ahhh, you mean for install. in that case, yes, when you install for the first time you do need a working connection and specifically, the ability to access moddb

but once you've installed, if your game works, you don't have to touch the launcher ever again (if you don't update). you can just play the version of gamma that you have installed

every couple corpses that I loot, the all corpses will be unlootable until I save and reload the game. It's not game breaking, but its extremely annoying and happens every 3-5 corpses

Hoping this is the right place to ask: trying to run a pristine GAMMA setup in 16:9 with black bars on the left and right, on a widescreen monitor. No matter what resolution or window mode I pick, the game ends up stretched to the full monitor size. Normally one can fix this by using display scaling or GPU scaling settings, but neither of those seem to work on this particular game, either. Is this a Anomaly/Gamma thing and is there some form of fix for this?

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

Also there are videos on helping your wifi quality by changing crap settings in, either/or "control panel" & "system configuration" that might help/fix it but i forget the exact instructions.

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

@untold flame ill give you an example, if you have a 6 month old save, and then you randomly decided you want to play with Mags Redux, that specific mod require you to keep enabling it once it take effect on the save. That mean from that point on you must keep the mod active or else it will crash your game. but any point before that, those saves can load without Mags Redux (meaning those save files from before you enabled mags redux don't need it, but any saves after enabling mags redux will require it to be active or else it will crash your game)

Trying to start a new game on a fresh install of Gamma. The install itself went fine, 380 mods and whatnot, Anomaly also works, but Gamma gives me this crash on every attempt. I've tried updating/reinstalling everything again, and then once more for good measure. The install process always goes well, but I still get this damn thing. Should I go for the full nuclear option and download Anomaly/Gamma again, or could it be something else?

The game is now running but the trees doesn't have leaves (which previously had amazing leaves and green grass) and the grass is looking like shirt, all brown and dry...

Maaaaan busy hands is the worst bug ever. I get it maybe once a week or two and have to go back like a half hour in saves each time, and usually not even doing anything crazy. Last time it happened was during a really fun gunfight with Sin in the Antenna Complex in Zaton and I wasted like 8 or 9 of them with a couple nades and the Raptr shotty - there was some jumping and shooting due to some sketchy situations but I wasn't spamming heals and quick melees or anything (I don't quick melee, I feel like in earlier versions quick melee was the most active cause of my busy hands stuff back then), didn't even need to heal during or afterwards (UNISG Nosorog man, and of course Spartan Helmet - might as well add that I also got my SVDs PMC back in this save, so yeah alongside the Raptr - I'm stacked) and when all is said and done, I pop open the inventory and double click to smoke a cig, and bam. Dude puts the gun away but never brings a cig back up, inventory locked, the usual - man. I wonder how many artifacts I had to leave behind since I didn't even loot yet, had to go back about 20 mins in saves . Time before that all I did was turn in some missions to Sidorovich and while walking out of his bunker I got hungry and ate some stale bread, and bam, busy hands.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

I think since there is a bit of a "climb" mechanic, any vertical surface that is even a pixel above that threshold (including some stairs) will cause you to sort of "climb" each step rather than smoothly going up it like a ramp. Just a guess.

Cuz you can climb some waist high surfaces by just walking into them, not even jumping.

And thought the geometry on stairs being stairs-shaped is a good idea

When I say climb mechanic I mean your character will sort of latch onto and scale some vertical surfaces similar to one.

You can jump into something too high to jump "on" to for example and your character will sort of catch the corner and drag his way up.

I don't mean like a wall or fence that is taller than you by the way, I mean something maybe above waist height that is still too tall to jump high enough to land on (like some cars or some of the cement barricades like in Garbage, even some parts of the fence lining the Train Tracks in Cordon, etc), but anyway. I'm not saying it's implemented like say Dying Light or whatever, it might even be a bug, but I always call it a climb mechanic because it immitates one.

1. Delete everything in the folder
2. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin
3. Disable:

• Force git download
• Update large files

Когда вы закончите перемещать всё на новое место:
