Hmmmmmm, it could just be an audio "bug" and my thought process is that the game is attempting to overwrite the sound by playing something else while the audio is playing. I.e. it's beginning the "grasscrunch.wav" or "gearswaytinkle_tarkov.mp4"

I wouldnt say reinstall. You could always try and tried and true "update" on the launcher. See if anything corrects.

There's even an option in mo2 to "reinstall" mods in the list, and had always worked for me. I really hope this helped. You may need professional help if that doesn't work. Maybe one of the helpers knows more than I do

I've looked through the history on discord, and there's a number of russian posts that don't really lead anywhere and then some mentions of the C Redistributable. Thing is, my game has been running fine for the past few weeks, and I'm at 379 for my mod list after disabling the zone transition mod. Only thing I can think of is recently updating Halo Infinite, which I believe reinstalled the C Redistributable. Would that actually have made an impact? I've been through multiple emissions since then though.

Im playing monolith and just turned in a mission at Yubileiny Service Center to the dude there and i keep crashing after i sit there for a second when im already out of the dialogue

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt

  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hi, I have this strange bug with weapons.

  1. Weapons one-shot enemies but if I'm stealthy and give headshots.
  2. Weapons remove some HP but next shots don't.
  3. Weapons don't do any damage. Like enemy health bar doesn't even show up even if I'm standing right next to him.
    All my weapons are in good condition, I fixed them all. I have KS-23 Boar and G36K, all their parts and weapons themselves are 100% condition and functional. And I have all types of ammo and use them by purpose. I don't shoot across whole map, I'm literally next to enemy NPC. The only way for me to kill is go melee with knife, axe or sledgehammer but rn I'm in the end of main story there many Monolith soldiers, chimeras and pseudo-giants. It's hard to melee rn.

Other than melee weapons grenades also work, but I need good timing to use them. IDK why weapons don't work, played earlier version of GAMMA and didn't have this issue. I searched all game settings, all mod settings but I didn't find (or found out) a setting that changes weapons like that. Could this be possible that Expedition graphics can tweak weapons? When I installed GAMMA I didn't run it first, instead I just copied Expedition graphics files into Anomaly root folder.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so

  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

I would like to ask a general performance question cause I think something ain't right with my game's performance (I just reinstalled GAMMA, no issues during installation) - my RTX3060 is constantly at 90%+, even after I brought settings down to optimize them accoring to the manuals here - at 1440p. Is it just the game's issue having 380 mods and being on a 20+ year old engine or could there be something on my end? I struggle to maintain 60fps with drops to 50ish about 50% of the time. You can try playing with lower dx levels to squeeze more fps
in #🤖bot-commands !dx9 or !dx8, to setup the modlist to work with lower dx levels

Also playing gamma with Anomaly dx (avx) can cause performance issues, as it focuses usage more onto cpu rather than gpu

Yeah, I get that, there should be no bottleneck and my CPU seems to be chilling. What I'm asking is should a RTX3060 equivalent be so stressed out on ~optimized medium settings that I can't maintain 60fps? Also, might've been pure chance, but switching from fullscreen last night to borderless seemed to bring my GPU usage from 100% to about 70% even though the tutorial here recommends fullscreen. I'll stick with experimenting with that and AVX, and other things. Thx @still agate I'll try that too
