1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:
2. Check if you have the latest launcher (3.8 is too old)
If you don't, do 2), 3) and 4) of the !40 command and move to the next step)
3. Disable antivirus temporarily
4. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Exclusions
5. Open GAMMA Launcher as admin
6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

ok, game still stutters but less frequently (i guess it happens when im loading new terrain)

it runs pretty much better, constant fps and almost no stutter

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

I again tried to reload the same save after i noticed it was still bugged, and it crashed while loading, predictably. These are the error messages i received. You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I tried my other 2 most recent saves and they were bugged as well, but there was a delay until I'd hit the same problem. So, once a few minutes had passed, they would bug out, compared to my most recent save which was basically bugged the second you load it. Also, i was able to load a save from a few hours back from my 2nd or 3rd most recent save AFTER it had bugged out. So i'm really not sure what the problem is. It seems like my game is fine if i load a save from a couple of hours ago, but im concerned im going to run into the same problem. Not sure what caused this file corruption or whatever it is.

It seems like your game had some corrupt mods when you started playing.
Those mods most likely cause a form of busyhands derivative bug, they are notoriously hard to track down and even harder to fix.
At this point all I can officially recommend you do is start a new save.
You are of course free to keep trying increasingly older and older saves, should you have an attachemnt to your progress.

The addon is called meatchunk's prefetcher or something like this

I'm getting wierd bugs with lighting and shadows in GAMM. Walking around buildings with the glowsticks, I get shadows jumping into and out of the frame. Looking down ironsights makes entire chunks of lighting disappear too. Not seen much on this from a search. Any tips on what settings I may need to tweak? SSAO?

GAMMA Launcher/Updater server is down. It tries to ask server for what mods it should look for and where, and it can't get the mod list from server.
As far as I understood what's going on in your case.

in our case we were looking for a fresh install, so we needed a different file (mods.txt)

I still have no idea how workable current solution is, but at least it's installing.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Yes, the solution was to install the 0.7 version of the mod hunger , thirst, sleepiness bars. The 1.1 update caused problems. You can install the old version or wait for grok to fix. Im not on my PC rn so I can't guide you as easily to the right file/how to do it

Anomaly has a limit of a total of 65535 objects (IDs) in the game. Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers. If that ID number reaches 65535, the game crashes, and you won't be able to play anymore on that same game file, unless you "free" some IDs.
You can lower the amount of used IDs by letting items despawn or by selling/donating them at any trader.
