@zealous island Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #🔨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click “OK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

Have an issue with Sid's shipment quest. Found the dead body, but I get the "Nothing useful on dead body" message and can't loot the shipment off him. Any workarounds?

I'll try that, though I'd have thought the quest was pointing at a specific case, not just any case.

Yeah, no dice, spawning Sidorovich's Supplies doesn't do anything. I either need to unlock the body somehow or use scripts to move the quest forwards.

Tried disabling GAMMA NPC Loot Claim Remade just to see, but that just crashes on launch.

  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 5.0 is the newest)

I still have the problem where I cannot use the new version of the loadout system. Everything is base GAMMA, but I still have old version of the loadout system, even though its the newest version.

Guess will ask here, how to know after which update it is save to use your backups? I got both mcm settings backup made and user file too, as far as I know some of updates update mods or theirs settings so my mcm backup will overwrite them then how do I go with it ?

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

@rain wigeon You haven't updated Anomaly to version 1.5.2, this is why you have this error.
If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE EVERYTHING when asked to do so
  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete Atmospherics_GAMMA_x.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

Only issue is it doesn't really work. I mean, it worked first time I played, but then it stopped, and I never had dynamic music again, no matter how much I tried to get it back up and running. It worked again this update, but now it's broken again.

Hello, I am new to Gamma and I would like to know how to get this game to work. I have installed all 411 mods, but I am experiencing a lot of bugs:

1- As soon as I touch any graphical setting, the game crashes.
2- There is a 50% chance of the game crashing at every loading screen.
3- Loading screens are extremely long, I feel like the game hates AMD processors.
4- When I finally manage to launch a game, there is a visual problem: the game is in black and white (the ground is white and the sky is black).
5- The game stutters even with the "turn it on if you stutter" mod.
In general, the game is not stable at all, to the point where I have to ask myself if any action I take will crash the game.

In short, am I the only one in this situation? Are there any solutions?

I can't hold any of my weapons / equipment in my hands in GAMMA right now. Pressing number keys, scrolling mouse wheel, none of it works. I have weapons and equipment equipped in inventory, but I can't actually cycle through actively using them. I also cannot bring up the PDA or anything like that. Basically I'm stuck being unarmed and can't cycle between anything.

What might cause the animation files to get missed by the Launcher? I just installed the GAMMA pack on a fresh Anomaly install. It said install was done, and MO2 did not report any flags on the install.

Yeah, I checked the teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger.zip I already had in my \downloads folder and it was 41 MB. The one I am downloading now from Google Drive is 669 MB. Definitely did not have anywhere near the data originally.

Hi, I was doing the Eviction Notice quest for Sultan when an emission hit and I assume some of the targets were deleted so I can't complete the quest after clearing the area out. I tried looking for the quest in st_quests_gamma.xml to get the string to try and resolve it myself with the console but I can't for the life of me find it

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

every time your game attempts to load an expected file which is missing, it will crash. you're not circumventing the 3000 character models added by Dux's or whatever, legitimately better to redownload it. right now because you have multiple missing and corrupt installs i'm making you run the launcher again. if, after that, you still have missing/corrupt mods, we can see about manually reinstalling those specific missing mods

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

Hello all, I haven't played since 6.0. When I did I couldn't play as my game was pausing every 10 seconds for no reason when I had more than recommended specs. I tried the stutter fix but it didn't work sadly and game kept pausing every 10 seconds for no reason. Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed if they suffered from it previously like my self. Okay this was unexpected. Booting the game in DX9 gives you three DX9 renderer choices once in game, from Basic to Enhanced.

Even on DX 9 Basic I got a total of 7 FPS increase compared to DX11... and of course it looked like the day Shadow of Chernobyl finally released.

Looks to me like that is a corrupt or missing weapon scope file, specifically the SKS PU scope. Nothing to do with a hotfix. Might need to download gamma_large_files_v2.zip and / or teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger.zip again.

Look at the LUA error it shows you though. It's a squad script error. So it's an AI / NPC related issue, and STALKER being a sandbox with A-Life running around everywhere, not all AI scripts are running at all times and places.

@strange vapor To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Hello everyone, just installed everything by the guide and the game starts fine. Two "worries" though:
1- Is it normal that every time I change something in the options and hit apply, the game crashes? Seems to retain the changes tho
2- Best way to avoid having tiny winy text in 4K res? Is there an upscaled ui mod somewhere (can't find any option in MO2 modlist) or do I have to try set the exe with windows upscale compatibility settings?

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete Atmospherics_GAMMA_x.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 5.0 is the newest)

Many downloads will be very small indeed. Some are many gigabytes in size. Just depends on the addon in question.

Each time a hard drive seeker moves it causes wear. Each time literally any machine in the world does anything it is designed to do, it causes a small amount of wear. I don't see your point here I'm afraid. Complaining about archive extracting "wearing" out your SSD is like complaining starting your car in the morning to go to work is wearing out your starter. I mean that's what it's for.

You do not have to worry about SSD write lifetime unless you are on a first generation 2D cell drive while running an active database from it. Just don't worry about it. Even heavy modding, game reinstalling, downloading, and whatever else daily activities will not wear down your SSD.

I think my armor upgrades are broken. Ballistic resistance upgrade on armor doesn't seem to do anything. Values stay the same as pre-upgrade and Resistance bars on the bottom don't change either

Ok just for everyone to know:
If you play in 4K to get the 4k font you have to download the 4k fonts for anomaly from moddb (the one from rene13cross).
You have to unzip the files somewhere and copy them (to be sure, copy the files, not the folder) then when you start MO2, beside "RUN" you select "explore virtual folders" instead of "anomaly launcher".
There, you go in gamedata-> textures -> UI and then on the upper bar you just click "paste".
Done!

Is there a fix to resolve this issue when starting gamma with multiple monitors? happens both with fullscreen and borderless and is quite annoying. alt+enter solves it temporary, but the mouse is missalligned afterwards.
(checked both troubleshooting and known issues, but didn't found anything)
