hey when i run aspect ratio of 32 x 9 the mini map moves from the bottom right hand corner to the top left hand corner and is no longer retained within the compass. when running in a 16.9 ratio its all good. What file can i edit to fix this ? also thanks in advance

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.

1) Download the old BaS version:

2) Extract what you downloaded wherever you want
3) Copy the gamedata folder you'll find inside
4) Open your GAMMA RC3 folder and go to GAMMA RC3/Grok's Modpack Installer/GAMMA/modpack_addons
5) Create a new folder exactly named 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich
6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Open Gamma Launcher as Admin
9) Uncheck every box, but leave Force zip extraction box checked.
10) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:

2. Disable antivirus temporarily
3. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

Hi. So i have an issue with dynamic anomalies mod. Newly spawned anomaly almost killed me on transition garbage>cordon. I spawned right into it. I'm playing ironman and i don't want to die like this cause it is silly. I'm trying to disable the mod and delete existing anomalies but after following instructions in part 1. of picture (tick the box, save game, exit, disable mod, reload) i'm getting error on part 2. of picture. Please, any help would be most welcome.

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

I found a weird bug with the crafting menu. If I try to craft the craft button become unclickable until I select another item and back to the desired item. After this trying to save (not 100%) ends up in a crash, and if I try to load a successful save or trave to another map after opened the craft menu and crafted something it's a 100% crash.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to obtain or buy coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards from completing quests, purchasing stash locations from specific vendors, stalker corpses and by reading and turning in the PDAs that you can find on the** bodies of stalkers you kill**. If said PDA is locked, you'll need to go to a mechanic and pay him to unlock it.

Stash coordinates received from quests or bought from traders will only mark stashes in the regions around where you bought the stash or turned the quest in.
For example, buying a stash from, or turning in a quest to Sidorovich will only give you stash locations in Great Swamps, Meadows, Darkscape, Garbage, Dark Valley, Wild Territory, Agroprom and Yantar.

Is there any fix for this? I'm using dx9 with compatibility patch, no status affects which could be affecting blur. I've tried turning DOF off but with no result. Screen goes blurry and then back to normal and repeat with no explanation. Only occurs with night vision

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

I tried different fixes: double-checking antivirus exceptions, re-extracting the Anomaly folder, and editing init.py in plugins>data>PyQt5. For some reason the only thing that worked was re-extracting the smaller files from the GAMMA folder. I suspect MO didn't extract properly.

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

  1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
  2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
  3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#πŸ–‡old-mods-posting message>

Yes, the mini loading screen appears in the middle of the screen, but then it disappears and the pc makes the typical "error" sound or that it did a task, let me explain? Hey, is it normal for the console to be showing something like:

every second or so? The rate the log goes seems to tie in directly with the microstuttering I'm experiencing at the same interval the console logs its thing

  1. Do you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 3.8 is too old)
  3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under flags next to any mods (like the image)?

1) Go in this folder: [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches
2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

No, that's the thing. My health is at full, all artifacts I have are in either AAMs or LLMCs, I've just woken up, have no hunger or thirst to speak of, health is at 100%. If it's this causing microstutters, which I think it could be, do you know if there's a way to debug further?

I had this same issue! Or similar, I slept for 2 days, but if you access debug mode (F7) you can clear common squads on the right also, and that fixed my issue too. The only problem with the latter is it can fail active quests

Yeah "clear common squads" deletes every randomly generated NPC from the game, which is great if the cause of your issue is something about an npc

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:

2. Disable antivirus temporarily
3. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Exclusions
4. Open GAMMA Launcher as admin
5. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Open Gamma Launcher as Admin
9) Uncheck every box, but leave Force zip extraction box checked.
10) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.
