When I open the game and load up my current save I get hit with "shader compilation failed, check you log file for additional information" and so far resetting my shader cache and replacing the user ltx file haven't worked. I did enable some mods unrelated to shaders (unless the stutter fix has something to do with them) and changed keybinds and stuff, but none of that did anything until I changed my smaa from off to high and my grass settings a little bit. any ideas?

They can be tricky to find sometimes, and I really reccomend trying to "triangulate" the signal itself. It can take a bit to do, but works.

Then when you believe you are in the region, you can hold F to attempt to help locate the package.

To attempt to help you a bit more before you leave, I recommend updating your graphics drivers, and "deleting shader cache" after the update, see if the shaders will recompile.

Mods tend to behave very strangely, even if you believe they do not effect shaders, they very well might.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

I could find only one other instance of this error and they fixed it by updating. They were using the old installer though. Then they loaded the previous save to the crashing one and were able to get through Limansk.

If you stand in the big couryard of the building where the loners are, its the buidling directly north. Hello have a new problem unfortunatly.
Im in the very last instance of mission afterglow, and after the dialogue with strelok where the quest would be done (to my knowledge) and the screen goes black and streloks squad should dissapear. There I get a CTD with the following message.
I would be very content if there is a way to unlock UNISG faction via console or similar, because Im pretty sure that it's the last dialoge before the quest is complete.

To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the other factions.
Another good example, ever played GTA? Do a "GTA cheat" in the character creation screen.

hmm. That path is definitely not what is instructed in #🖥️how-to-install . The xray engine does not do so well with long paths which is why people are instructed to put their install in the root folder of the drive. D:\Anomaly and D:\GAMMA.

Do you have full permissions on that drive? Not as in yes its in my computer but does your computer USER have full permissions?

Your error generally pops up when people screw up by installing where they shouldn't, don't have permissions to the hard drive or screwed up something else with the install.

Usually, DATA (D:) means its a external harddrive, just from my experience. Im going to assume probably no on the perms

This falls squarely in the research it yourself side of things.

Right click on the drive in 'This PC' -> select properties -> Security Tab -> Click Edit -> Select Users -> tick Allow full control then OK. Depending on the size of your drive and how full it is, it could take a while to change the ownership of everything.
Like I said, this is squarely on your shoulders and I am not responsible if you muck it all up. You should honestly start by moving your install to the root folder of your drive.

So I went back to the save beforehand and it does it every time I complete the mission. Im Loner, its in Cordon from the guy standing outside the traders bunker, its the escort 2 guys to the other side of cordon and kill some shit and come back mission. If you close the dialog you cant claim it anymore, but after you finish it if you keep the menu open you can just spam claim the reward and the 6500 RU as much as you want. Im sitting on 2.5mil before the game crashed out.

Very first mission in the game, 15 minutes on the save.

If anything, I would make a copy of it to your desktop or something and then copy that over into the mod folder.

But idk anything about the way this thing is coded, so dont take my word for it lol, id trust the helpers

Your not deleting your mods, just the extracted version of them. When you move everything it just re-extracts the mods. That is the best possible way to move your install.

4. right click and reinstall it. select all three boxes then REPLACE in the last window.
