okay, no grenades were thrown, got through the mission then randomly crashed, do you want the log with my username in the anomaly logs folder? (It hasn't updated in 10 minutes and this just happened) or the "usvfs-20923-04-25_21-33-34" that did just update but its located in the gamma logs folder

As of now, I have tried almost everything from restarting from an older save, leaving the area and coming back, explosives on spawns, went through all the possible compressed anomaly mortal sin quest ids and even changing their syntax as well. Seems more like an internal issue beyond my comprehension.

Urgh... why am I unable to use so many types of optics? They don't attach to rifles they're compatible with, and if I try using them standalone they crash my game. So far I'm not able to use... some of the PSO optics, any of the night vision optics, the 1P59, the 1P78, or the EOTS-62.

In-game settings

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything. Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace.

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Alright so ive tried everything now.
I tweaked everything imaginable and i get a steady 56fps even in Rostok.
I know my gpu is the bottleneck since its sitting at 100% workload while my CPU is chillin at 8%

But as soon as i do a mission like „Defend pump station“ where there is a lot of enemies shooting..my frames drop down to 13..literally 13.
Workloads the same..as soon as the engagement ends..im back to 56 in swamps e.g

Playing with graphics/shaders ect doesnt help at all. The „stutter“ „mod“ doesnt do anything either

if you should overclock anything, it's the CPU, since cpu clock speed actually matter quite a bit in this case

Thats true. Thats why i did the CPU trick by tabbing in and out and enabling one core at a time.

That way sometimes the load spreads evenly, yet nothing changes.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

@last mountain if that doesn't work, which I am hedging on the side that it won't, the only other thing I can think of is looking at the section in #╰⚡fps-optimisation that deals with potato computer (probably just the first part for now). I know you don't actually have a potato computer, but unfortunately AMD doesn't do the single core performance as well as intel CPUs, and that you have an AMD cpu that's on the lower end for single core performance/clock speed

so that would be my suggestion personally

it's ironic really, because an overclocked intel 2700k from 2011 would perform better than this Ryzen7 2700 in term of single core performance

2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

Linux guy again. I fixed the previous problem (and a few other similar problems that came after). I am faced with a new problem. The game launches, but when I click new game it crashes on the loading screen with this error.

biggest problem with laptop is heat throttling and you want as much clockspeed on CPU for the xray engine as possible

quick question - i play on very high FOV (95) and Hud/UI FOV (1.0) and i like how it makes pistols/guns look.
but after the 0.9 patch the hud ui changes also FDDA food/meds animations causing some awful visual stuff

So i'm doing the mortal sin assault mission in the area of limansk just before zoning into deserted hospital, last night I crashed 4 or 5 times, I updated my game fresh before I went to bed thinking maybe that's it, I got on today and hauled ass to the deserted hospital transfer area, game froze and crash no fatal error or anything, at this point I can't get out of this area I just keep crashing. Any help would be appreciated. I will add that since my game has been crashing when I go to launch the game after the crash it often freezes while loading the game and takes an abnormally long amount of time to boot the game up/launcher freezes often.
