Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

I have a slightly annoying issue when I open up Reshade menu with the Home button my cursor travels to my second monitor yet I can use controls in game but if I click LMB if my cursor is on the second monitor the main game window closes. So something is triggering that for you...

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Hi there. I have an issue where the game stutters frequently ( If I am running it stutters every like 3 seconds and when im walking it stutters in heavily object or entity populated areas ). I have tried some #╰⚡fps-optimisation fixes and most importantly the stutter solution in #│🔧troubleshooting but nothing has worked. My pc is more than capable of handling the graphics and it shows since my fps range is consantly 60+. Ive also tried lowering many graphic settings, including render distance which im guessing contributes to stuttering issues in many games, but the only thing that improves is my fps. Actually I believe you can have the MO2 on an HDD and Anomaly on an SSD and it shouldn’t cause any performance issues.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. folder and ONLY delete the "mods" folder you'll find inside. Leave the rest untouched, you don't need to delete anything else
2. Move your G.A.M.M.A. folder to the new location

When you have finished moving everything to the new location:

1. Run the installer as admin
2. Click on First Install initialization
3. Select your Anomaly folder
4. Close ModOrganizer
5. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:
🔹Add your Anomaly folder to antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

Mods under disabled separator shouldn’t be enabled. They’re there for some reason. Probably because the modlist won’t be cleared until 1.0. Those mods can break your game

As of lately I see a lot of people having these shader issues but I didn’t come across them. If something gets borked for me really bad I just keep the downloads folder and my stashed clean Anomaly, delete everything and full reinstall go brrr. But people with slower Internet may not be so keen on this. Altho in 99% cases it fixes all issues…

Oh, I think this is one of the methods to launch in debug but I prefer doing it through Anomaly Launcher. Just tick debug there, launch the game through the launcher and debug will be always on for all executables. To turn it off do it all the same except unticking debug.

Shader issues can arise from a lot of addons, for example ES, SSS, Atmospherics, Beefs NVGs, Glowsticks and etc… A thousand things can happen 😬

For a real quick fix I would advise a full reinstall. Keep the downloads folder, that is where the all addons are. They won’t be downloaded again at it will be much faster. Look up a guide on how to reinstall

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

my game stutters even after turing the cpu 0 thing off completely as well as messing with alife.ltx, updating my drivers, turning on the mod that tells you to turn on if you stutter, and unlocking all my cpus. It only starts to stutter after a while of playing, but the game runs fine in frames usually 100+ fps.

I have kind of a weird problem, ive been playing gamma more or less fine for the past couple days, but today my game has been really bad. all day my game has been running 70 FPS on launch and holds for about 5 minutes, then gradually goes down to as low as 12 FPS in a basically linear manner over the next about 15 minutes. I figured its a cpu problem so I did take core 0 off of affinity, but that about all I can think of. anyone have any ideas?

for more context, i start playing at 70 fps, and as i play, for the next 15 minutes it will slowly drop until its basically a crawl. sometimes when I pause and come back its back to 70 for a bit, but then goes right back down in 5-10 minutes.

ahhh yea i had the same fps issue too, when i changed my graphics my fps would dip like 30-40 even though i was lowering settings, made no sense to me

i feel ya, if you dont mind redoing keybinds then i suggest deleting your user.ltx, it'll reset your graphics and keybinds but it fixed my issues with fps, just gotta make sure not to change too many graphics settings

actually they suggest you dont do it through the launcher, apparently it messes with gamma as gamma will automatically do your graphics settings when you load it up

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Open Gamma Launcher as Admin
9) Uncheck every box, but leave Force zip extraction box checked.
10) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Hello, I have an issue with the new P90 and G36 models No matter what I do I can't get them in game. Yesterday after the patch release I updated and didn't get them, done a full clean reinstall and still didn't get them, manually downloaded large files according to bot instructions and still nothing. However, I can manually extract Retrogue's folder from large files and drop them in mods folder and that way it works. At this point I am out of ideas what can I do next apart from manually extracting them

Gamma for some reason maxes out GPU, I run it at 70% power so it doesn't run at 220W

I think you might be running into thermal issues and your GPU just shuts itself down

FYI you rarely ever need to delete anything and start over, this is a symptom of simply failing to download the updated files from the patch and having it extracted to MO2 by the launcher

Use MSI Afterburner to limit it, you can even setup profile shortcuts so you can switch between 100% for regular games and 70% (or maybe even 60%-50% for your 3080) for GAMMA

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")

3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings

Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>
