If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. Go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and launch git-bash.exe
2. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter.
3. Launch GAMMA Launcher again and click install.
4. You might have to do this for the 3 git folders, aka Stalker_GAMMA, gamma_large_files_v2 and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger

1. In order to collapse the categories in MO2 you need to:

• 1. Sort mods by Priority;
• 2. Close the categories by using the arrows on the left side. (First picture for reference below)

2. Screenshot your MO2 by using Shift + Win + S.
   Do NOT crop too much, your MO2 screenshot should look like the second picture below.

disable the mod GAMMA Reliable Animations Settings then launch the game and look in MCM -> FDDA, and then enjoy crashing out when you put an artifact in a container or when you try to place a sleeping bag because fdda anims do that in addition to busyhands

There have been some changes made to the files AFAIK (no, I don't know what sort of changes as I don't know squat about the technical stuff 🙂 ) I would recommend updating and keeping the updated versions of files otherwise keeping older versions may result in crashes like the one you are having atm.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.

4. Right click the 1.5.1 zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".

Hello, I ran the Christmas update, and my net connection (stupid wifi) dropped for just a little bit while it was handling mod 22 - Agressor Reshade. After it tried a few times and gave up, it moved on and the net cxn was good by then. Update finished, and mod 22 Agressor Reshade has the Red X on it. Can I just reinstall this mod to fix this (sorta like I'd do for a busted mod)? Or do I need to run the Gamma installer again or something? Thanks!

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

yes, but the delete reshade checkbox is selected by default, because you wont really need reshade with this newest update. to get reshade back, run the gamma launcher as admin again, untick all boxes, except the delete reshade dlls.

I believe you should be able to select the existing path. I updated my MO2 like an idiot but last time I used pure vanilla Gamma it was 2.4.4 but I updated to 2.5.0 and I don't see any problems.

If you have installation issues related to github errors (for instance "untracked working tree files" "Aborted" errors) in the V6 GAMMA Launcher black window, do this (the result should look like the picture below):

• Go to the GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources folder (GAMMA being the folder where you have GAMMA's ModOrganizer2 installed) and delete the 3 following folders: gamma_large_files_v2, Stalker_GAMMA and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger (highlighted in the image below).
• Download this: https://gofile.io/d/E6Q79Y
• Cut and paste or drag and drop the installer_resources.7z in the folder GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources
• Right-click installer_resources.7z > 7-Zip > Extract Here . This should look like the image below once the extraction is done.
• Launch the GAMMA V6 Launcher from your desktop and click the "Install/Update" button.
• Delete the installer_resources.7z once the update is successful to save some space on your drive.
