Maybe run the launcher again, with all options disabled, and "delete reshade dll's enabled"

If that trully fixed your issue
You can could then just play the game without reshade, and punch in a console command to load the correct color grading for the game

you should be able to install gamma normally on your SSD since a large portion of the download is done through the GAMMA launcher although you may have to delete the compressed files before fully downloading gamma through the launcher in order to stay below >90% space used

no idea if i'm stupid and this is a common bug but my game instantly crashes when loading from a new game. As in, it goes through the loading screen after spending my points and then just suddenly crashes. I can provide crash logs if needed also. Have just got done with a legitimately 5 hour install process due to how large the 7z files are but if a reinstall is required I wouldn't be surprised. I downloaded from moddb for the record so torrenting might have been a better option but the links weren't as easy to click and it seemed like a pointless diversion even though I already have qbittorrent installed for very legal reasons.

I get it, the sun is bright, so is stuff shine on by the sun, but looking out the window right now, with the sun shining, the whole world isnt covered is a over saturated, almost bloom like effect.

When the sun in this game shines without cloudes its like someone is using a giant spotlight from behind you.
Everthing, even your own guns lights up like a nuclear explosion.
I would have to reduce gamma that much that literally every single shadow is a blackhole that you cannot see anymore to fix this.

The only fix so far was to completlely disable sunny weather and replace it with cloudy one.

I think NPC see me through the walls. In recent encounter two bandits at bloodsuckers village get into different houses and started to shoot me through the walls, that continued into them trying to grenade me. Aaaaand they grenaded themselves. One occasion is fine, but twice is very suspicious.

That is a common error after the last update and as far as I know there is no fix for now. Try to mess with your audio devices(unplugging and replugging etc.)

Mexican Jesus, what I do know is that usually if you had closed the PDA with a certain TAB at the top open, and then re-open it again, it often does not display or is not updated. Switch to another TAB of the PDA and then back and it refreshes and works. Other than that, dunno. So like try Messages then Map and see if it appears, etc.

has anyone ever successfully solved the se_target error as with the one above?
getting the same exact one. i'm assuming that there's some specific task from a stalker that is causing this crash:

1. the script is called tasks_measure.script
2. the crash usually happens after a fast travel or sleep during which an emission occurs, or immediately when an emission's kill window begins.

If I had to guess, there's some stalker who's dying in the emission, which causes an update to propagate to their stalker task, that is causing this crash (since tasks often update after a timeskip, when an emission during the timeskip kills (?) a bunch of actors)

Anyway, I agree with your rationale, there often are problem with some scripts in the past after emissions. Almost Best Girl, in those tasks, there would be potential for numerous issues. Examples like -- Anomaly changes position due to Emission, target mutant dies or is replaced with another type, or any contacts if still out in the storm like NPCs could die. So sounds like a potentially hard one to script.

BenNidal, others won't suggest this, but for me I found that it was very helpful a few weeks ago to disable 2 of the mods I otherwise don't use. One was Autolooter -- reason being it will be constantly checking for corpses for proximity to you to autoloot. The other is something about Blood Pools and Tracks -- this likewise is checking for feet going near blood to then trigger via proxmity and activate checking often -- I found disabling both gave me 40 more fps or 1.67 times as much as before in total

You can disable these in Mod Organizer when the Launcher brings them up.

They are mods 294 and 300 I believe, but check names

There is a workaround somebody found. Open YouTube in your browser and play any video, then just launch the game, while the video is playing (you can stop the video when the game launches). It is weird fix, but it worked for me and others in here

i wanted to play the game but then the error showed up ( it never did before ). Tried to find some fix on the Gamma discord but didn't find anything. The only thing that i did differently these last days was to play with the instant replay activated in case something fun happened in game ( i usually record my whole play session to put it on youtube but this time i only needed only some footage here and there.) i remembered that when instant replay is active it shows a microphone symbol in the notifications are of the taskbar of my computer and since its a sound problem i thought that i could just try to launch GAMMA now but i didn't really believe it would change anything, but it worked^^.
so i shared it here and it seems it works for other poeple to.

My theory is that the game is unable to launch a needed sound software (or how to describe openAL) for some reason, probably something with the last update, since that introduced this error to more people and since the game needs it, it gives error and doesn’t launch. Playing YouTube video activates that software, so the game checks, that the software is running and doesn’t see any problem and it launches. But I am just a basic PC user with no programing experience, so I might be completely wrong.
