everytime you click install/update launcher checks if the mods already downloaded and if so up to date/ correct. there are 300+ mods, so redownloading/fesh install can only increase you getting flagged again by mod db, what you need is patience.
get the new laucher, and try install/update in an hour or so.

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

You need to enable a mod in MO2: Quick Companion Teleport

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.
