It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Im having a weird cycle of issues: I get this white vegetation and to fix it i launch default anomaly once with delete shader cache box checked. Close Anomaly and launch gamma, white vegetation is fixed but now NVGs dont work (holding n plays sound and animation but no overlay) and dof is broken (comes back on when trying to activate NVGs even after !dof). Close and restart gamma, dof and NVGs are fixed but white vegetation is back. Any ideas?

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

So... here is what I did...

These are ALL THE ADDONS (all 376) in one zip file

I downloaded them and replaced the original "downloads" file in Gamma/GAMMA RC3

Then you have to launch the MO2 and manually enable all missing addons

So while it's not really practical and easy, it is possible

Again I only did this because for some reason the launcher won't give me more than 357 mods (Magic number is -1 +1 right now from 376 not counting additional mods)

Once all were enabled everything worked fine menu wide, but now I'm getting "missing mass"

While there is a fix for this (it isn't consistent)

I hope any of this helps, I love this community and just want to do what I can to help

is there a way to narrow down what might be killing fps other then graphics. I hit a chugging fps moment in Garbage and my visual settings are at the minimum. I got the prefetcher on since it came out as testing, stutter fix has been on and I just turned offline combat to Smart Terrains Only

I just tried turning off Wet Surfaces and got a CTD "Shader Compiling Error" or something like that. And I wouldnt know, Ive only made it less than 5 minutes into a new playthrough but wether its Foggy/Dark or Blue Skies and Sunshine my STALKER is Polished to a Mirror Finish, The Clothing, Bare Hands, Guns, and the ground gets white patches where the sun is hitting.

even before updating to 0.9 i updated SSS to 15.0 on the prev build of GAMMA and found no issues. other than the occasional black grass in Garbage during Foggy Weather. but nothing like now

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything. Instead, do this:

(game was working completely fine before hand and it still runs but once I get to a certain point in the game it gives me the same issue. (this was all just for context)

Seems like for me at least after updating the game tonight I cannot start the questline of Living Legend playing as Duty, neither Petrenko or Vorodin have the dialogue option and yes I checked on my PDA but I don't have it either.

hello everyone, after reloading a save, I got a black screen. The cfg_load grading_warm command helped, but after that the weapon reloads on the f10 key. I did not find reload in the control settings. If i change the user.ltx file and starting the game, reloading again on the f10 key. If execute bind wpn_reload kR in the game in the console, everything is fine, but until the save is reloaded.

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>
