this log overwrites every single time you start the game, so all i'm seeing is that it successfully opened to main menu and then presumably you quit it.

if the crash does not always result in the same error, and if you can't trigger it reliably, there's very little we can recommend anyway

Ok, so I got the new launcher ready (did not realize it was an entirely new launcher. I thought updating the old one was how you do it) I assume I press the update button but when I do this error comes up. Is it safe to conitnue with this? Will this wipe my current stalker save and if so how can I move my save over to 5.0.0.0/9.1?

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  • Re-plug in your headphones or speakers before you start the game
  • Play any kind of music or sound file as you open the game, e.g. music on your PC or on Youtube

@steel ingot To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

I have a strange issue. About 20-30 hours into my playthrough Hunting Knives in general stopped working. I can't equip them, quick melee, or skin, and the knife I had disappeared. When I add a knife in it with Debug menu it 'equips' with an animation I've never seen before, has no place in my loadout, and I can't bring it back into my hands after.

Persists in new saves. This a setting I've blundered and changed, or a new mod I'm not familiar with?

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Hello, I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right directiom. I have run all the programs in Admin mode so far in regards to updating and installing the latest versions. If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

Hi, Usually I edit some armor like give it more belt slot, more resistant and carry weight with the config file from db_unpacker then put it in MO2 then it work like charm.
But since I update to 0.91 yesterday this doesn't seem to work properly anymore like I give nighthunter 4 base belt slot so it got 5 after upgrade but no matter what I do it stay at 2 base slot.
So are there any other way to modify these thing?

sorry I think animation might be the wrong term for me to use, it's more like my characters model and the screen kind of lags and the screen moves chuggy occasionally for brief instances of around 10 seconds. It's a bizarre issue i think i might just reinstall the game πŸ‘

Been playing Gamma for last couple days, enjoying it alot but only issue so far is that my PDA seems to bug out
when I bring it out, if it's on map section, map itself doesn't load in until I switch tabs from map to any of the tabs and then back to map.
but it bugs out when I put it away, have to re-do it everytime when I bring out the PDA.

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

How to get rid of the Ecolog Semenov.

  1. Turn on the debug menu: #β•­πŸ“–faq message
  2. Launch the game and load your save file.
  3. Now press F7 and then press on the NPC Logic/Execute button.
  4. Copy and paste this into the command line:
  • task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("yan_ecolog_semenov_task_1")
  1. Click: Execute
  2. Now aim at the Semenov and press F7, then press F
  • You should see object info text on the left ( as shown in the picture )
  1. In the same window type: release_id xxxxx ( The x's are his id number that you should see under Object info )

ah i see now in the launcher cmd prompt it does say an error; Unable to save shortcut ''C:\User\Desktop\GAMMA Launcher.lnk'' Sounds like it tried to create a shortcut to the GAMMA Launcher, which i may have already had, my question is could I create a shortcut of the MO2 instance of GAMMA that is launched when clicking 'play' on GAMMA launcher?

MO2 does have a built in shortcut creation feature under the 'run' button.

Could I not use that? to skip the extra tab of the GAMMA launcher?

got a weird problem with framerate, did a fresh install a couple days ago and the game ran on avg. with 90fps but today it keeps close to 30fps even though nothing was changed. Graphics settings are set to default except for AA & SMAA Quality which I changed on day 1

  1. Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete these 2 mods if you have them:
  • anomaly_fdda.zip
  • anomaly_fdda_patches.zip
  1. Download both files, DO NOT EXTRACT.
  1. Place them into your GAMMA\downloads folder.
  2. Run the GAMMA Launcher as ADMIN.
  3. Uncheck every box, but leave "Force zip extraction" box checked
  4. Click install / update G.A.M.M.A.

quick question i have freshly installed the new version of gamma and im having troubles with my key bindings , is the ammo wheel supposed to apear automatically when i press the reload key ?Im asking because in the previous version of gamma i didnt have that issue. To clarify my weapons reload button is R and the ammo wheel is Y but when i reload a weapon R is not responding .I also unchecked unjamm key in mod organiser.

@torn berry Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

@steel ingot To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

1) Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
2) Uncheck every box
3) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.
