Something really strange just happened and i thought i'd document it while its fresh in my mind

So i went to start my first warfare mode, i enabled the Warefare A Life mod, set it up on new game, chose Renegade, clicked start... Crash. Only a few hours before work so i gave up, closed game, turned Warefare A Life back off and loaded up my current story mode save as Loner... Spawned in as myself with all my gear i had, however I was in a different (random) location and my companions (3 loners, 1 merc, 1 duty and 1 freedom) started slaughtering each other, and given that my Loner companions were still flagged on the map as such, i killed the other faction companions so i could assess what was happening. When i looked at the map it appears warfare mode was active and looking for the PDA tab thats supposed to come with it, it was there too, showing the squads and territory amounts. While trying to figure it out a Renegade squad started fighting my loner companions, i flanked to get a look to confirm before i fired not knowing wtf was going on. I shot the renegade as he got to cover and while he was in cover i noticed he was flagged on the minimap for me which had never happened before with renegades and as i shot him with my low AP ammo i noticed he didnt react to me and stayed focused on my companions in the other direction. I went back into my PDA to see how the commanding squads and that works, and i couldnt do anthying with it, then i noticed that 2-3 factions (including renegades) had already been wiped out. I opened up inventory to check what i was and i was now Renegade and i had just wiped out my only squad in this glitched Story/Warfare save.

Few other notes;
-I did not activate the Warfare Patch in MO2 as i wanted to test Warfare A Life on its own first
-Although all my mixed faction companions were friendly to me, only the Loners were flagged on the map, although the other 3 were still showing health bars on the side
-My Loner companions are friendly and still flagged on map normally, but i cannot command Loners in the squads tab
-Since i killed the only Renegade squad i cannot confirm whether or not i can/could command them
-I made a new save for this glitched mode in case its helpful or fun for later
-I reloaded the same-last story save without exiting the game or changing anything and it loaded up normally

Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I actually changed and loaded up the game 10 plus times changing options one step at a time to figure this out. You need to set it at least to the second to last jump for the reticle to show. texture_lod 0 did reset the texture detail to max so thats why that works.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

@jolly ginkgo well after a long time changing 1 option by 1 on visual settings i finally found which option was causing a ton of fps drops (70 fps to less than 30) Anti-aliasing... For every user that has a similar HW like mine ( 1060 6GB , Ryzen 7 3700x, 32 gb ram 3600mhz, game on ssd) Keep Anti-Aliasing off, it will cause the game get under 30 fps instantly !

Helpers and mods, please take a note of this. After 0.9 got launched i had this issue and finally found why fps got fcked by this option
