drop the installer_resources.7z in the folder GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources

Did the brightness go away after you loaded in and played for a while? I notice some spots when I load in get really bright and then tone down after a few minutes. Other than that I can suggest tweaking the brightness settings in the in-game settings (NOT Mod Configuration Settings).

For your second question: check your FOV settings. The default FOV is 80 and the HUD FOV is 0.65

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
   🔹 If you need to keep your savefiles, type !save in #🤖bot-commands
2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.
   🔹 If you don't have both Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 .zip files, download them again from Moddb or get them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands
4. Right click the 1.5.1 zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
5. Then, right click the 1.5.2 update zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
6. Launch Anomaly, once you get to the main menu, exit the game.
7. Go to your G.A.M.M.A. folder and delete the ModOrganizer**.ini** file, found right under the ModOrganizer**.exe**.
8. Now, always inside your G.A.M.M.A. folder, go inside the .Grok's Modpack Installer folder and open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin, press First Install Initialization and select your Anomaly folder in the popup, don't open it, you just need to select folder.
9. Untick/deselect all the options under the Install/Update G.A.M.M.A. button and press it to install and finish.

Appdata temp files are good place to start. Other than that, old stuff like games you don't play and such, etcedera, old programs, anything you don't really need on your drive. If you're uncertain, check what the program does beforehand.

If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

My companion is stuck and i've activated quick companion teleport in MO2, but the keybind doesn't work even after changing it in MCM. Seems my companion is ~200m east of Dark Valley's eastern border fence somehow.
The readme says to put the gameplay folder into my game directory, is that done automatically by MO2 or do I need to do that manually? Also does it mean the Anomaly or GAMMA directory?

2. Go to your C:/Windows/System32 and look for a file called Robocopy.exe
3. Copy this file and paste it in GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources.
4. Remove Robocopy_10.exe from this folder and rename your recently pasted Robocopy.exe to Robocopy_10.exe
5. Relaunch GAMMA Launcher** with admin rights**, it should be fixed

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:

If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

Is it only me or the recent update has messed up the disguise system?

In past playthroughs whenever you were disguised, if you came up to the faction you're friendly with in the outfit of the opposing one they would aggro very quickly - this doesn't seem to be the case anymore

Tried multiple fractions and locations + reinstalled the game from ground up to make sure it wasn't just my install

Can someone else try disguising as the enemy faction to the one you're native to or friendly with and see if that's the case for you as well?

Can you try it on your end? Should be pretty easy:

• go hide somewhere
• spawn enemy faction armor via debug or put one if you have it already
• put it on
• get a confirmation message about disguise being active
• get in the face of the opposing faction (which is originally friendly to you)
• and see the results

I think I’m fucked but what could have caused this and is there any way to fix it. I recently downloaded The Finals and I know that includes it’s own anti cheat with it but I see no reason why it would do this when any anti cheat before worked with gamma fine. If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).
• Download this: https://gofile.io/d/E6Q79Y
• Cut and paste or drag and drop the installer_resources.7z in the folder GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources
• Right-click installer_resources.7z > 7-Zip > Extract Here . This should look like the image below once the extraction is done.
• Launch the GAMMA V6 Launcher from your desktop and click the "Install/Update" button.
• Delete the installer_resources.7z once the update is successful to save some space on your drive.

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin. Make sure only “Force zip extraction” is enabled.

Ok, so in the announcement, it's not made clear. From what I see going on in here, I'm deducing that we use the "!sss" command instructions to install the new SSS mod? What about the Atmospheric mod. Is there a command for that?

So if you update gamma through launcher, it should now install SSS and atmospherics updates for you and have them set up correctly when you launch

Ahhh! Ok ok. Thank you. I'd like to add, however, there aren't any specific instructions on what to tick, or not tick, as well as whether it's a hotfix, or big update. I typically abide by the installation instructions under #💽how-to-update depending on what he says.

Yes, "Delete Reshade DLLs" was automatically ticked ON for the 6.0 Launcher Update. That's what removed all the custom saturation, contrast, brightness, etc... settings. So, now it's just base-game colors without any post-processing. It was deleted to make room for the new SSS update that just dropped a few min ago. The new SSS update will reintroduce post-processing colors, but in a more efficient way so that it doesn't tank your framerate as much as Reshade did. I'm just confused on how to install it the proper way

I just updated with the box for deleting reshade unticked, so in the mean time I have reshade

Open up your MO2, find Screen Space Shaders, check the version tab by moving cursor there

You will get a pop-up

just type MCM in your MO2 and under GAMMA Fixes there should be MCM values something something, you just have to rename it and when you update there will be two files, uncheck the one that says to rename
