Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

5. Zip up a copy of the game log. The log is under your Anomaly folder in appdata\logs.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

The installer is manually hundreds of mods from both github and moddb. Shit goes wrong sometimes. Frankly I'm done arguing with you. Run the installer again as admin. Try using a VPN. Keep an eye on the black console window when you run the install again.
Also, make sure you are installing to the ROOT of whatever drive you are using. NO windows protected folders like desktop or program files.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

yes and no. i turned off and enabled the same things that i had for the previous like 3 or so most recent builds of Gamma with this most recent update. DX9 works fine but also alot of the nice DX10 feats are missing obviously @tender forge

i used the same tutorial from the framerate optimization channel to get rid of reshade and didnt have issues with previous builds so idk

i can just post the crash log if that helps. something about THM chunks missing which sounds important

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

got this error/crash, after relaunching the game now it runs at 35fps for some reason, before it ran at a smooth and constant 60, i have a 3070 so it should be more then needed to run it at 60, even the big city ran at 60 and now rookie village runs at 35.

At this point I am through all the crashes I think. Now I immediately get the busy hands bug when equipping any weapon at all. Every save I start, the second I want to do something, my hands get locked up and I can't do anything. I've started several saves and this is happening every time.

I have a similar problem I think, not the crash part but with the fps. I'm running the game with a 3090 and an Intel 10900k, but only get 20 fps in Rookie Village. Granted it's in 4k and everything maxed, but I really thought the system would be able to handle that with atleast 60fps. For now I'll play a bit with the settings and look if I can get those fps up

Hi, was curious if anyone else had this issue where the drop down (if there is one) for disassemble misc doesnt show up. I haven't messed with the keybind and the other disassemble systems seem to be working however even with the boxes checked it doesnt seem to disassemble misc items.

Is the fix for the Fort-12 and Fort-17 pistol aiming down the sights deployed yet by Grok? Had the issue pop up on a Merc starting Fort pistol, at least after I once lowered it, then nothing got it back up right

On Sept 29, 2023 the To-Do list mentions a planned fix, but not sure if it deployed or not. I had thought it worked prior to the last hotfix, but maybe I remember wrongly

You might want to check the FAQ on Campfire Saving, if you simply can do everything but f5 quicksave, and check your Keybinds in Settings first that it is what you normally use for quicksave. Every update your settings can change, if you don't save them, same for MCM, FAQ talks about all that

Ok. I had a really weird thing happen. I was playing fine last night, when i come back to play today, the desktop shortcut says it can't find the dx11 anomaly

I go and have a look, there is a dx11, but its been renamed to VerifiedDX11

I rename it to AnomalyDX11, but then the mods dont apply to it anymore? anyone know why this could have happened?

Its an outdated script. I must have old files in my Stalker gamma that have not fully updated. A full reinstall of GAMMA SHOULD fix this issue if this fix doesn't work for you!

Tdog, you could try to see what your settings and MCM Menu settings are. I would first check in Settings off the Main Menu in the game, check controls, keybinds, and check that Quicksave is the key you are using. That's first. Second, I would check in the MCM Menu, I want to see if the MCM settings for the YACS, I think it is called has the right saving conditions enabled.

Tdog, then after that, if nothing else works, I would check that I did not turn it off in the SETTINGS off the Main Menu, that's a no-no and will probably break things, if YACS is on. I think YACS talks about that. Then after that, if all that fails to show the issue, I'd look at Mod Organizer, and make sure I didn't disable something there. But, like I said, it is covered in the FAQ channel here, under something like Campfire Saving -- I'm not supposed to be giving answers in here, i've been told I'm too talkative and often inaccurate.

If you’re overclocking your GPU, just revert it back to default and try to play. Completely solved the problem for me anyways

you still need to tab out anyway to set cpu affinity turning off cpu 0 (mostly for AMD users i believe)
