I just ran "Verify Installed Version" from the GAMMA launcher, and it is telling me I have the following corrupt files/exe's. Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling GAMMA?

Note: the game has been running fine since I installed it maybe 20-30 hours of gameplay ago. I wanted to verify the files because I noticed a faint white-ish flickering.

Hey there, I asked this yesterday but didn't get much response. Is there anything that has been added recently that would significantly affect CPU performance? I am running on a fairly high end machine (5900X, 3090, 64GB RAM) and whereas I used to get 100+ fps even in dense areas, i am hovering around 75 fps with the same settings. I am fairly certain this is a CPU issue because changing e.g. reshade or texture size has no FPS benefit. Use the db unpacker and search through the ltx files for keywords relating to the mission. It’s not the easiest, I’ll grant you

And to avoid searching through multiple files one by one, download VS Code or some other code editor, open the config folder containing the ltx files from within vs code, then ctrl+F while in the explorer side pane

Does anybody experiences after 0.9.1 update often game freezes. Nothing in the log as the game froze and I need to shut it down from task manager. Sometimes game runs for hour without problems then it frozes 3 times in a row after few minutes, while I progress further and further in-game.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

It seems to be related to spawning ammo into their corpse to loot, is there a way to fix this locally, or is it possible to deactivate ammo spawns entirely, kill them, then turn them back on until I encounter the next problematic Stalker? the crash happens when the game attempts to spawn old ammo as a result of that setting that you enabled, so yes, you need to roll back to before it tries to spawn old ammo in any lootable inventory

If you have a "dark screen" after updating:

1. Open your Mod Organizer.
2. Find mod Screen Spacer Shaders 18.0 > Right click > Reinstall mod.
3. Enable everything BUT DON'T enable SSR WATER ICE and MANUAL (as shown in the picture below)
4. Press OK > Replace.
5. Delete the shaders_cache folder that you can find in your Anomaly\appdata folder.
6. Load the game, it should work now.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:
2. Open your GAMMA Launcher and check if you have the latest launcher, which is 5.0.0.0.

Make sure to launch the Gamma Launcher as Administrator, click again the update button, check MO2 afterwards. Sometimes the installer doesn't work properly without admin rights

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Ok, i have been looking for a while and the only potential fix for that obscure error that I have found is to reinstall the base anomaly game. Basically just redownload anomaly with its update. I'll give you some directions.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
   🔹 If you need to keep your savefiles, type !save in #🤖bot-commands
2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.
   🔹 If you don't have both Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 .zip files, download them again from Moddb or get them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands
4. Right click the 1.5.1 zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
5. Then, right click the 1.5.2 update zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
6. Launch Anomaly, once you get to the main menu, exit the game.
7. Go to your G.A.M.M.A. folder and delete the ModOrganizer**.ini** file, found right under the ModOrganizer**.exe**.
8. Now, always inside your G.A.M.M.A. folder, go inside the .Grok's Modpack Installer folder and open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin, press First Install Initialization and select your Anomaly folder in the popup, don't open it, you just need to select folder.
9. Untick/deselect all the options under the Install/Update G.A.M.M.A. button and press it to install and finish.

Yes VERY outdated. You don't have to reinstall everything but it looks like you have a pretty old install. You could try updating or just start fresh, up to you. Make sure you get the latest launcher from #💽how-to-update and run it as admin. DISABLE all antivirus software while you install/update.

So you are supposed to have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 some things that could be going wrong:
-Your anomaly and gamma folders need to be in a root directory like C:\Anomaly not in your User or Programs folders
-You have an Antivirus running that is false flagging mods or scanning while downloading
-You haven't whitelisted both Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender which causes the same issue as above.
-You don't have the current version of the launcher, 5.0
-You might not be starting the launcher as Admin (mandatory)

Fix anything that is wrong and run the installer as admin again and run it. It will only pull what is missing NOT redownload everything.

Sometimes a mission in red forest is blocked off due to dynamic anomalies spawning in the mine tunnel. You could just go do something else until an emission occurs or go to sleep, which usually triggers one.
