Are there plans to change NPC loot claim? This new remade version is buggy af, sometimes it doesn't let me loot some bodies even tho I killed them myself. And what's much more devious, it can softlock out of "find body" quests like Sid's courier or Radio Silence, because player didn't kill these bodies, so you cannot loot them

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
6. Open the launcher with admin rights
7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

There is nothing obvious in your crash log and with no visible error when crashing it is quite difficult to diagnose.

Also make sure your Anomaly and GAMMA folders are whitelisted in your antivirus and windows defender.

It's really odd that something is causing your save game to fail after adjusting your file name... it's potentially unable to locate the file. Try to check the spelling of the file and make it exactly what they wrote in the guide.

If it's case sensitive it could be having trouble "finding" the file

Not that I am aware of. You can get radiation protection quickly in game. I believe some light armors and most mediums will have enough to counter the effects. Sorry if it's limiting your gameplay.

You could always see if maybe there is a mod on moddb for taking the radiation out, but god help you if it conflicts with an existing mod lmao

My flash artifact thinks that it is mercenary armor for some reason, it still has stats just apparently I can repair it. but i cant. Anyway, anytime i put the flash into a container then reload my game the efficiency gets set to 100 and when i pick it up it gets randomised between 35 and 10 percent efficiency. I have this problem with another artifact I just forgot the name.

I somewhat recall that last time when I played GAMMA, that used to happen, but now it just doesn't. Did I fiddle with the options and totally forgot about it? I want to play this mod exactly the way it's supposed to be played

Its important to remember that this is a game that is about 12 years old that has a mod pack of 380 (active) mods all jammed together. The immense amount of work that went into create this mod pack is staggering. However, that being said, if you read directions and follow them precisely then you wont hardly crash at all. That being said if you instantly go into game settings and MCM to tweak the ever loving shit out of everything then you will start to crash. Remember, Grok did not make all of these mods and did not create MCM. MCM is just a way for you to tweak mod settings. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Its still 380 mods that could start conflicting with eachother if you take your clean mod list and start taking a hammer to it.

On top of that, the installer is fetching all 470 something mods from ModDB and Github. If you have any internet issues or those services don't deliver a mod then you will crash. It's a delicate balance.

It was from yesterday it might be, I got this game a week ago, had 2 major crashes only when I start up the pc the next day. So I didn't have a launcher until today, only an installer. I didn't play in a while. And then I just followed what was said at #💽how-to-update. I only did the first thing though, with the launcher. I just downloaded it, unticked what had to be unticked and hit update. Had to wait almost 2 hours for some zips to download and unpack, made a character.. all good in Rostok, then crash as soon as I left for Wild Territory.

Ok using the new launcher as Admin, you need to run a full update. All boxes checked except 'Delete Reshade'.
Keep in mind that your saves are likely from before the 0.9 update. Most of those are lost to the zone at this point and wont work. You may try enable Pre 0.9 save fix in MO2 but your save will die eventually.

But for now run the launcher and retrieve your missing mods.

Hello! Sorry you bother you all, i was hoping somebody could help me identify a problem. Everytime i load into a area, or load a save itself, all the limbs(head and chest too) heals completely. So no matter how much damage i have in my limbs, they will always heal when i load the game in any way. Does anybody got any idea on what is the source problem, or how to fix it?

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Yeh i got it a few times when I was changing vid settings, eg AA SMAA, game would stay loading for a long time (like it was building shaders) then when it loaded everything went gray like your screenshot.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Honestly long path names only lead to serious trouble with this ancient game engine. That's why the instructions say to install them in the root folder of your drive being one folder deep for each. C:\Anomaly\files and C:\GAMMA\files.

A lot of functions are bound to other hotkeys. For example Laser is the same as whatever Headlamp is (L). If it isnt in game keybindings or MCM keybindings then you can't change it. Keep in mind that the keybindings for switch scope and switch silencer remove them from the gun. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the scope keybinding.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I had a problem with food animations with all the items being pitch black

so I followed the food animation fix and reupdated, I then got this new error.
