You could try setting the frame limiter ingame to your monitors refresh rate, should have a similar effect as VSync without the input lag

Was curious if anyone had a suggestion on how to fix a weird minimap glitch I have? In my Mod Organizer settings I have only Compass instead of minimap selected. Yet somehow both a wide rectangular shaped minimap with a compass minimap overlay over it shows up in the upper left of my screen. I have tried disabling the compass mod or the squareDOV (only compass is selected now) yet no matter what I change or do the minimap is always like this. Thanks in advance

Hey guys. So I mentioned it before, but was not able to figure it out still.
Is there a way to change the way gun materials look in Gamma? In the previous patches they looked fairly crisp, but in the recent ones they have this weird matte "melty" look to them, you know. A bit rubbery even, in some cases. Is there a way to fix that? It's not ENB related, that's for sure, since disabling ENB didn't help with it.

Yeah, but do it in small increments (0.05). If you turn it up too much, you'll get like 2000 stalkers in the zone and 12fps.

I changed it to 2.0 once out of curiosity, it was heck.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.

Salutations! I seem to be having an issue with GAMMA. the resolution, whilst set at 1920x1080 (as that is the native resolution of my PC) seems to be bigger than that, as text is oversized and when launching a savefile, it is cut off as well (and PDA messages take up half the screen) I can't seem to find the option to fix the text issue, does anyone know how to fix it?

Fexzz, there has been some discussion that putting such artefacts and things with condition into corpses or chests, seems to reset on a save and reload, once at least, after that maybe not. If I load a save after crafting 99% efficiency compass and I load the save the efficiency drops to 20%'s, and this change persist on any save that the compass has existed in. I tried this 3 times with same result (efficiency dropped to 19%, 25% and 27%). I would have posted this on bug suggestions, but didn't have permission

I've been having a rough night with bugs. Examples are -- Companions keep bumping into me, during even combat, even if told to stay in place. Before the 0.9 series, this didn't happen. Then I've got this Cursor bug on transitioning. What happens is the Green Radiation Mouse Cursor shows, I can't really aim, but I can move the camera. Only solution to get back a regular cursor, is to scroll wheel to the Map, then it goes away. The Green Cursor is since 0.9.1 series. Then there is an additional Companion bug that's been around for me for a long time. If I give a Dialog Command, it doesn't recall it in the Companion Mouse Wheel command display, and vice-versa. I use mostly vanilla Gamma, I just have the Body Dots on Mini-map on, and a few others turned off. I literally had a series of these happen around 40 times in the last 90 minutes of play. Like 5 times more than usual. Really frustrating.

Looking at the script files in GAMMA, lots of things check the movement state of the player via IsMoveState('mcCrouch') but I only see the camera_reanim_project.script checking if the crouch key is pressed: if crouch_flag and (key == bind_to_dik(key_bindings.kCROUCH)) then

I tried turning off crouch effects in the camera reanim project mod config menu (which would make that statement false) but it had no effect, so I don't think camera_reanim is causing the problem.

I copied what was in MO2 itself, and I DON'T KNOW what's going on with the game.
From what I was told by Russian support, the game runs on the processor instead of the video card. The other games are fine, it's Stalker that's buggy. I switched automatic switching between CPU and GPU to GPU, but that didn't help. I was advised that I should enable run as administrator on DX, but this completely broke the launch of the game.

I would start with just plain updating and see if that works. If for some reason it doesn't then do a clean install. So download the latest 5.0 launcher with the instructions above, then just start it as admin and run it. Leave all boxes checked in their default state.

pay attention to the black console window when you are running the update for any errors.

No problem. I think some helpers are getting a bit fried after the pure chaos that is a big update like 0.9.1
We get swamped with hundreds of people in here. Considering multiple thousands of people download the gamma modpack there are several that have issues for a variety of reasons.

Did you start with a absolutely fresh install of anomaly. Not the one that you played on before that might have mods in it?

Sorry man, Gamma absolutely requres a completely fresh Anomaly install that has NEVER been touched by mods. It may seem strange especially to a seasoned modder but you need to consider that there are currently #📍577-mods-in-mo2 being applied to base Anomaly.

If even the smallest thing is out of place or modified then shit implodes

Sorry man, this must be user error. That error can only come from the anomaly update not being installed properly. If you absolutely feel like you installed anomaly and its update properly then try re-downloading the 1.5.2 update and apply it again.

Or if you are in Sally's shoes in having a previously played and modded Anomaly install.

Hmm. It seems there is a reading of instructions issue. You were supposed to start Anomaly once before running the gamma installation. That creates your user.ltx and anomaly configuration file.
