And delete everything inside.

Then do this again.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

Hey guys, im having problems with my graphics card, it keeps running at 100% while playing.
Steps i have taken to "try" reducing that 100%:

1. Went from Anomaly (DX11- AVX) to Anomaly (DX11)
2. Significantly lowered IN GAME settings which run the game a lot smoother (haven't checked FPS but it runs smooth with occasional microsecond stutters)
3. Updated my graphics card drivers to latest.
   Still my GPU runs at 100% and i don't know if thats bad
   Are there any mods in MO2 i can fiddle with to try reducing the load on my GPU?

If your gpu was running at lower %, then it would mean that you have bottleneck in your system which is bad... or the game is badly optimised... which is also bad but that's devs fault 😄
Alternatively, you can limit the game fps to lower gpu usage

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

How can I run Gamma in Dx9 ? The whole screen becomes blue. I suspect shaders might be doing this

elect Anomaly (DX11) in MO2 and click Run. DX9 doesn't work. AVX generally has worst performances unless you have a 12900k or 5950x CPU.

You need to enable a mod in MO2: Quick Companion Teleport

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt

3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Any idea why fog still appears after I've set its occurrence to none? I can't find any other mods or settings that would enable or disable fog.

It's just how it is, fog gets stuck for a few ingame days when you start a new game, then the rest of the weather presets kick in.

This is persistent rotation. I'm well beyond the first few in game days. I've noticed it happens every time there's a psystorm which I'm relatively okay with since it doesn't usually stay for an entire day or be so thick you can't see more than 100ft. But then it occurs in the normal rotation occasionally and it's worse than the psystorm fog. My biggest issue is that it stays around literally all day or most of a day.

If there's nothing I can do then there's nothing I can do but it's incredibly irritating to be shot from someone dead ahead of me that is beyond the fog. Wanted to see if I could fix it.

Hello, I'm currently having issues with extremely long loading times on gamestart/area change, and also game freezes for about 20 seconds on quicksaving. (normal saving works fine). I have downloaded gamma data and done a full gamma installation in the launcher. Deleted my previous saves where it happened and started a new one. The problem still persists. Hello! Does anyone know why exactly shouldn't we enable Agressor reshade or simmilar disabled mods? I'm not talking about the mods that have bugs in them, but the ones not ticked in MO2 that are not in the ''mods with bugs'' category?

Also goes for the disabled animations in game (enhanced recoil for example) I had all of those animations enabled before, when i played a few months ago, plus the Agressor reshade and the game worked beautifully. What has changed so much?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

1. Close the installer
2. Go to your C:/Windows/System32 and look for a file called Robocopy.exe
3. Copy this file and paste it in GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources.
4. Remove Robocopy_10.exe from this folder and rename your recently pasted Robocopy.exe to Robocopy_10.exe
5. Relaunch the installer with admin rights, it should be fixed.

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Hey, I got the "Escort the Ecologists" Mission from Spore at the clear sky base. I then meet the scientist and he says "we should get going".
Then the PDA shows the objective in the middle of the CS base. I move there, ecologist stands next to me, nothing happens.
When I move away from the Clear Sky base the objective pulses and sends me an 'update' to move to the location.
When I move away from the ecologist, it says that I should go to him. When I do, then nothing happens other than the messages stop harassing me.

I reloaded a save, still the same thing. I moved around the base, still nothing happens. I started a NEW GAME and then tried. Still same issue. I've seen on reddit a few others had the same issue, but no fix. Is this a known issue and if so how do I fix?

So I tried to run gamma on the deck but on windows

Went through the normal setup

And it definitely works, but steam deck controls on windows is all over the place. May need a 3rd party app to remap steam deck buttons to keybinds

Is there a dedicated steam deck page? I'd like to post my findings for anyone trying to play on the deck through windows
