Is there any explanation of exactly what was changed in regards to the companion system? The announcement says it should be harder to recruit companions, but I have not been able to recruit a single one ever since the update. Even reloading an old save back to when I had two companions and firing them does not allow me to recruit them again, when I always could prior to the update. It seems like something broke with the update, and looking through the search results for companions in this discord, I'm not even close to the only one having issues.

If you have enough RAM, yeah. You can also try enabling the prefetcher mod. If you have major stutters, there's a mod called turn this on if you stutter which can help too.

How do I fully disable auto-save, It's disabled in my settings yet it still happens. My reasoning is that I have lots of memory issues, and I crash half the time I go into a transition, but disabling it has helped a lot (it has come back of course)

aaah, fair enough. the Vikhr is just amazing at short to medium range due to the combo of super silent, low recoil, high RoF, and high damage

the way the game works, "scope 1" and "gun A + scope 1" and "gun B + scope 1" are treated as completely separate things. you can't just tell the game, "every gun with scope 1 attached should have variable zoom from 1x to 8x", you have to go, "Gun A + Scope 1 should have variable zoom from 1x - 8x and Gun B + Scope 1 should have variable zoom and Gun C..." etc. etc

so that's why not every gun + scope combo is set up

"ADS" means "aim down sights", no it's not a mod. "Adjust Scope HUD" is the mod that lets you change how close/far a gun is from your face, using the Numpad +/Numpad - keys. I showed you to the MCM page for "Adjust Scope HUD" so you can change these keybinds and adjust the MP5 position

In terms of task immersion it should be able to try the taks again. Maybe a new psy-resistant helmet is required because the other one got scorced. This could make it harder to cheese. The helmet could be a consumable that is destroyed every time going in.

Found it. There's an MCM for Free Zoom/FOV The last setting in that menu set all the way UP to 1 pulling the slider down makes it zoom in more.

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

beefs nvg changes the input time from a simple press of the nvg keybind to a longer key press

as for the headlamp, should be a simple quick press where as a longer press would trigger a laser if you had one on your equipped weapon

Should I update?

I followed the instructions to update with the hotfix, and it ran fine, and when it was finished i tried to click on the launcher, which promptly stopped responding. After waiting a long time, and it still not responding, I closed the window. I reopened the launcher. I don't know if it didn't install correctly. Would it be a bad thing to "update" again?

Re-extract your GAMMA RC3 into your gamma folder again and run the launcher, click install/update. Make sure you disable any and all antivirus software and whitelist both your gamma and anomaly folders.

I had the same error. If your using a custom profile in mo2 you need to revert back to default gamma profile and remake your changes if you updated recently. The update doesnt work with custom profiles.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
