Hey. I've been having a weird bug with stash markers. I seem to have been getting some "anomaly" stash markers with debug stuff in them. I did use the debug map once because I neded to find some squads and turn them friendly after a campaign-ending mistake I made.

These markers show on top or below of the normal Gamma markers. They list contents which are partially right and include items that are not in GAMMA, so I know they are some kind of Anomaly marker. The issue is they don't go away after searching the stash

I have a bunch of those on my map. They always name the specific name of the box or crate where the stash is generated, they list some contents (which are mostly right, but sometimes include other things that are not in Gamma, like the mod kits that get switched for Gamma equipment upgrades)

All I really want to do is delete those markers bc they are confusing and they make it look like there is an active stash there when there isn't. They are also larger than regular markers so they make it hard to know if there is a real stash marker underneath

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

Not a bug man, artifacts spawn in certain areas. Just shoot it out of the anomaly. anomalies also spawn in certain areas due to Dynamic Anomalies.

the A-Life in Stalker GAMMA work like this: when you are killing bandits, duty, monolith, looting stashes and stuff, the world around you also move (i think only work if you have Offline Combate = Full) so if you accept a mission to delivery a package and its faild, its because: The guy who you acept the mission die or his buddy die

The same way work when a mission complete: if you have a mission to kill some guy and the guy die to mutants or other stalker, lets say "you complete the mission"

The pre-0.9 Saves Fix. What I meant by that was there are frequent updates and since you just updated from 0.8 to 0.9 you now have several updates that make pre 0.9 saves less and less likely to work due to changes.

Soz. I was going to the great swamps pump station for a defense mission. I'm trying to go to it now after failing the mission and from a different direction to see if it still shits the bed on me.

This is one of those few situations where it is a relatively easy fix. That can happen sometimes with that mission. Long story short, just reload a save before taking the mission then take it again. We think that sometimes there is an issue with one of the renegades having an item spawning issue, then when you get close to the pumping station it crashes when loading that character in.

I hate essentially flooding this chat, but: maybe worked. It crashed after I completed the mission w/o an error message, I retried Cold's defense mission, and it crashed again when I got to the pump station.

It really depends on how you ask. Guys that have a chip on their shoulder or complain usually get met with shit talking. Just lurk and jump into a conversation if you are wanting to level up. It is largely dependent on time of day for which guys that are in the chat.

Well before I go to bed. Think about the flip side of the situation. We have have hundreds of thousands of registered users. With many being idiotic assholes who don’t give a shit about common courtesy and will spam every channel. Most don’t give two shits and will fill the suggestion feed up with meaningless nonsense trying to make this game more like escape from Tarkov or call or duty. Adding a tiny barrier of experience needed literally stops 90% of them from posting. If someone truly cares about helping then they will put the minimal amount of effort required in to unlock that channel.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

So coming back in and tested a few things. Gamma Launches to the game. Tried to load my save which is a pre .9 save. I have the tickbox enabled on MO2. I try to start a new game or even load my save. It gets to the loading screen and then I get the windows sound indicating a crash. I don't get to see the error message produced by Mo2 and my entire system when it crashes stops for a few seconds before closing the engine down. Is there any tips or rather suggestions or idea what may be causing this problem entirely?

My saves don't work all of a sudden. All my saves are from .9 as I was just playing last night. I've reinstalled and updated and have 380 mods in MO2 with no flags. So I just booted up fir the first time in a couple months. I was in Yantar. And did a task then went to run to Rostok through the WT...well I got this error every time I tried. I updated the game, still happens. I ran south to agro, fast traveled to rostok and that worked. Once there I ran to the WT and got the error again. Game crashes hard to desktop. The only thing that changed from last time I played till now was I bought a new graphics card. I've only been to the mentioned places so there may be other locations that cause this too but so far only the wild territory does it.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I hope you could help me with this issue because I didn’t find any solution on the discord.

2 days ago, I began to notice weird micro stutters. Before that, the game run smoothly for more than 80 hours (>70 FPS). The thing is these stutters are “not really” related to framerate. It is like the game skip some frames but according the FPS counter, the game remain somehow stable.

I’m not sure if that’s related but the micro stutter thing start after I’ve completed the arena. The more I explore and discover new areas, the more stutters are noticeable.
I tried the “0core” + the “Turn this on if you stutter” and tweaking the alife.ltx. I also tried to check/uncheck the “support for AVX CPU” and the “Prefetch sound”. I tried to disable the “offline combat” in the settings > the zone > general. I finally tweaked my NVIDIA panel (“low latency” check/uncheck, “Triple buffering” on/off…).
The only amelioration I could obtain is when I delete all squads in the cheat menu in game. Even then the stutters are a bit noticeable.

I have a good hardware: RTX 3080 + 32gb ram + AMD Ryzen 5 5600 X + the game is installed on my SSD. I installed some mods for weapon animations and mutant retextures.

it's extremely dependent on hardware and settings configuration up to and including drivers... i would not say it is expected, but it is certainly common, and the older a save is the more likely it just... happens

Sorry for the question, since I started experimenting with the reshaders on Gamma, my game became very unstable (memory_management blue screen), trying to play on AtmosR+ and Autumn_New. I can play games in ultra with no problems, like Metro Exodus, I have a 1080ti and 32 GB of ram but I just want to know if my PC is not matched for those shaders yet and I should leave it with the default Gamma shaders.
