Hello there, so after a succesful installation i am getting constant low and fluctuating fps with stuttering. Load times last 1 to 2 minutes. Putting a cap on did help the stutters but it did not remove them. Problem is i have to set the cap at 45fps on a 240hz monitor 😦 .
I have followed the fps optimization guide (that includes removing all shaders), lowered most of my video settings, tried both fullscreen and borderless, and ticked the box "turn this on if you stutter". I also went over many different optimizations tweaks, debloatings and clockwork guides for the desktop.
I am very grateful for this compilation of mods but the huge toll it takes on performance makes this unplayable. Is there anything I haven't tried? I won't mind reinstalling the whole thing if need be. FYI I was getting a comfortable 200 fps with no stuttering on Anomaly alone. Thank you.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I got it working by re installing anomaly+gamma then use the update method again in #💽how-to-update (even after gamma initial install/update) then before starting a new game I untick the "item swap animation" on in-game setting and now it works no more "busyhands"

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

I messaged in this thread earlier about this error and tried some of the suggested fixes (enable pre-0.9 save mod, re-update to 1.5.2) but I'm still getting this crash whenever I try to travel to Cordon.

I've been trying to debug this issue myself for the past few hours and have tried a bunch of my past saves (I manually save at the end of each mission). I've also tried fast traveling to Cordon from multiple different locations as well. The only saves that appear to work are those from wayyy earlier in my playthrough....

does it seem like I may have to start a new game here?

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything. Instead, do this:

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

should be fine then, if you use unlimited stash mod just make sure you have it on if you're already loading a stash past its normal capacity

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

I have some early pre 0.9 saves from over a year ago that do allow me to load into Cordon/Rookie Village successfully though

@jolly ginkgo hey i think i figured it out. i was moving around in a "sleep" area. i think that was popping me out of ads for some reason. as soon as i moved away, it was fine.

1.) Go to [YOUR GAMMA folder]\downloads and delete the files

gamma_large_files_v2.zip
gamma_large_files_v2.meta
2.) Download the file from GitHub by clicking the green button "Code" > Download zip.

DO NOT EXTRACT THE ZIP FOLDER

3.) Make sure the zip file is named:

gamma_large_files_v2.zip
Rename the archive if it has "-main " at the end.
4.) Make sure that the very first folder in the archive is named
gamma_large_files_v2-main
5.) Move the archive to [YOUR GAMMA folder]/Downloads.
6.) Launch the GAMMA Launcher as administrator.
7.) Disable:
"Force Git Download"
"Update Large Files"
8.) Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.
