Honestly, I've been through this half a dozen times since the last update. That mod has failed to install every time. I'm not in a rush to do a full update for it to break it again. I was just looking to see if anyone had a quick fix before i delve in there and fix it myself.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:
🔹Add your Anomaly folder to antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
🔹To keep your savefiles type !save in #🤖bot-commands
🔹Now delete all content inside your Anomaly installation folder
🔹If you no longer have both anomaly zip files then acquire them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands (or if this is your second attempt)
🔹Move both the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 Anomaly .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder
🔹Right click the 1.5.1 file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here"
🔹Then right click the 1.5.2 update and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here"
🔹Launch Anomaly to the main menu once, then exit the game
🔹Go to your GAMMA folder and delete ModOrganizer**.ini**, found right under the ModOrganizer.exe
🔹Now open the GAMMA launcher as admin and press First Install Initialization and select your Anomaly folder in the popup.
🔹Now untick/deselect all the options under the Install/Update G.A.M.M.A. button and press it to install and finish.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

  1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
  2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
  3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Send your crash log where it was asked IF YOU ARE BEING HELPED, not inside #🤖bot-commands if you're using this command in this channel. You won't be helped, it's literally just a channel where you can use commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

well gonna post an update in here now. I have a problem where the game crashes once I want to enter Rostok. the game starts to crash mid loading telling me of Memory issues. Don't know exactly how that can happen since I have an AMD Ryzen9 5950x with 32 gig of ram and an Nvidia 3080Ti but hey maybe that is not the actual problem, who knows. I have now completely uninstalled Gamma and went back step by step to reinstall Gamma as the instructions told me to do so. The error is still the same meaning game is fine on the other maps on my save file until I go into Rostok. error message will be posted below with translation.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.

alright so I tried different things out. so far game still crashes when I enter Rostok with my original save file. however it does not crash if I start a new game. my savefile was already saved by 0.9 but the root of that savefile is from 0.8. I have played like 8 hours on 0.9 without any issues but it just happens when I enter Rostok. I have tried different DX-AVX with the lowest being 9 but to no avail. I have the Pre.09 Saves fix in MO checked but that also didnt helped even though that savefile worked previously before, only rostok is the problem. shall I still put the xray logs in here and if yes do you need multiple or just the one with the crash report? if that issue is to hard to fix I guess than I am probably forced to start from new which would be sad since I have exo armor and expert tools and a lot of artefacts of tier3 maxed out.

sorry to bother but if anyone else is having the problem that when you buy a gear your faction turns hostile to you, instead of re-enabling the "gamma economy" mods, you can turn on "trader overhaul" mod and that fixes it.

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:
🔹Add your Anomaly folder to antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Open Gamma Launcher as Admin
9) Uncheck every box, but leave Force zip extraction box checked.
10) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

this log just says the game is starting. my best guess is that your antivirus has already deleted/quarantined some game files. since you have them in exception, it won't do that again, but you may have to reinstall the basegame to start

I'll just stick with vanilla anomaly and haul my PC to my relative's house one day so I can have a fiber connection and then I can download and play gamma. But I have extremely slow internet that averages like 300 kbps and the only thing that ever downloads without problems is torrents.

Also, what youre asking is impossible, stashes in gamma have randomly generated content, stashes in cop are special set of items chosen by the devs once to be always rendered there, laying on the ground in the world until you pick them up, thats why you can find it with no info

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:

This is what you could find:

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Hi! I've got an issue that while I'm in game, my screen flickers/shimmers a lot. I don't loose the picture nor do I have any lags. It's more like if the gamma or brightness gets changed few times a second with varying intensity. I play in borderless mode and both windowed or fullscreen did not help. The moment I alt+tab (while still having the game window visible in the background, shimmering goes away. Would be extremely helpful for any help, as this behaviour is almost traumatic for the eyes 😄

I'm having an issue with my game crashing every time I try to enter Cordon after retrieving the Wish Granter Shard with Strelok. The game will pull up the loading screen and load normally until its just about to finish, then it crashes. This is the error message that comes up every time:

I'm having an issue with my game crashing every time I try to enter Cordon after retrieving the Wish Granter Shard with Strelok. The game will pull up the loading screen and load normally until its just about to finish, then it crashes. This occurs whether or not I'm using the standard mod list or my personalized mod list. This is the error message that comes up every time:

Many weapons are repositioned/ aren't appearing in hand at all. The 1911, and the TOZ-34 from loner loadout both have this issue as well as many others. Any advice, or is it known bug?

A possible fix for health HUD related 'busyhands' on load/transition:
Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Hi,
I'm seeing these green particles\dots inside buildings and the open world, they are more visible in the dark especially if I use a torch.
Tried looking into the in-game visual settings & mods that could be the root cause for this but wasn't able to find anything, didn't find any documentation for this issue either.
Doesn't happen in any other games.

Im getting this error after about 20 seconds of loading into my the game, i never had this issue until i installed the project INVERNO snow mod, any idea how to fix? i would rlly like to keep using this mod

Managed to resolve this by going to the shader menu (default key - "Home") and enabling some of the Anti-Aliasing settings:
OMAA_2
FXAA
SMAA

Enabling these shaders reduced the extreme sharpness I had and smoothed the edges, additionally I've enabled additional shaders to get a better picture (to my preference) with a cost of 10 fps on average (went from 116 fps average in open world to 107 on high settings with 150% texture detail):

SharpContrast
Glamarye_Fast_Effects_with_Fake_GI
Lightroom
AMD FidelityFX CAS (for a cleaner look, without it the picture is still too sharp to my eye)
MagicBloom (makes it a bit brighter and gives more life-like colors)

Hope it helped anyone besides me as I didn't see anyone report this 🙂

For future reference, the download of GAMMA RC3.7z from "gofile io" peters out quickly after it starts. My current speed is 300 KiB/s when I've downloaded the Anomaly torrent at 11 MiB/s. Location: Germany. Browser: Firefox.
I suggest putting this archive on torrents too.

I updated the modlist and created a new warfare character and I'm noticing multiple instances of "unkillable" enemies (won't die to gunfire but will die to repeated knife stabs) ranging from zombies to controllers. Anyone else ever have this issue or know how to fix it?

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:
2. Check if you have the latest launcher (3.8 is too old)
If you don't, do 2), 3) and 4) of the !40 command and move to the next step)
3. Disable antivirus temporarily
4. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Exclusions
5. Open GAMMA Launcher as admin
6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.
