You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so

  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

Go here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.0
Scroll down and download dxvk-2.0.tar.gz then open it like a .zip file.
Double click the .tar file inside to open it like a folder, then keep going until you can open the x64 folder.
Take all the .dll files from inside the x64 folder and place them in \Anomaly\bin and overwrite.

I've been playing through the mod pack, and I have not seen a single zombified stalker (the armed ones, as opposed to the regular zombies)- not even near the sawmill, which is usually their hangout. Is there a mod or setting I'm not seeing that affects them?

If you want to bring back the Russian voice over for the Mercenaries.

So a couple of days ago I tried playing this game and I kept getting an error as soon as I loaded a saved game. I got the new launcher and the problem came back when I tried to load in. I wiped the game and saved my saved game files. I did a clean install and it does work when I create a new save but not when I load my old ones. Is there anything I can do to save them? Does anyone know anything about this?

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Hmm strange, so it crashed on me 3 times at the same spot when I asked for help, but now it's working? the only difference is a restarted the gamma launcher and the mo2 between, and I can't get it to crash, either way thanks guys if it crashes again I'll come back

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

  1. Go to the link the Helper has provided above (or below).
  2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

Hello, I'm having an issue in darkscape where I am crashing I get the included error message. It only happens in Darkscape, I'm guessing it has to do with loading the assets of one of the "driveable" cars. You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Go close to the companion and open the debug menu. In the console of the menu type
Get_nearby_companion the console will return something similar to this
Sim_default_stalker126017 (might differ based on companion faction).
Next you take the companions id(in this case 26017) and type
Release_id 26017
this will β€œkill” the companion
Note: Retrieving the companion’s inventory isn’t possible as this despawns him from the game

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

Can't you see the distance changing under their health on the right side of the screen as you walk? I know that there is a radius for commanding companions with the C menu. Also, I think you can see their name in the C menu when you are close to them.

Hmm, The original command that I saw for deleting a companion says that the command is all lower case with the underscores between each word. Does the command return like it's working? When grim responded to you the Get is capitalized. Some games are super picky about case sensitivity.

I will try again. So a couple of days ago I tried playing this game and I kept getting an error as soon as I loaded a saved game. I got the new launcher and the problem came back when I tried to load in. I wiped the game and saved my saved game files. I did a clean install and it does work when I create a new save but not when I load my old ones. Is there anything I can do to save them? Does anyone know anything about this?

This happens when mod organizer moves locations. Did you recently move the install folders from one place to another? Generally it will pop up a window right afte that to remap the game location.

Go here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.0
Scroll down and download dxvk-2.0.tar.gz then open it like a .zip file.
Double click the .tar file inside to open it like a folder, then keep going until you can open the x64 folder.
Take all the .dll files from inside the x64 folder and place them in \Anomaly\bin and overwrite.

If you wish to remove it again then remove the .dll files and type !k98 in #πŸ€–bot-commands

It would probably be good to know if you are crashing when playing any other games too. The fact that you say your gpu is shutting down hints towards a hardware issue over a specific game. Or perhaps crashing due to getting to hot.

ok to explain my reasoning. those kinds of download errors can happen if:

  • you are blocked on moddb
  • the launcher doesn't have write permissions for the filepath
  • downloaded file is corrupted
  • wrong launcher version (most commonly people are trying to use the pre-Apr 2023 launcher, 3.8)

or connection to github is boned, but since the file that is failing to download is hosted on moddb and not github, that's not the case

1.) Download the file from GitHub, by pressing the Green "Code"button>Download zip.

This is dumb asf. I have $600 dollar wifi and an ethernet cable and my downlaods are like 400kbs when the should be 30mbs+ its only on this new computer i got last friday that its been doing that. Idk why. Nothing is wrong with my internet its like my pc isnt getting it or something

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

  1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
  2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
  3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.
