You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
6. Open the launcher with admin rights
7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

In-game settings

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything. Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace.

A possible fix for health HUD related 'busyhands' on load/transition:
Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

ive been running up and down the red forest pripyat outskirts limansk and jupiter hunting named stashes and green stashes for 22 hours of playtime now and i still cannot find a single expert toolkit

Expert Toolkits can ONLY spawn in the northern part of the zone, meaning, only in these maps: Zaton, Pripyat, Radar, Red Forest, Outskirts, Deserted Hospital and CNPP North.
You CAN'T find them inside Limansk, Jupiter and CNPP South.
The rest of the Zone won't spawn them.

when you plug in your headphones/speakers, plug them in first, then launch the game. if you unplug them while playing, you have to restart the game to have sound (old game/engine problems).

Need help solving motion sickness inducing bug with NPC conversations (see video). Tldr camera twitches when there's a conversation. Testing various graphic settings does not seem to affect this

My current setup: GPU: Nvidia 1050 laptop, CPU: i5-7300HQ, 16GB Ram. Using the default setting I'm getting ~30 fps and sometimes drops to 24-25, applying the suggested setting from #╰⚡fps-optimisation message
doesn't provide any improvement, it's like the game is locked onto 30 fps. I also tried steps 1,2,3 from #╰⚡fps-optimisation just made the game look worse, again with no framerate improvement. The only improvement I saw was launching the game in DX9(not 8).
So my question is, is this a normal behavior, and if so, if DX9 is my only option do I need to turn off anything? Because I only found a guide to adapting the game to DX8 in #╰⚡fps-optimisation but nothing mentioning DX9

Hi i've recently updated GAMMA to 0.9, yes i'have 380 mods active and mo2 and everything works fine.
But my zone looks "alive" after update (tbh i prefer it that way in previuous gamma versions 've disabled mods from faq that are responsible for "dead zone looks") , AFAIK Gamma always had the default autumn/dead look.

I'm afraid that something went wrong during installation at the moment mods responsible for that kind of thing looks like that:
Simple Autumn Retexture No leaves - disabled
Gardener of the Zone Textures - disabled
Autumn No Leaves LOD Fix - enabled
Grass Tweaks (reinstall for different options) - enabled but no clue what version
G.A.M.M.A. NPCs cannot see through foliage - disabled

Does something change in terms of default zone foliage look?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

its not unusual for it to take multiple attempts to teleport companions so if it doesnt work first try, move elsewhere and try pressing it a few more times. It just seems to fail occasionally.

Did you get an answer/find a solution to either of these? I think NPC speeds are overwritten by NPC Faster Ractions and 45- Stealth Overhaul, not sure what the default values should be but their danger_crouch_run_forward is listed as 3.8. I wonder if that's what it was originally. They strafe at my sprint speed, it looks kinda goofy.

As for sounds, there's nothing in a single thread that answers this. I think it's some combination of footsteps mods, maybe. Sometimes, footsteps straight up don't play and it's impossible to know an enemy is behind you or was even approaching until they shoot you quite often.

so it sounds like there's an item missing bug, I had something similar. For now, I'd recommend sleeping for 48 hours (in an area where you don't crash, obvs). That fixed it for me. There's also a more 'dirty fix', where you can run the game in debug mode, press F7 and delete common squads. That way, whatever NPC is using this non-existent item is deleted from your world

Note that deleting common squads will fail most active quests, harm relations etc.

Deleting common squads will take about 3 hours or so to repopulate your world to the highest that I found, but it doesn't seem to make too much difference

Yes. The wpn_g36v_rwap_world.ogf is in Retrogues additional weapons, which has no conflicts on a default gamma load order. Its in your modlist assuming you're running a recent gamma version. If you've ever had it on, and then disabled it on this save, you will crash when entering an area that has an npc who spawned with one, due to missing the assets.

I had a look into Dynamic Dialog UI's mod page at https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/dialog-dynamic-ui/page/2#comments and found the developer claiming that the 21:9 issue "can't be fixed"...

So I checked the content of the mod, and found what appears to be a manual calculation for various aspect ratio that was set incorrect for 21:9 by the developer... upon correcting this error the bug is now fixed.

HOW TO FIX THIS URSELF (for future reference)
1. Navigate to Dynamic Dialog UI script folder:
"*\Gamma\mods\267- Dynamic Dialog UI - Demonized\gamedata\scripts"
2. Open "dialog_fov.script" in notepad
3. Look for value "[2.370] = -21.5," and change it to "[2.388] = -21.5,"
4. Save file - all done!

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it

if you have your computer set up a certain way it doesn't show the file extension name, as long as you know it's a zip file it's fine (basically a compressed file that doesn't look like a normal folder)

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

Howdy, just wanted to show that i had a crash on a first run that hasn't yet replicated itself yet.

On a new game spawning as a loner in cordon, i got this squad spawning error. I'm also including my crash log and recreations of what my mo2 was like when it ran.
I had tweaked a few settings, like turning on stealth kills, but nothing touching mutants or squads

It needs like ZCP tried to spawn a stork, something went real wrong, and then "!ERROR: alife_create | section [ecolog_sim_squad_alpha] is invalid!" happened and it died.

My launcher had said that ModDb addons were, in yellow text, "had updates avalible" i believe.I redid the install, now it's green and says up to date, and noc rash.

I hadn't turned any extra mods on but i clicked stuff for more info so shrug figured i'd add it anyway.

I’ve run into an issue with the camera movement. Sometimes randomly when looking in certain directions the camera movement starts lagging and becomes jittery while trying to move the camera. There are no frame drops and it doesn’t feel like normal stuttering, I’ve taken all recommended steps such as enabling stutter fix and tried precaching. Anybody know a fix?
