Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers

Hi, I'm fairly new to Stalker and had a quick query. I've noticed AI getting stuck fairly frequently (seems to be mostly animals such as Flesh and the mutant cats). They just run on the spot until I kill them. This is around Cordon and the Swamp. Are these known bugs? Do I have a setting set wrong? I'm pretty much playing on default settings for Gamma Anomaly. We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

  1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
  2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
  3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Hi, I have crafted Headlamp w/ 1PN93 NV for the first time, but after equipping and turning on the NV doesn't work.
I can hear the turn on/off sound.
I am running with DX11, and in Reshade I have selected AtmosGamma.
I already got NV update on binoculars, and this works, it lights up all green.
I already tried to save/load, and restart the game.

2) Uncheck every box

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

So as could probably be assumed, having the dest string error on launch. Was playing fine, and only started happening after I had went to apply a change in grass density settings. The game crashed while the apply was being performed, then relaunching I got that error. Is a full reinstall really the only way to correct said error?

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:

Hello, so I updated my gamma the day before yesterday and it worked fine or the first day but into playing the second day it crashed and will not reopen again, anyone able to help me out?

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

hey im having some issues after i had an update to the modpack yesterday. my pda's tasklist refresh option isn't working anymore, my health ui in the bottom left isn't showing my stamina and my limbs are all blacked out except my arms which shows has no health but the full orange bar. i also cannot transition between zones. i have 380 mods installed and have no idea what to do and am wondering if this can be fixed without having to reinstall

To remove fog from Screen Space Shader perform the following steps.

1.) Go to GAMMA\mods\190- Screen Space Shaders 15.0 - Ascii1457\gamedata\shaders\r3
2.) Open the file check_screenspace.h with any text editor
3.) Insert // in front of the line #include "check_screenspace_FOG.h"
4.) Save the file
5.) Delete the folder Anomaly/appdata/shader_cache
6.) Play the game

1) Add Gamma and Anomaly folders to the Windows defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.
You can find the settings here
Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings

i have no issue with the rest of the animations. its just the animal skinning one thats rough. but i guess you cant just turn that one animation off easily

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Hi, I have an issue where I can't go in to Rostok. Game crashes everytime I try to go there. Other places work fine. Fast travel doesn't work and neither does walking there (changing levels normally). I got a huge stash there so can't really just cope with it.

Hello, I searched already for this, my game stutters / gets choppy without much framerate drops when I look towards fires, mostly fixed light sources such as the barrel in UNISG start, I've played the modpack last year this was still an issue for me but since then I got a new motherboard and cpu updated to 0.9 and it still happens.
Tried turning on vsync, switching to borderless, turning on "turn this on if you stutter" but none of those worked

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
